I like how you keep things simple and understandable yet professional.
Charging RFIDs are like Pokemon, gotta get 'em all!
As a Tesla owner and fanboi, thank you Audi for jumping on the bandwagon. I hope this thing sells like hotcakes and the VW group, and in turn, all OEMs, double down on electrification.
As a fellow Tesla owner and fellow fan: 🥂 Electrify the world!
I'm glad you have so much fun testing these cars. Always puts me in a good mood.
Bjorn Nyland, you still make some of the most pleasant & understandable car review videos on RUclips. Don't change a thing...j
The sportback is so much nicer looking than the normal e-tron IMO. They're all still too big and way too expensive for me though.
Wow the eUp is really efficient, even at -2C 👌🏼
All the Audi e-trons look sooo good. Best looking EVs (with Taycan) IMO
Are you German?
Yes, the trick is to design an EV to not look like an EV.
In most countries: Lucky to be able to afford one house. In Norway: Lets have 3 houses, 2 just for fun.
In Australia… America… Lucky to be able to afford one house… Unless you are rich. Then you have 10 or 20 houses just to make more money from people who can’t afford a house because you and other rich people already own all the houses
Joseph Cullen a German Video Shows that from the 70s until 2013 (Interests fall to almost 0%) Renting and saving the difference to owning a House for example in an ETF was better.
Since 2013 ist changes...
Pete is never wrong Hahaha 😄 Yeah, that might be the city folk. I wouldn’t know, I’m “from the bush” myself... live in a shack all the time, not just on the weekend
@Pete is never wrong Wrong, Pete....i live in Australia and people live in shacks because they can't afford a real house. All this other stuff are Crocodile Dundee stories from the past. Very different today.
Thanks for the awesome vids and tests!
Maybe just a suggestion/request: it would be interesting to have the session charging time and amount of energy charged for the charging sessions, and for the 1000km ones the number of charge sessions as well.
Keep up the good shiiiiieeeeeeet! 🙏👍
From end of the year in the UK all EV chargers must accept contactless cards :D
Do they also display the fees ? Accepting credit cards is ok, but I don't want to get ripped off.
That’s a good start😉
I want Plug & Charge everywhere. No cards at all.
norway is absolutetly gorgoeus and sounds like a dream to live there, except the car taxes of course..
Yes, extreme taxes on gasoline cars, like 300% sales tax
Thanks again for your sharing. Lovely landscapes.
Did I saw well, 24Kwh at 100Km consumption? It's a little high.
I saw the announcing price here in Portugal. 76K euro. It's udge. And does not come with all possible extras. For a good quality sound the owner have to add more 1300Euro. A long list of possible extras... Until the air inside the car is an extra 😁
Waiting for the range test. So far this looks like a decent EV.
Reminds me of the last time I was in Geilo, I know those roads
"Should I tell them?...for lower price also". As if Audi e-tron owners care about charging prices :-) Nice video, Norwegian nature+roads with music feels like a few minutes of holiday.
You should see in the Norwegian e-tron group. All they complain about is the high Ionity price and that the app is down all the time.
@@bjornnyland alright, maybe some aren't filthy rich. Price + consumption are my irks against e-tron, holding on to my 2017 Ioniq for a bit longer.
Can you imagine trying to do this in the UK? "We're at 4% at our destination. Let's charge. Oh, it's not working. Let's go to the next one. Oh that's not working either. Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit!"
Award for best thumbnail ever. GG
Would be cool to know what software / apps do you use when you run your tests? I mean route planning / charger location finder app, navigation (for the real speed), weather check, wind direction and all other stuff you need.
Big fan here, keep up! :)
just a tip Bjørn all VAG, VW, Audi and so on, can open and close the windows from the key fob, you just need to hold down the lock button to close the windows and unlock button to open them.
Why do I need that feature?
@@bjornnyland vag has doing it since 1997 i think an the reason is that if you forgot to close them you can do it from the key fob ore if it a hot day you can open the windows for ventilate the cabin.
Love your content!
3:06 Why is the charging screen showing the normal e-tron and not the e-tron sportback?
Software details... you now... premim package needed to have your car on the screen wink wink
I also noticed that detail. It would be cool if they would match it like on the Teslas.
Because ICE car manufactures are not use to making proper software, so that is why e.g. the eTron still call the owner for oil change every 10.000 kilometers.
@@HansMilling and this is probably built on an existing ICE platform which doesn't help either. "Wait till the big legacy auto companies throw lots of money and build their on EV's. It's over for Tesla"....
Ha ha 😂
etron charging speed is amazing
It looks much nicer than EQC, i-pace and model X.
That looked like a triple rainbow, pretty rare.
10:25 that's what wifey said
Has anybody asked if you'll test the Polestar 2? 😉 Seen some reviews already, but only the TBTP will count offcourse
No, you're the first one. I swear.
Wie Geilo ist das denn .. 😀
Audi executives: let’s come up with a naming scheme that everyone can figure out.
Other Audi executive: better idea, let’s come up with a naming scheme NOBODY understands.
Collective Audi Executives: THATS IT! Option #2!
".. and then let's also remove all haptic hardware buttons to get rid of any competitive advantage and instead imitate Tesla blindly without knowing what we are doing and why!"
PS: FC? FC what? FC Liverpool or FC Watford?
In Norway can't you just pay via contactless credit/debit cards at chargers or is everything via RFID?
Now it´s time to do the same test with Polestar 2....
Tell Polestar to lend me a car. Now.
Norway always gets it first, good for us. Exept for Tesla, America first for Tesla. (;
IX3 will come to Norway first also. Soon.
To be honest, I'm disappointed that Polestar didn't include me in the press test drives. So I'll test that car whenever some cool guys like iMove or Marcusbil gets them.
Seems a lot of car companies are still living in the last millennium and haven't understood where the newer generations are getting their information from nowadays.
The sheer number of people Bjørn has helped to find a suitable EV for their needs should be well known in the respective departments, else they are not doing their job.
That’s a cool shot of the rainbows
What camera are you using, nice zoom.
Is that a question
@@bjornnyland Doh! Yes.
8:06 locking LED dance, was it really locked? seems weird the mirrors didn't move either, might yet another option😉
Folding mirrors is probably extra option you have to pay for. Just like turn signals.
As a German, I misunderstood the term "Geilo Test"...
Because Geil means horny I guess...
Hi nice video. I do not find the song you played here in your playlist. What is this called?
Can you be talking about the price on your reviews compared to other vehicles?
Hi bjorn . Big fan here.
Wich is the best ev with a range about 200 a 250km (small second car) do you think?
Hvorfor kan ikke du le når Geilo?
Really. People in Norway usually have 2 cabins? Geilo, Hemsedal or Trysil. You realize that Norway is bigger than Oslo
I like your expressions! :D ........I am curious to know, is Bjorn's accent a typical Norwegian one?
Not really, you should see Jens Stoltenberg's accent, that's a typical Norwegian one.
@@cbn1362 that's good to know....thanks
Nice review, but 5 Adverts during this 12.56 Video interrupting the Video is really annoying. RUclips really pushing for you to go Add Free. I know its not Bjorns fault
LOL the image on the instrument panel doesn't look anything like the actual car. Is it really that difficult, Audi?
When is the Polestar 2 review coming? 😉
In Two Teslabjørn Weeks
Geilo Test 🤣👍👍
Regarding he noise test. Does this one have the double laminated windows?
No
@@bjornnyland Guess that's some of the reason for the difference to the 55 you tested on winter the tyres then...
is there an app or site to check the different charger prices in Norway?
You don't need that information if you are living in Norway (prices are not constant). Just drive your EV and check all the prices))
P.s. I don't live in Norway 😄
In the UK, the Sportback is 55 only. What's the price difference between the 50 and 55 Sportback there?
For instance, etron 50 sportback is starting at eur49k in Norway. In comparison, model x starts from eur85k!!! in US both cars cost the same but you get much better equipment in Tesla for the same price. its no surprise why Audi sells so many EVs in Norway. I think they`re low balling the price there...(marketing)
@@DG-uv3zw wow, that's cheap? Does that include taxes? The cheapest 55 Sportback is admittedly well equipped, but it's £79k in the UK, which is around €88k! The most basic E-Tron 50 SUV in the UK is £60k, which is €67k
@@TheWitchfinderGenral you don`t pay taxes on EV in Norway :-)
@@TheWitchfinderGenral Now you know why they sell so many in Norway. Low balling the price to make it more attractive/wanted...
Looks like the Ioniq is the most efficient one.
Haha,, norwegians has alot of cabins :)
*a lot
Polestar 2 is out
Probably not first
I think that the acceleration is limited for not wear the tires too much with the burn out.
It's too risky have a car so powerful especially when you drive in city.
lmao
Antonio, traction control on EVs is almost impeccable. So even with quicker EVs, you will not spin out in city driving...
Unless the driver is a chimpanzee or you hit black ice.
@@rzvqvb only if is all wheel drive. But i was non talking about traction control.
Have you ever driven a gas car before?
He drove BMW
nietypowy88 And Renault Laguna (if I remember correctly)
I had the following fossil cars in the past:
- 1985 Renault 5 1.4 l gasoline
- 1994 Hyundai Accent 1.3 gasoline
- 1992 Renault Laguna 2.0 gasoline
- 2004 Renault Laguna II 1.9 dCi diesel
- 2006 BMW 525d E61 diesel
