- How to avoid acting like a beta male when you first start dating a woman you really like, so you can instead act like a charming alpha male to cause her to fall in love with you and want to make you her boyfriend.
In this video coaching newsletter, I discuss an email from a viewer who started dating a woman he really liked, but he later got friend zoned for acting too much like a timid beta male. He originally met her through online dating and things started off very hot and heavy. He describes how he got caught up in her initial high interest, her frequently texting him and how this caused him to start acting a little dopey. He said he felt the games were finally over with her and that they were on their own little love boat. He never actually had sex with her and when she mentioned going away for a weekend together, he thought he would finally be able to seal the deal. Then she suddenly dumped him over text with an explanation that she just wanted to be solo. He later called her to get some closure and figure out what the hell really happened, but the call got him nowhere and her answers only confused him more. He asks my opinion on the situation and what I would recommend that he should do in order to give him the best possible chance to get another shot at dating her.

P. Simons Thats great but I will relate my own story to this. My girlfriend of 3 years broke up with me in September, 2013 and I left her alone, she got another boyfriend, She eventually came back to me in November and it seemed as though we were happy again. We weren't arguing or all that stuff, but a year later, she left again and this time for another guy and for good. So just because you get them back is no means a guarantee she stays. I lost mine but it was for the best but good luck in whatever happens.
Jack Bravo That sucks man. I know it's not a guarantee, but I'm pretty confident she will stay. She didn't leave me for another guy so maybe that's a different situation. Anyway, I wish you good luck too and I'm sure it was for the best like you said.

Simons Well yeah it was for the best. our relationship lost it's spark after almost 5 years and the first time she didn't have a guy until a couple weeks after we broke up but this last time, she already had lined up a friend and the next thing I know, she's making him the boyfriend, so I just let go. There was no drama and I didn't question her or say much after that but just depending on what the problem was for you two, if she's the type that can't stay when things get tough, then she's not a long term possibility. Many of these girls want the ideal fairytale love story and that's not how real life goes, but continued success to you both. :)

Coach Corey, I just wanted to drop you a quick line to relay how on point your advice is. I have been reviewing your material and watching your videos for over a year. I have also read your book. I am not actively seeking a relationship as I have been married now for almost 30 years, but I am finishing a PhD. in Psychology with an emphasis in behavior and can say that the principles you are using are in line with psychological research and practice and are generally effective on both male and female subjects. You have cut away much of the boring theory, yet kept the relevant material that produces results. I applaud your ability to break down the difficult concepts into easily managed ideas and practices. Keep it up! You are helping people in a real way by offering sound advice and principles that work.
Coach Wayne is right about the male ego thing. I told my friend about Coach Wayne's book when he was struggling with women and he got pissed off. He even admitted TWICE that he has an ego through the roof when it comes to women. Some people simply can't be helped.

I was flirting with a sales woman. Should have made my move while we were laughing in the moment but I was not that motivated. Next day I returned and flirted some more and then smoothly, quickly asked for her phone #? I called her by her name, Pam. She never asked me my name and.....Corey was right, she rejected my advance and she said that she did not want to get in trouble. So, I give her my # and jokingly told her if she changed her mind, call me but when you're off the clock! If they do not ask your name, forget it.Another woman, a cashier, who turned me down twice and I now just hi and bye, reached out to me and called me by my name. But too late. My rule is, you get two shots and you say no, you're history.

Minnesota isn't 50s in the summer. More like 70's, 80's and even 90s. There's also a ton of water. The lakes in the midwest are 10x as nice as the lakes in the south. I live in FL and can't think of a more pointless place to live than on a lake here. Not to mention much lower crime in MN vs the south. The winter is brutal though!!
I pretty much know the answer to this but you can never go wrong asking someone else's opinion to be sure. But if you make a date with a woman and then go no contact, and she calls you to make sure the date is still going on, that's 80% to 90% interest level right?

Hi coach, you're fucking brilliant and I've been very succesful since I found your work. While i'm very certain the alpha male approach is the best by far, BUT are there any women who really go for the beta males and stay with them long term? Is this really a very small percentage of the women population? Because I'm trying to re-attract my ex (left me because I was too cold and not really reciprocating her love).

boajoa86 Yeah. 1am on a Saturday night is definitely a check on her part of what you'll do with it, as well as to see how busy you are on that night. Hopefully you did nothing and carried on with your interesting life. A booty call text is more like: "Hey, I'm coming over". Fat chance of that on a Saturday night though. If you are interested in this woman do text or call her the following day but NEVER promptly reply to a vague text like this!

C'mon man! Fundamentals! It could be a booty call but 3% men don't concern themselves with those and are certainly unavailable at 1am. You never answer a text at 1am. If you have read the book you'd know that at 1am 3% men are either sleeping, making love to an awesome woman or working on their purpose. If you answer at 1:05am she knows immediately you're not doing any of those things and will text 3 other guys and see how, or more importantly, when they answer. I'd see this text the next day and text back. You miss me don't ya?
