Love the video, at the moment for me I am fortunate to be in the position to where money isn't something I have to have atm. I will say I hit affiliate a couple of days ago and I can see that I will be making more than you when it comes to ads. I do think that is because I will be probably streaming around 90 hours a month with 5.5 min of ads per hour. Trying to grow the RUclips also but I know I need to post more.
Thanks for this insight. My granddaughter is streaming about 2 hours per day and thinks she will make a complete living from Twitch playing video games. (She has NO other income) I worry about her.
It will 100% not happen like that. In fact, I even made a different video as to why you SHOULDNT be a streamer.... ruclips.net/video/U-MGrxuraiI/видео.htmlsi=REnn7IHoe1x9Yt0A
@@ApexCryptoYT I don't think we are in disagreement since you are apparently taking about youtube. I am glad that your daughter's YT page "pulls major views". But, is she making $50,000 or more per year? There's the issue for me.
Cuz I've got a broken ass DSLR lol (like legit). I use the Canon 5D Mark III (I left it in a hot car, and ALL menu display settings are LITERALLY cooked). We even have a troll command in my Twitch chat for it "!cam" 🤣🤣
Personally, I will only ever run the absolute minimum amount of ads I am capable of running on Twitch. Ad Revenue is clearly not worth it overall. Secondly 1/3 of the time you spent streaming was purely ads... that amounts to $47.78 is obscene. Instead, focusing on subs, and cultivating viewer interest/loyalty is the clear payoff. The worst part, you lost half your revenue by being insane with ads, which is more evidence that ads are detriment to channel growth and revenue.

Thanks for the research. I decided to change how much i run ads due to this video. Keep up the great work.
Lmao how does Static sleep at night? - On a waterbed of our tears... from all the ads.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
I mean... you could have just spent 5 dollars to sub
@@paulwohlfeil3807 I was already a sub. It's a joke.
and this is why the couple months of tier 3 didn't bug me, all the ads not enough Static :P
i guess the lesson here is that people don't enjoy ads and they are worth less than people think.
100% for small-mid streamers alike! Thanks for watching!

I disagree. My Daughters YT page of different toys and playtime pulls major views. Even the affiliate link in the description pulls clicks

why is your video in shooting in 1080i and not 1080p. I can tell because of the lines you see from the motions in your video?

Cool video!
Thank you! 🙏💯
How many hours did you stream a day with maxs ads on ???
I'm not a full-time streamer so this is based off of streaming around 3-4 days a week for about 3-4hrs at a time.
what are extensions?
Extensions are those 3rd party apps that Twitch allows to be integrated on their platform. You can find them under your "Creator Dashboard".
@@Staticsupressor so is this money you made through blerp for example?
@@WarmupsLIVE Some money is through BLERP... some is through Sound Alerts as separate extensions, yes.
@@Staticsupressor ah okay I see. What have been your highest paying extensions?
