    👉 Tip: pay particular attention to @1:30: the "SHOW AS" and "REMINDER" settings
    (otherwise you're gonna upset / mess-up your colleagues calendar, lol)

    Thanks for this video. It's just a another example that Office is doing everything to make life harder. instead of one button "Set vacation" you have to follow a precise walkthrough and don't f*ck up anything. "Want a vacation? Don't set it as "Out of office" even it makes all the sense in the world. Oh, no, no. This is Microsoft for you!"

      Not really. If you want to set yourself as on Vacation, you can simply enable the Out of Office automatic replies.
      This guide is specifically for people and teams that like to share their upcoming Out of Office schedule with their team via a calendar event.
      These are two very different things.

    Hi Paul! How can I block public holidays so the people can’t put me on meetings . I added the holidays to my calendar , I just wanted to show on those days that I’m out of office to others that work in other countries . Do I have to do it one by one ?

      Hi!
      There isn't really a "one stop shop" method for making your calendar designated as OOO for all Holidays unfortunately.
      I am looking into a few potential options for this though and will aim to have a video up on the best/easiest way I find as soon as I can.
      I expect it will likely be one of my next 2 or 3 videos.

      Thanks Paul! I’m an executive assistant and our COO requested us to block in his calendar the public holidays in Spain particularly Madrid and also he said he wanted it to be from 9-6 pm( I know .. weird) but sometimes executives request all sorts of crazy things to us and we simply have way to many tasks ! So I’m trying to find all the “one stop shops “ as I can 😂😂😂. Many thanks !

      Yes. That is correct.
      In the video here I add in a fake address I use for Demos like this (as I don't want to put in anyone's real email address). That is why I refer to it as my Alternate Identity.
      But here you would be entering in the people you are sending it to. At 2:17 in the video, I mention to add in your teammates.

    Am I the only one who prefers a Team PTO Calendar? That way you can toggle it on and off... Otherwise, you have stacked up OOO appointments at the top of your calendar.

      I personally prefer having a shared calendar for this purpose too, but I know a lot of workplaces that don't (hence the video).
