Hello From New Zealand Simon! I have just recently found your videos on RUclips and this is the very first one I am watching, and how wonderful it was. I must telly you that about ten years ago I found the Perfect Pearls in a shop and never got around to using them. I am in the process of reorganizing my craftroom and came across the box of Perfect Pearls and I thought to myself that I have no ideas of how to even use them. So I popped online and happened to find this video of you using the Pearls and I was totally gobsmacked of what can be done with them. Your video was absolutely enlightening and I then realised that after a whole decade that I had missed so much, so I am going to have to get a couple of the brushes that you used and some clear Versafine ink to get started making some new kinds of cards using the Perfect Pearls. I just cannot wait!!! I don’t even have to go out of my way to find the brushes because there is a wonderful large store in my local town that sells every kind of brush imaginable as I had noted when I was there a few days ago, so I am all set then. I appreciated your tutorial more than I can say, Simon, and I thank you for your talent and your expertise. I love card making and I am 77 years old….BUT….who said you cannot teach an old dog new trick. Your techniques are very straightforward and look very easy to do. Well, we’ll see after my first card with Perfect Pearls. I really love them now. Thank you so very much for everything, Simon. You are a WONDER!!!!!!! Sincerely yours, Patricia in New Zealand.

Love your cards Simon. I have those Perfect Pearls, though I put them in my craft room in a safe place. I just need to remember where that is. I have the Pearl White one out, so they are here somewhere. 🤣🤣Can’t wait to get home and use my new stamps too😎🥰
They're all my favorite, Simon. I honestly cannot choose. I really love shimmer and shine on my cards. It doesn't matter what kind: glitter, metallic, perfect pearls, pigment powders, glossy accents, pearlescent. Just a long as it isn't flat matte. (Not that there's anything wrong with that.) I love how you always bring a few different techniques to each video on how I can achieve that look.
I really appreciate the way you use a product several ways. The flower stamps and die set is beautiful with the perfect pearls used to color them on your cards!

I love my perfect pearls. I've had them for about 15 years and I still have a ton left in each pot of every color, lol. They are so universal and beautiful. TFS some fun techniques!

Oh Simon, you make it look so easy. I've tried perfect pearls on black and white cardstock, only to have it smear and rub off. So very frustrating to me. All your cards are lovely. My favorite is the stained glass window. Love the sentiment you chose.

My favorite was the last one with the window. I have had Perfect Pearls for YEARS and use to use them all the time back in the day but not in the way you showed...using them as paint! A new way (and excuse) to blow the dust off the tops and use them up. Going to try to use them this weekend and see what I can come up with. Thank you Simon!

Thank you so much for this great video! Years (and years) ago a dear friend gave me 2 sets of this product (different colors in each), but she passed away before she could show me how to use them...and thanks to this video, I now know! I'm also reminded about stamping in one color and then adding another small detail of color...to the stamp and restamping it. I keep forgetting to try that and it looks like it will blend better than trying to add color to the cardstock after the ink is dry (referring to the yellow flowers with the pink centers). Thank you!

hey simon! you can use a plastic straw cut at an angle as a scoop for the powder. one straw makes several scoops.

Honestly, I like all your card designs! The tone on tone background on #1, and the layout of #2, and inking behind a die cut in #3 are all techniques I'd like to try.
I need to be brave and use my perfect pearls, I've had them for years and have been hesitant to venture into new territory.
