    We moved down to near Redruth in November 2022, and I swear, I am in heaven!
    Never mind the incredible fishing literally everywhere you turn, just driving around blows my mind constantly!
    The whole of Cornwall is just soul achingly beautiful. The coast is so dramatic, true nature run wild. I can think of nowhere I'd rather be, just wish I'd moved us all down here 30 years ago, but my two boys, 15 and 23, now have an amazing place to make their families. Just gotta get our daughter, son-in-law, and grandson down here now, and everything will be right in the world.
    Cornish bass sure are a breed unto themselves!!!! 🤍

    Ever lost a potential PB? It happened to me this morning.
    Pretty pissed off as the conditions in North Wales weren't the best this morning but I persevered for 3 hours!
    Switched to a shallow diver (60cm) as it was far too choppy for surface lures and varied the retrieve style then it hit like a train.
    All was going well even thought the 7-23 rod was bent like a rainbow and the little penn 2500 was doing it's job with the drag.
    Got it to within netting distance and the choppy sea retreated, the fish felt it's weight on the hook and managed to flick the hook 🙄NIGHTMARE!!!!!!
    I think 2 things need to change,
    1-Don't make all the hooks barbless
    2-Invest in a heavier casting weight lure rod.
    P.S nice to see someone landing fish today haha 👍

    Cracking fishing, very well done indeed! A serious question though, and it comes from me struggling with trying to film my own bass fishing for various reasons.............do you worry about so obviously showing various locations on camera like this? Do you feel any responsibility towards local anglers and where they fish? There is so much stuff I would love to show on here, but I just can't bring myself to do it, wondered what your thoughts were? Well done again, that water looks stunning!

    • @Anglingaddict75
      @Anglingaddict75  2 года назад +4

      Thank you buddy.
      I have "my" marks and the marks I film.
      My theory is this.... I can show a mark, I try my hardest not to BUT if someone sussed it out it's up to them to "figure" it out.
      You can take me to one of your marks and I'll fish it the way I do and catch nothing, you have figured it out and fish it that way, catch loads!
      I want people to go out and have fun fishing, if someone goes to a mark I film and catches, I'm happy!
      BUT again it's up to them to figure it out😁

      @@Anglingaddict75 yep, understand completely. It's mostly me here, for whatever reason I guess I am a bit overprotective of where I do much of my fishing. As you say, anglers still have to work out how to fish these locations.............

    • @Anglingaddict75
      @Anglingaddict75  2 года назад +2

      Same for me though, I have marks I don't film because of the overprotective factor and that's fair.
