Love both cards but the cacti and hugs was my favorite. I love word play on cards because people smile when they read it, and that's the purpose of giving cards, to make people smile.
You make it so hard to stay in my crafting budget because I want everything you used. Loved the Mandela and the candles. Arrrrggggghhhh. I gues these will be on my wishlist.
I cannot believe I’m saying this, Simon, given how much I adore mandalas and boho in general, but my favorite this video is the birthday card. I feel like the color blend is just so impactful and the synergy between the sentiment and the background is, well hard to achieve because the sentiment both stands out but also coordinates so well with the candles. It’s truly outstanding.
These are awesome cards Simon, but I'm crazy about the birthday card. The card base color, along with the color blended candles are the perfect backdrop for the elevated sentiment. It's a card I would send over and over again. I would also gift box these cards in assorted colors. It's a winner in my book. Thanks for the great tutorial.🌷🌷
Love the colors on the candle card. They blend so well together .All your cards are awesome .Love learning all the different tricks and ideas from you. And you explain everything so people can learn from your videos. Awesome job .
What a great tip to leave the stencil on while wiping the ink off the embossing! The candle card is my fav. Good thing since I already have it. I foresee a lot of use out of this stamp and stencil set.
The first one is my favorite, the colors are some of my most favorite and I love butterflies. All of your cards are amazing and I am so excited to try this technique with the emboss resist stamping. Coloring is so relaxing for me. Thank you for the detailed instructions!!
Thank you Simon for this great video. My favorite card was the candle card because of the colour combo but I really loved the Mandela card and the succulent cards too. You made it difficult to pick a favourite with these three beautiful cards. 🇨🇦
I like them all! But if I had to pick an order or if I could order one style with different sentiments it would be Succulents, butterflies, then the happy birthday. They’re all very lovely!
Okay, I'm going to pick the candles card because of the colors you used, however, the succulent card came in a close second! I just got my succulent stamps & dies and the candles stamp and stencils. So much fun! I have to say, thanks for putting the candle flames on a separate stencil, and I also want to commend you for the absolutely easiest 2-step stamping ever on the succulents stamp set!!!
I love the bday/candle card b/c of the colors you used but I also like the background stand & the way you used it on the last card. Always love all ur tips. I think I'm going to have to plant a $ tree 🌳 in my yard 😂. Great job as always Simon 👏.
When I was still in elementary school I use to make and stamp “cards” with my grandma. I remember having fun and her’s were always so beautiful. Watching your videos made me decide to start making them again. Do you sell these cards made in the videos?
Simon, these cards are awesome!! I so love the candles card. And I think you did an outstanding job with thise whole release. I don't like cacti (sp?) but this card..... Great! 👌
Simon, thank you for this video and all the tips and tricks. I love the butterfly and the birthday candles. And--to my surprise I also love the succulents. I am not a fan of succulents but I really like the stamp set and of course the card. 😊😊😊
While I am not opposed to watching your videos as I DO ENJOY them. BUT can you please explain the the table surface you are using. A surface that seems to allow you the versatility of putting so many different products on it, that cleans up with such great ease?
It is a laminate countertop. I wouldn’t recommend using something like this since it can sometimes get a bit stained. I just use it because it has no glare when I am filming. I would recommend a glass mat or craft sheet. :)
@@simon.hurley For a craft room, ( I am not filming ) seems appropriate to me. Appears to be very simple and accommodating for the one who wants to keep it simple (ME) lol. THANK YOU! Even when is just a laminate countertop, I LOVE the color and the texture that it sends in your videos. Am honestly gonna talk to the hubby about this idea. I inherited a TON of stuff from my mother (Scrapbook related). I am feeling ambitious and anxious to sort, organize and use (abt. 400 sq. ft. of stacked boxes and shelving to sort). Your videos so far have helped me a great deal. Figuring out what some things are, and how to use them. I hope that once I figure it all out - I can add some of the beautiful items that you have created to add to Her/My collection.
I always love all of your cards. It is so hard to choose a favorite. I do really love the succulent cats, though. Thank you so much for “another video.” I could watch you every day! Thanks for sharing. 🥰
Simon, you make this look so easy! I just got the mandala yesterday and I am excited to try it but I really like the candles card so I may have to get that too. You have a great line of products! Congratulations on your success!
I ALWAYS have to use blending brushes as I am VERY heavy handed. My embossing never turns out well, even though I always use the anti- static brush as well as Versamark ink. Just a question tho... why do my Versamark embossing pads always get black spots in the pad?
Because the pads are sticky and pick up everything. Sometimes those little black specks are actually lint and sometimes they seem to be either ink flecks or paint. Weird, I know. Fortunately Versamark is so sticky that the black specks never transfer. I still replace my pad periodically though but it’s purely because of the aesthetic. I don’t like it when the pad gets dingy.
Hi friends! Leave a comment letting me know which card is your favorite. :)

I liked the Moroccan tile card, colors in background so vibrant
Love both cards but the cacti and hugs was my favorite. I love word play on cards because people smile when they read it, and that's the purpose of giving cards, to make people smile.
Simon, You are changing this industry with your peel apart stamps & fussy cutting sentiments! Gorgeous cards.
You make it so hard to stay in my crafting budget because I want everything you used. Loved the Mandela and the candles. Arrrrggggghhhh. I gues these will be on my wishlist.

I agree! That birthday card came out extra special on the eyes!
I love the fact the heat emboss resist technique makes it look like batik fabric.
All 3 cards are super! Love the clean ink blended look of the candles, but also the gorgeous Moroccan background. 🧑🏼🎨😀🦋
I love both cards but love the pun regarding hugs and cactus! Lol
These are awesome cards Simon, but I'm crazy about the birthday card. The card base color, along with the color blended candles are the perfect backdrop for the elevated sentiment.
