- Do you need to use pavers on soft side round pool if setting up on bare ground??? YES! Here is proof they work. *I actually looked up rainfall and we had 21” in may alone in my city. And 7” in june already 🤦♂️
Thank you!!
I like that pvc from the filter ...mine came with hoses
All pools come with hoses. I changed mine to pvc. I have other video explaining my hard pipe process for my pool
@@danielguerra4447 cool! I'll check those out .
Worst mistake I've made with my 14x48 bestway was not leveling the ground it was 3 inches off then second mistake was no pavers then my pool dropped down 2 or 3 inches because there was no support for the legs
I made the same mistake with my first pool 5 years ago. It was low on one side, and then we got torrential rain and the water poured out the low side. The legs sank deeper do to the water flowing onto the foot pads of the poles. Learned my lesson. Leveled ground better this year, and used pavers and I went through 2 hurricanes and over 35” of rain last year and my pool stayed level 🙏🏼🙏🏼
My inground pool is 5 inches off I let the water out because I didn’t want anyone to get hurt since my pool is not in grass but concrete , would adding pavers on top of the ground be fine to level up one side of the pool ?
Thanks for your video. How do you make sure your pavers are level when burying them? Any tips?
Click on my name and look at my other videos. Should be a video for tips on setting up intex pool and there is tips for making sure pavers are level… not so much pavers, but pool frame needs to be level, pavers need to be adjusted to make sure it’s level.
So im a first time pool owner and i set my pool up and it was 6inches off on one side. So i bought pavers but i was going to stack two of them that are two inches high to try and level it and then not put any under my other side. Should i not do that and if not how do i fix and level it? by the way im draining it to do this not with the water in it if that helps
Best way is to level ground. Sand can help level, but only 1-2 inches. If you are off 4+ inches you have to dig to level it. You need a paver under each leg. You can dig paver down or leave above ground, whatever is necessary to keep frame level on top of pool.
Can u use broken pavers?
What size pavers did you use?
Never use pavers! They will break. I’ve learned that the hard way. Use treated wood at least 2 inches thick
Never say never. Just need to use the right ones. Not a single cracked one in over a year of being up 😎
I've used pavers for a few years and had no problems whatsoever. 22'x52" Swimways (Intex) metal-frame pool. 1' square pavers because they were inexpensive and then we used to the leftovers to make a little platform for the filter and a little entryway walkway that looked really cute with the squares.
We didn't even bury the ones under the legs, once they were level and the pool was set up, we just surrounded them with mulch. They weren't up against the edge of the pool or anything, we made sure to at least have them level with the ground.
They break because your pool may be too big, cheap pavers, or gap under the paver
Can you add pavers after you’ve already filled up your pool? Also, do you think bricks would work?
Needs to be strong enough not to break under the water weight. I used 4x7 pavers only like $1.70 each at Lowe’s. You can add them after but it’s tricky and you will be putting a lot of stress on the frame while jacking it up to take pressure off leg.
@@danielguerra4447 cool, thanks for getting back to me
so you buried your pavers?
That is the correct way. I did have to leave some on the ground ti get pool level. You adjust each leg and bury paver or leave it up too depending how much you need to raise or lower top rail.
I buried my pavers, but I'm worried about them flip-flopping around or sinking? & using gym flooring as cushion, what are your thoughts 🤔
Just purchased a 22 ft coleman but ground is unleveled. Can i just use pavers for leveling. Also, would the pavers cause any tears underneath once pool filles up? Thanks
Not recommended to use pavers to level as you need pavers under every leg. You can’t use multiple pavers under each leg. Best way is to bury each paver level to ground so it’s not sticking out, but this is where you can use paver to help level pool. You can use entire thickness of paver to level pool by not burying it under certain legs. Just make sure each leg is pulled out so paver doesn’t rub on liner when filled. You can use styrofoam to cushion liner by placing styrofoam between liner and paver
@danielguerra4447 thank you so much for that best practice. I'm clueless when it comes to these things. First time pool owner 😆 And yeah I made the mistake of setting up the pool without officially leveling the ground.
