    Appreciate the help! But you forgot about the heater plug that's pinned to the bumper in a few spots.. Other than that, spot on!!

    Thanks for video. My 2020 RAM 2500 Tradesman has an air dam at the top of the bumper that joins the lower radiator shroud. 4 plastic push pins that must be removed.

    Do you need to remove the tow hooks to remove the bumper? Or was it because you changed out the bumper?

    Do the tow hooks have to come out? I know you need to pull the front tow hook bolt.

    Is this the same procedure for a 2023 Ram 2500?

    They forgot to tell you about the 10ish clips that hold in the heating cord that you have to remove as you're holding it up when it's off

    Great video, I have a 2021 ram 2500 power wagon and I bought the grumper 4400-1 bumper through your website. I’m having trouble removing the bumper with the winch. Do I have to remove the winch also?? Thanks

      I removed the winch. Removed the bumper. It doesn’t seem to work with the new grumper bumper though… any thoughts??

    If you are adding tow hooks, can you loosen the bottom 18mm, take the top 18mm bolts out and roll it forward enough to get the bottom grill changed out?

      I know this is an old comment. But maybe it will help others.
      Unless you have tiny tiny hands the answer is no. It is next to impossible to remove the lower grille without removing the bumper and then removing the bracketry behind the bumper.

    Is that truck stock height?
    What tires and size are you running?

    In the beginning, the harness disconnect was for the fog lights?

    • @Realtruck
      @Realtruck  2 года назад +1

      Hey John, that harness connects to the factory fogs and also the sensors if equipped. Hope that helps!

    Nice Job explaining the procedure. I have a question please....With the Tow Hook bolts torqued, is it from OEM to have the Tow Hooks to float a little in the tolerances of the boxed frame mount.....Mine are loose with bolts tight.... tightening more would start to deflect the box metal beam..... It this your understanding. Are your Tow Hooks somewhat loose?

      I just removed the bumper on a brand new truck. The tow hooks did not have any wiggle room

    • @Realtruck
      @Realtruck  2 года назад +1

      Hey Addy, it depends on the manufacturer of your bumper. The SteelCraft bumper I installed had a little wiggle room with the tow hooks when all was torqued.

      There is no need to remove tow hooks if you just take the 18 mil bits at the front brackets .

    Will a 2021 3500 be the same?

  • @zacharysmith7872

    If you have a block heater, that harness has to be disconnected separately.

    All respect to the techs on the video but it’s a total waste of time and effort. I had at the shop a 21 Ram and I tried to follow all the steps, because it was my first time with this type of trucks ,all I had was a big headache!!! Guys fastest way is removing the 18 mil bolts on the front brackets. And You’ll just spend 10 min maximum .
