It's amazing that someone like you who wasn't even alive when he passed can be so touched by such an amazing artist. He was and will always be a total legend, so unique and talented in every way!!! Don't apologise for getting emotional, even after all these years in getting emotional as well, it's allowed!!!
I have been a Queen fan since the 70s I still shed a tear when I see These Are the days of our Lives. I love seeing new fans reactions to discovering Queen for the first time
I was in the gym at University, the station playing was ROck... they stopped and dropped the news. I stop my work out and sit, and cry, half of is are. We're GenX and he was one of our heroes.
It is my humble opinion that Freddie Mercury was, and still is, the greatest front man in rock and roll history. They could be playing outside in the middle of the day with no stage lights, and he would still put on one of the most amazing shows ever.
Yes, I remember later on that when this album was released, there was a race to get it finished before Freddie passed away. "The Show Must Go On" was not just a song about sadness of the limitations of life, but about will and determination to fight to the end. The show went on and it still does today. It is Freddie's legacy.
actually, they also recorded the next album "Made in Heaven" with Freddie, with the song "Mother Love" being the last one he could sing - still very powerful, but Brian May had to sing the last verse.
It is wonderful to see how Freddie Mercury/ Queens' stunning body of work is transcending across generations. You are always so honest and genuine, young lady. I hope your channel continues to grow and grow as you immerse yourself in wonderful music across the decades.
Don't feel bad I'm 64 years old and was lucky enough to see them live twice. This song, and "Who Wants to Live Forever" makes me tear up every time I hear them. Please react to "Save Me" from Rocks Montreal 1981.
Freddie absolutely LIVED for his art, and he had no intention to let a little thing like dying stop him. An absolute legend on so many levels that it's hard to comprehend to magnitude of the loss. I can't even begin to imagine what it must have been like if you were personally close to him.
The song was written by Brian May. It expresses his feelings regarding carrying on, knowing his friend is dying and all the emotions that come with that. However, having Freddie actually singing the lyrics makes it all the more poignant. One of my favorite Queen songs for that reason.
One big and truly masterpiece in music world over the years by this day. 32 years without legendary Freddie is the most tragic loss , that you can feel with your heartbroken heart , he will remembered as one of the biggest music entertainer of all time , all the dance moves , all the controlling of the massive crowds in UK , Europe and around United States , wonderful lyrics , all the the energy in recording studio and on the stage made him so special and this song are showing all his legacy with Queen , may his musical soul rest in peace forever 💔💔💔 Fairytales of yesterday will grow But never die I can fly , my friends Show must go on ❤❤❤ Freddie Mercury ( 1946- 1991) 💔💔💔🖤🖤🖤
You look so beautiful saying that words about Freddie. A girl who was not even in this world when Freddie passed away. Thank you for be one more fan! your tears speak for you.
When I was a child, the episodes of the Highlander series were on TV on Saturday mornings. There was no school, but I got up to listen to Princes of the Universe in the main title. There was no RUclips yet.
Every time that song starts I get immediate chills. I friggin love that song, it’s so powerful. I cry most times I hear it as well. Great singing, great guitar work. You have to go back and listen to the little guitar solos. Thank you for reacting to it.
You and me both Biss with the tears. Freddie was a legend that we lost before his time. Such a talented artist. Great, genuine reaction. *goes to find a towel now*
Don't be sorry for the emotion. Freddie would want you to enjoy the performance. Keep posting. He's a legend for a reason. AND you're correct. Posting brings the music to a "new" generation.
Remember seeing Queen in their very early years 1974 i think at a small venue in England Freddie was very young but very much the showman. At the end of the gigg he invited everyone back to their motor home what a man. Im not ashamed to admit i had tears watching this so many great memories.
I know that I cry when I watch these videos and songs. But Freddie Mercury is still singing and "The Show Must Go On" and his fans love him where they all are!! I love and miss you very much Freddie. Let your Precious Spirit Forever Rest In Peace and Carry On With Your Eternal Gift of Singing. 👑🎶 Amen 🙏🏻 Blessings and Love 💞💞 From Illinois USA 💓🇺🇸 January 6, 2023
Great reaction Madalina. Truly felt your emotions. Brian May wrote the song but Freddie lived it. It's always nice to come to your channel and see a genuine honest take on a song. Keep doing you. Nobody will ever do it better
For me at 48 the most powerful song ever recorded by a man knowing he was dying .. his performance in the booth is seconded to none💯❤️✌️🤘.. tears every time
One of the legends i have heard about this song is that Freddie came to the studio to record it. He then downed a bottle of vodka and went in and pretty much nailed it on the first go. And this was when he was very sick and not very long before he died.
Dear Bisscute, you are a truly beautiful soul. Don’t apologise for being emotional over the memory of Freddie. He was an incredibly talented artist who lived for his art, his fans and died tragically too soon. I’m an old rocker but still get emotional listening any of the Queen songs strongly related to his passing, like this one. Thank you for your reaction, actually thank you for all your reactions, they always come from your heart.
A good combo for you, Biss, would be watching Flash Gordon, in which Queen did the entire soundtrack. Your heart is so wonderful!!! Freddie gave us something that lived beyond his own life.
Nothing wrong with crying- just means you're human! Aside from his talents as a writer, singer and performer, he not only put his heart and soul into the lyrics and performances but he always gave his everything every single time- one of the ultimate performers. Besides his music, he'll always be an example of perseverance and an inspiration to many.
Actually the lyrics for this song were written mostly by Brian May as Freddie was too sick even then. And I know they sound like Freddie is talking himself but I guess it was apparent to all Queen members what Freddie was going through so probably wasn't difficult to write this stuff. Like the song you mentioned, Those were the days of our lives, was written by Roger Taylor, the drummer, about his children, but after Freddie died it got a whole another meanign for us all and in every concerts since it's played over video stuff of Freddie especially and older Queen video material. Also you should give this song another listen, just the song, no video. Because here it is sort of "only" a backround music for this Freddie Memoir and it is beatiful. But this song is a genius song in its own right and as good as any other super hit of them and this is defrinitely in their super hit gategory. Also they never got to perform this live with Freddie, but the first time it was performed live was at the Freddie Tribute concert sang by Elton John with the rest of Queen and with Black Sabbath's guitarist Tony Iommi palying guitar as well. It's a beatiful version as well.
No he wasn't to sick to write as this point as it was 1990 and Freddie was still writing in 1991 it just that Brian was main writer behind this song Freddie was main writer on other innuendo songs like don't try so hard hitman delilah etc.
@@philfitnesspt6139 Yeah I was talking about this song in particular. I know he did do some writing still on other songs but not as much as he was already ill.
@@Zhaggysfaction from what I've read Freddie wrote just as much as normal on any album. Yes he was Ill but that didn't stop him working just touring the other members said he needed to work so that would have included song writing. He was main writer on I'm slightly mad don't try so hard delilah and the hitman and innuendo was a joint effort so he was just as involved in writing as on any other album in fact more so as in previous albums they each concentrated on their own songs more.
I was only 10, but I remember the day when he died, we were in shock... He was unique. This song was the last one released by Queen when he was alive, a few weeks before his passing. It's a powerful message.
Beautiful reaction a little more background on this song which makes it even more beautiful and sad at the same time. The Show Must Go On" is a song by British rock band Queen, featured as the twelfth and final track on their 1991 album, Innuendo. It is credited to Queen, but written mainly by Brian May.The song chronicles the effort of frontman Freddie Mercury continuing to perform despite approaching the end of his life, although his diagnosis with HIV/AIDS had not yet been made public in spite of ongoing media speculation claiming that he was seriously ill. When the band recorded the song in 1990, Mercury's condition had deteriorated to the point that May had concerns as to whether he was physically capable of singing it. May recalls; "I said, 'Fred, I don't know if this is going to be possible to sing.' And he went, 'I'll fucking do it, darling'-vodka down-and went in and killed it, completely lacerated that vocal".
Don't cry young lady Freddie is not dead becose he will never be forgotten thank you for your honest reaction like always. Freddie love you. Love seeing young people still loving the old school music. Ciao bella from Italy and Belgium. Respect 2 you and your family. 🇮🇹❤️🇧🇪

Out of all the Queen songs. This is a Top 5 song to me in their catalogue. The last song he wrote. The lyrics are so beautiful. So inspiring. But very real. "Inside my heart is breaking. My makeup may be flaking. But my smile, stays on." The mask, worn in public. Hiding the true face of Freddie, and all of us. We put on the brave face, the confident one. The mask that is a lie. Not wanting to show our reality. Our inner turmoil.
This wasn't his last song that was mother love with Brian may..Freddie's last songhe wrote himself was a winters tale..infact show must go on Brian may was the main writer.
Ok,this is my favourite reaction from you, doesnt mean i like to see u cry but its pure emotion. We all felt it. Your new fascination with Queen and Freddy has made me love and appreciate Queen and Freddy much more. Yes. Rmfressy was a great showman and so special. I wish I got to see the perform at least once now. RIP Freddy and than you for leaving is with your talent and your spark!
Awww, yes it’s a very special song. Written by Brian it really highlights he & Freddie’s relationship. It’s really about the whole band, but of course Freddie made it his own.
The scenes with the strange people are from Munich where Freddie lived in the 80ies a couple of years. Watch Freddie's solo song "Living on my own" and you see him celebrating his birthday in Munich.

Antes de irte físicamente ya eras leyenda,al dejar el plano físico te hiciste inmortal porque siempre perdurará tu recuerdo en nuestras mentes.
El show debe continuar.
💔💔 This brilliant song was released when Freddie Mercury was dead for months! I was a young guy then and when I saw original clip for the first time, I cried! I will never forget that feeling of pain and I am a 45-year-old man today!

It's ok to cry! You're adorable!
"It's Late" is Queen's second best song (behind Bohemian Rhapsody, of course), IMO.
Απίστευτο τραγούδι ❤ απίστευτος καλή τέχνης ❤ έχει είδη έτερη μουσική ❤και πάνω από όλα είναι ολοκληρωμένος καλη τέχνης ❤
Your new fascination with Queen and Freddy has made me love and appreciate Queen and Freddy much more. Yes. Rmfressy was a great showman and so special. I wish I got to see the perform at least once now. RIP Freddy and than you for leaving is with your talent and your spark!
Freddie ... one of the greats
Amazing
Awww, yes it’s a very special song. Written by Brian it really highlights he & Freddie’s relationship. It’s really about the whole band, but of course Freddie made it his own.
And yet the thing he would be most proud of is how great his fans are. He loved his fans. He loves you all.
Hate to see you cry Biss! I guess this just proves you are a sweetheart and great person! Blessings to you and all you hold dear in 2023!
The scenes with the strange people are from Munich where Freddie lived in the 80ies a couple of years. Watch Freddie's solo song "Living on my own" and you see him celebrating his birthday in Munich.
