Well, that is not really true - or maybe it is better to say "only half true"... Cascada only used the refrain from Maggie Reilly, but the rest of the lyrics etc. in their version was "their own"... Listen to Maggies awsome song and then to Cascada und you will hear the total difference in lyrics and music beside the refrain^^

I'm am 80s/90s baby and even tho I haven't heard the true original from Maggie Reilly, I've heard Cascada's version plenty of times. In all honesty, I much prefer EC version over Cascada. There's so much love and punch to it. Plus Nico's voice is just intoxicating.

BTW I use an electronic form of index card to keep my reading and other records. So index cards hold an important place in my life.

Cataloguing systems aren't dependent on index cards I have to say my local German library I do internet searches for books and haven't paid attention to the cataloguing system or the arrangement on the shelves. I don't think they use the Dewey system.

@@MetalGoat84 Yeah, many of these European castles are converted into hotels. Which makes sense. And they're not that expensive to buy. At least, not when compared to an apartment in NYC. You can get a very nice castle in Europe for a couple million Euro.

In Germany there is an institution for monument protection and when buildings have a certain age they have an eye on it that it is kept in the original shape. Also restorations have to be done the old way and sometimes with old techniques, materials etc. So owning is one side but keeping and maintaining the other side.

This was filmed in Germany at Schloß Rothestein (Rothestein castle) which is in my area. A beautiful castle that is quite new, only 130 years old.
It's the perfect size where it's a castle you can actually imagine living in.
Most castles are just too big and difficult to maintain.
