Honestly I really like the friendship of Johnny and Peter and feel like it’s kinda underrated. I like the idea of Peter having at least one super hero friend he can talk to

Maybe in ultimate spiderman where they meet as kids their relationship is different
from my understanding. Peter is more responsible and serious when it comes to his civillian life, while Johnny, not having a secret identity, is a party boy and jsut does whatever. I also would find living with that kind of guy a pain in the ass. the superpower stuff only exacerbates the problem

This is a good issue - the comic shop owner pushed it on me the day it was released - he literally MADE me buy it, even though I was like, nah, that's okay. I ended up buying it, haha. But it's a hilarious story. Hickman's entire Fantastic Four run is a really great (I slept on it, at the time, ended up reading the omnibus).
Speaking of Hickman... his new Spider-man book ACTUALLY has Peter with MJ, with kids, working for the newspaper. Very acceptable. I didn't know what to think of his whole revamp of the Ultimate universe at first - wasn't a huge fan of the Invasion comic. But the first three issues have been quite enjoyable. It's nice to see Peter where it feels like he should be (feels to a long time reader, I mean)
