    Noooo!!! We never like to see a damaged product. Ranch Hand is one of our sister companies. Please start with contacting who you purchased the Ranch Hand through and they should be able to work with the shipping company to file a claim. This should resolve the issue. Please let us know if you need anything else!

    • @WanderingWeekends
      @WanderingWeekends  2 года назад

      💙💙💙100% the shipping companies fault. The products were packaged as well as they could have been. Forklift forks take no prisoners! Haha. I know RH would take care of me regardless. I simply asked for some touch up paint since these bumpers were sent to me for review.

    I wanted to try Ranch Hand for a front bumper for my 23 Ram 5500 but apparently they don't make them. So i Went with Fab Fours, have use them in the past and their bumpers are good quality and the paint never peeled off

    Yep. I live in Florida now, but I was born in Moultrie, 71 years ago, and growing up, there were no deer in our immediate area. Now they are plentiful. We favor Ga. parks, especially the COE's, and especially the West Point Lake Coe campgrounds. Thanks for your reviews. We scan all your past Ga. park reviews before we schedule our trips.

    Based off of this video and review I have purchased and had installed a Ranch Hand Legend bumper for my 2021 GMC Sierra 2500HD Denali. My wife is no longer going to allow me to watch your channel LOL. J/K love the look it gave my truck and I am now prepared for any four legged friends that may try to cross my path in northern WI.

    Went the route of the RH legend brush guard vs bumper, cheaper and easier install. I could not be more satisfied, well maybe if it was free

    Looks like net weight is around 240 lbs. not bad at all for that much bumper. Truck looks good!

    I'm not generally a fan of brush guards for my trucks as I just feel they are a bit overkill for my needs, but that front hitch does look handy. Bikes are always a problem for us and a rack off the front would certainly help. Please let us know what bike rack you are using and if it has any negative effects on visibility after you get some use with it. I'd love to see a future video with bikes loaded up, how secure things feel, view from the cab going down the road, etc. I may have to check out some of Ranchhands offerings and see if anything might fit my needs.

    • @WanderingWeekends

      Definitely a video I have on the list! Honestly I was 50-50 on the brush guard. The hitch took it over the edge for me.

    Ranch Hand have always been nice but pricey now. I have a Peacemaker Outlaw Premium to install Wed. Scratch and dent price made it very worthwhile!
    Hitting a large critter that suddenly appeared in your path can change a lot of minds on these bumpers...

    • @WanderingWeekends
      @WanderingWeekends  2 года назад

      No moose here but TONS of Whitetail. The factory bumper weighed around 40lbs or so. Very light.

  • @tkilg7169
    @tkilg7169 2 года назад +1

    It's a good move, and not just a cosmetic addition.
    I had never considered a brush guard, because our truck is 2wd, and I don't offroad any, but one day I almost hit a huge buck......was at least an 8 pointer. Then I decided to get some protection with a brush guard, and RanchHand seemed to be the most robust. So as long as a deer doesn't jump over it and into our laps then we will probably not sustain a lot of damage.

    • @WanderingWeekends
      @WanderingWeekends  2 года назад

      Tons of backroads here in GA full of whitetail. Hopefully I’ll never NEED it but in the meantime I like how it looks.

    • @WanderingWeekends

    • @olivaresrestoration967
      @olivaresrestoration967 Год назад

      No sir you cant. I have the same truck same bumper and had to remove it not only is it too much weight on your front end. You would have to make cuts on the bottom of the bumper to allow your plow mount to stick out. Not convenient at all. Had to sell mine and install the factory bumper.

      It's not about looks, it's about protecting your vehicle from deer and other large animals that run out on the road and would normally cost $1000s and a lot of down time if you were to hit them with a factory bumper.

  • @johnhines3591
    @johnhines3591 2 года назад

    Don't understand the need for that bumper.
    Adds weight & reduses aerodynamics witch both will reduce fuel economy..
    Looks ok, just pointless.
    Doubt you will be pushing brush while towing.

    • @WanderingWeekends
      @WanderingWeekends  2 года назад +5

      I actually love the front hitch built into the bumper. I also do more with the truck than just tow. Taking a few backpacking trips soon. I’ll be glad it’s there.
      It’s OK if it’s not for you.

    • @MrBama68

      Not for pushing brush, for front in protection while you are heading down a road and a large deer or wildlife runs out in front of you.

    • @Southpaw_Precision
      @Southpaw_Precision Год назад

      Clearly, you’ve never hit a large animal / wildlife with your truck before. Years ago while driving home from an evening horse colic farm call, I hit a 1200 pound bovine in the middle of the road. Impact speed was about 45 mph. Had I been sans the Ranch Hand replacement on my F350, I would have been stranded.
