    Did you have to trim the inner fender wells

    • @Realtruck

      Hey Joe, yes. The bottom of the Ranch Hand bumper is higher up for a better approach angle, so we trimmed the fender liner to match the higher line and the liner tucked neatly behind the new bumper.

    does the grille guard block any of the driving and safety sensors?

    • @Realtruck

      Hey there! This one is specific to a truck without a front facing camera, but it can be ordered with a cut out to accommodate the camera. Hope that helps.

    Should we lockedtight these bolts with blue ?

    • @Realtruck
      @Realtruck  2 года назад

      Hey there! The lock washers should hold everything sufficiently, but some folks like to use thread locker as an extra precaution. And also the blue thread locker won't hurt the install. Hope that helps. :)

      For anyone looking for this answer in the future... An engine hoist works. Straps from each side connected to the bar that wraps around the head light. Hoist connected in the center of the straps so you have two points of lifting on the bumper. Hope that makes sense... Slow and steady. Once you get it close you'll have some support from the tow hooks. Watched the lower plastics around the headlights and the headlights themselves. GOOD STRAPS and GOOD KNOTS that won't slip. It can be done.
