Brand new echo cs 4910 unboxing and first start with trouble. And I go over what I did to get it going. The cs-4910 was discountinued for the 4920. The cs-4910 and 501p are very similar and we go over some of that.

Switch on, choke out, pull till first pop, push choke in (DO NOT TOUCH THROTTLE!) This puts the carb in fast idle mode, pull until starts,, disengage chainbrake, blip throttle after 10-15 seconds of running to take it off high idle, let idle for a minute then go cut some wood.

I never pull the throttle and you can hear in the video when I first pull it sputter a bit so I turn off the choke and nothing. So I checked the spark plug gap cause I’ve heard of them being out of spec and it was fine. So like I said I increased the throttle a bit and it started fine. I live about 7000ft in elevation so that’s probably the reason.

You're welcome: also, these saws are easy to flood. If you forget to switch the ignition on and pull more than twice on choke, you're flooded (been there). They usually start faster if you don't use the decomp button. These are great saws, do a muffler mod, remove the limit caps on the carb needle screws and adjust for your altitude and weather.

Awesome saw, bought and returned three of them because I had no idea what I was doing thinking it's the saw. The forth one took limiter caps off and learned how to tune. Then did muffler mod from gear head and filter mod from A2d. So blessed to have this saw, God is good
