I'm genuinely curious... Did you know this prior to yesterday? Or, did you Google this yesterday? Or, did a RUclipsr Google this for you and then they tried to act like googling stuff for people is content?
@@Hoopsick I can't speak for @HH-hd7nd, but as the "original" original was a big hit in many European countries (#21 overall Europe #1 in Norway #5 in Austria #12 in Poland #16 in Germany [25 weeks in the top 100]...) most people knew what it was when Cascada released their version. But we (to be exact: I) are not surprised that Americans don't know about it and don't care enough to google.
@@eilidhwatson8406 Well, a cover in parts. If one uses the actual recording (the audio so to say) it's a sample, if you record it new by yourself (which is what Cascada did) it's a cover. They only used the melody and the lyrics of the original but wrote their own music & lyrics for the verses. Maggie Reilly gave them permission, which was necesarry in this case, as one can only make a cover of someone elses song if one doesn't change neither the melody nor the lyrics.

My dance class teacher was a fan of her and the original song is actually a good Rumba (as in the ballroom dance) which is why i've danced to that song countless times before Cascada even released her version (yes I'm old, I know^^).
now that i've got a decent computer again i'm gonna rip the audio and loop the "everytime we tou-tou-tou-touch" and just have that as a background loop
I think it's a 9.5 out of 10 they should work on their dance skills ;). What I love about Electric Callboy (talking strictly about the time since Nico joined) is that their videos are fun yet technically good. Often such goofy songs are really bad and count on their jokes to be accepted but Electric Callboy does funny videos and funny songs and still you could single out each part (the techno, the metal stuff, even the Schlager in "Hurrikan") and it all holds up as a legit song of that style!
