  • My solo bouzouki arrangement of Sí Bheag, Sí Mhór in good quality! My old video of this arrangement was my highest-viewed video on RUclips, but the audio quality was terrible, so while re-recording for another project I thought I'd take the opportunity to repost so everyone can enjoy it in good quality from now on instead.

My instrument was made by Daniel Hoban www.dhobanguitars.com/ . There are a few well known makers but most of them are quite pricey and have long waiting lists, if the builder is even building any more. Your best bet for value is probably to find someone local. There is an 'Irish Bouzouki forum' on facebook that might have a list of known builders or at least some collective knowledge about builders.

Hey what tuning is the bouzouki in, GDAE? Asking for those of us who can't read sheet music :D Lovely piece by the way, been listening to it over and over!

Love this arrangement and yes the sound quality is so much better than the last version. Would you have Tabs for your version by any chance?

Thanks Paul! I put sheet music up on the other video, but here it is here: facebook.com/eamoncoughlanmusic/photos/a.761312267409321/761316137408934
I'll add it to the description here too, hopefully eventually this version will get all the traffic that's going to the old one 😅

Thanks for sharing Eamon, much appreciated. Only started playing bouzouki in the last 12 months and on the basis I'm a senior senior player - it'll probably take me 5 years to master. Thanks again. Be well.
