- 7 reasons you SHOULD NOT move to LA in 2022! So, we already discussed what I loved about living here, and today I am telling you the worst things about living in Los Angeles. Moving to LA was one of the best decisions of my life, BUT there are a few things about LA that I hate! 😅
There are tons of videos out there saying don't move to LA, but honestly, the decision is YOURS! You have to make that for yourself. So, I have listed out some opinionated cons to moving here! Life in Los Angeles can be interesting, unique, and totally different for one person than the next! I hope you take these tips about moving to LA and are able to make an informed decision!
This video may have you thinking, is moving to LA really worth it? And, that is a good thing! Make sure you think through your decisions! So that when the days aren't as glamorous as you imagined, you are still confident in your choice to move to LA! Especially because of the time we are living in, there are a ton of people moving out of Los Angeles, and I think some of these reasons mentioned in this video are why people are leaving the west coast for places like Texas and New York! So, let's dive into what its really like living in Los Angeles in 2022.

I feel your pain girl. It’s antisocial city with majority of people either inept, rude or super fake nice. If you are someone who values genuine relationships and politeness, you will suffer here.
The one question I DISLIKE the most, “what do you do?” NOTHING 😂 ….I’m an LA native and the majority that move here for an acting career, etc they seem to love to ask this question so they can feel better about themselves….so annoying!
I live in Texas and lived in Dallas as recently as February of this year. And $1,200 for a one bedroom with a balcony, kitchen with an island, and large living room seems pretty cheap. Something like that usually will cost around $1,500 - 2,000 in a nice area.
PREACH!!! But how did you not mention the TRAFFIC?!?!?!? Lol. Been here 4 years...everything you said is on point. It is SO HARD to tell your friends or anyone who has never experienced living here. I'm planning on getting the hell out of HELL-A next year when the lease is up.
I was born in L.A. county and I live in Texas. I agree with you when you mention the cost of living in TX for half the cost. I must admit that I am so afraid to move back to my own hometown because I haven't lived there in so long I hardly know the place. It changed for the worst looks like.The homeless crisis I kept hearing about and high crime and out of control rent paralyzed me with fear. Eventhough I have relatives that still live there. I want to visit but moving Is a big step.
It keeps getting worse every year!
I live in Hawaii and people do things like open doors for strangers, say Aloha to tourists and only honk a car horn if your waving hello. With all that being said, I was in LA for a month and people were always rude unless they knew you. How can people be like that? If you ever come to visit, hut me up. I'll make sure you get the Aloha Spirit. You'll have the best time!
Cliquey like high school sums up my social experiences in LA county in general. Always found people in SF, SD, and OC to be a bit nicer and more open to actually saying hello or acknowledging strangers. Just blows my mind sometimes.

Lol where are you at that you're experiencing so many earthquakes? I rarely feel any. 🥴 I also rarely go into LA due to the homelessness..it's sad can barely walk on streets ..smh.

My dog doesn’t even realize what’s happening! lol but they happen all the time, but big ones don’t happen too too often!

Two years after Covid, Los Angeles got more and more boring. Most of the people going out now are basics, just saying. Now, it's just boring. And I agree, LAX is THE WORST airport, EVEN AFTER THE RENOVATIONS.
