When I get one. Can you just come over my house and do it for me 🤣🤣🤣
Thank you for posting, and very generous of you to give this away! I could really use this saw, I live in Western NC, and we have been hit by the hurricane Helene, and flooding in my area has been the worst in recorded history. I would use it to get out and help folks in my community that can’t afford to hire people to do work to their damaged property. I have a young son that is obsessed with all things logging and forestry. It would be really cool to have something like this to pass on to him as well. Thank you for your consideration!
Neighbor jealous as hell you are out there having fun with something. Dont let them type slow you down from doing what you love man. Ive enjoyed seeing you grow with your hobby the same time im learning this stuff as well.
Yeah bummer but it’s all good I’ll just have to get out and film somewhere else! And appreciate man you’ve been great help to be honest.
@@brainiacproductions357 and bro I still think you should put a g444 or g466 on your list. I seen a forum earlier today guys were talking about putting a 54mm big bore 460 cylinder on a 440. Check into it. The 44 is a stock 50mm and mine is the big bore 52mm ported. I bet the 54mm ported would really rip
Yeah I’ve been looking at the 444 to be honest. I’ll buy a bark box for it too. hopefully I can get one really cheap. They are going pretty low on eBay. I’ll have to look into the 460 cylinder and piston for it. My favorite saws are the 70cc saws right now and man the clones are the way to go. They are great priced you can get a few of them and port the hell out them. And the quality on them is not bad. I’ll have to get a 660 after the 444 but may get the 466 since no one bids on them on eBay.
Lots of people need them right now thats for sure.
Yeah I need some right now lol 😂
The Portland is a pretty sweet saw
Green is your favorite color. I don't "need" another saw, but would love to win this saw to use for limbing and storm cleanup. HOAs can be a real pain- fighting them can get expensive quickly.
I agree i don’t wanna get fined by the hoa
👍🆙C
Green is your favorite..i think I will like to own a ported saw i have been affected by a hurricane a few months ago. Only problem is i am living in the caribbean.
I would like to thank you for giving this saw away!!! I would love to have it because I've never had a ported saw before. I am to old so I will go ahead and offer congratulations to the winner. It would be nice if the winner would be someone effected by the recent hurricanes and really could use it.
I know I said 20 and under but just follow the rules to a t and you’ll have a good chance. Good luck and stay up to date! As long as you really need it you’ll be a great candidate. Thanks for watching
Iwonder if it would cut better with 325 full skip after port work. Sure looks well built for a HF saw .
Yeah that would probably help.
Substantially improved.
Ty, easy to follow vid. Fixed on first try
Glad it help
Muffler mod video let's go! 🤗
I’ll post one soon!
Been trying to get one but my harbor freight been out of stock 😂
I hear that! And I’ve got a couple saws for sell if you’re interested. They’ve a been ported and run pretty good. Not asking a whole lot for them either. My jon cutter is 175 and the neo Tec is 300.
620 carb & coil, timing key, put a 20 back on it, gut that exhaust if you havent.
I’ll have to pick some things up in the future

Heck yeah man. I bought the ns872i and it's been great and really fun to learn alot with. Easy to work on and learn some porting
Yeah I should’ve listen to you sooner. Crappy carb but it’s so powerful. I’m gonna get a g444,g466, and g660. They are so awesome! Can’t wait to get some new parts for them big bores and oem parts! I think they are the way to go to be honest. Unless you’r not worried about the cost.
@@brainiacproductions357 I just got a g444 ported by Aaron Lynch with the big bore kit. He calls it a 460 lite. Man it smokes my 660. I never knew a saw could be this strong. He sent me a video of it when he first got it built and it was 1 second slower than a ported 500i. If you look at his playlist you can see the 460 lite in action. It's an absolute animal and it's the only saw I ever used that actually scared me. My ported 660 with dome piston and a ton of work is no slow saw but my 460 lite is on another level
@@brainiacproductions357 I've built my ns872i a couple times now and I'm working on the third build with it. I cut a ton from the chamber and I have a 272 husky piston for it. Most the port work is done I've just got to put it back together. I also have a couple more cylinders on order for it and I'll port them in different ways to see what I can get out of them also
@@matthewknight5641 haven’t found the video yet of his 460 lite. And yeah may have to take a break unfortunately. Works just been really crap lately. I’d like to buy his 372 he’s about to sell that’s black and gray. But unfortunately won’t be able to so I’ll probably just buy another clone saw and port it myself. I’ve found a couple Wiseco pistons that I wanna try and pair it with a meteor cylinder.
@@brainiacproductions357 just go to his videos and scroll down. He's built several of them. I'm anxious to take apart the 460 lite so I can see exactly what he does to them to make them so fast. I'll measure it every where and get it's timing numbers also
why does it sound like that
How did you do the muffler mod?
I’ll post a video soon
@@brainiacproductions357 awesome!!! I just bought this chainsaw based on your video.

Don't know if you watch his channel or not, Aaron A. Lynch is a great builder, I've learned a lot from him, he does a bunch of these G372xp!
@@Doc-Cole_Trickle-of-Chainsawsill have to check him out thanks !
@@brainiacproductions357 the latest ones he's built 4 Tazman&MamaTaz will cut @ the same as a stock 500i
Yeah he seems to know a thing or two about these saws and same with iron horse.
Does not seem to have gain much at all.
Sounds like it's running rich up top sill when in the cut. Lean it out just a little more and it would definitely help.
With a few mods these Holzfformas wake up. Porting, muffler mod, timing advance and sprocket size will make a big difference.
Yeah I’ve been messing around with the timing and muffler mod. Won’t do any porting till I get my angle grinding pen.
Subd, loving your vids man. Sounds like she needed a re-tune BADLY.
Definitely thing wouldn’t even cut out of the box. Definitely needs a muffler mod and maybe some timing advance but I’m pretty happy with it.

I put one of those filters on a zenoah clone and it slowed it down a touch. They're pretty small at the elbow, did it hurt the 590's power at all?
Yeah I had to remove a lot of the plastic on the intake whole. They do come very restricted but you can remove quite a bit of material not sure why it’s just a square.
I can see the plating flashing breaking lose & tearing up the cylinder & piston. Maybe the flashing remover tech was off buying new flip flops that day.
I've messed with these clones a bit. Just buy the joncutter 5800, it comes with all the good parts already on it, then do a quick easy port job on it. The supmix 6200 also runs great but has cheap crappy plastic. I had the 61.5cc version (timberpro6150) and the 54.6cc (joncutter5800) saw at the same time, there was next to no power difference. The ports are too small to feed 61cc, if anything I like the 5800 better. The g4500 has a shorter stroke, I think it's 31mm while the 61.5 and 54.6cc has 34mm. The bigger cylinder wont be right on the 4500 without a lot of machine work. There's also a taller piston from a stihl 036 that fits. Dont trust anything novicelumberjack tells you about these saws, he cant measure. I called him out on that and he banned my comments on his channel lol.
I agree after the machine work it is gonna be less than ideal. Maybe I’ll just cut the base and see what happens. What do you think is the best zenoah clone? And I always appreciate constructive criticism.
@@brainiacproductions357 IMO the joncutter 5800 is the best zenoah clone. The supmix 6200 or 6000 runs just like the joncutter, both are 54.6cc but it has really bad plastic, I swapped the plastic out on mine before it had a chance to break. If you cant get a joncutter, get a supmix and buy a new pull start and chain brake. The weimars looks ok but I cant get them in canada so I havent seen one in person. The proyamma is weird, the "68" gets good reviews but the other sizes suck. Some of the 5800 and 6200 proyammas are only 45cc.
@@nseric1233 my Jon cutter has a 30.162mm stroke and 42.862mm piston after doing the math it’s 43.5cc pretty close to advertised. I’d like to get a 68cc or 62cc for the longer stroke but it’s not worth it if they aren’t any longer. And I’ll have to find out what models have the longest stroke. And then pair it with the biggest bore.
@@brainiacproductions357 The joncutter 5800 has the 34mm stroke crank in it. The supmix 6200 is the same. You could buy a 34mm stroke crank off alliexpress for a couple bucks for the 4500 if you wanted, the cases are all the same. There's only 2 cranks 31mm stroke and 34mm. I try to help guys out but no one wants to hear that they're better off buying a dirt cheap supmix 6200 and sticking the nicer joncutter 4500 plastics on it, or just buying the joncutter 5800. A bunch of guys, myself included wasted a bunch of time and money trying to make a 62cc version of this clone when the very easy to get 54.6cc version is better. There's 2 junk 48mm cylinders for these saws in my parts box and I wont be buying anymore of them, they run worse then the 45.2mm cylinder with a little porting. If I blow one up I'll just buy another supmix for 160 canadain lol.
Okay that’s all great information and I do see lots of stuff on Reddit about port numbers stroke mm. But I can’t seem to find any information on 62cc or 68cc proyama or supmix crankshaft mm length. I’d like to get the biggest stroke saw and slap the biggest bore I can find. Maybe a 68cc crankshaft with 62cc piston since they are 47.mm. But like I said may just have to buy and find out what they are myself. But thanks I’ve been watching your videos lately would like to see the huyosen since they are so cheap. But may get a garweiner 62cc since they are 119.99 right now with 2 day shipping. But like I said wanna buy the biggest crank set up so I don’t have to split the case to install one.
I been wanting one of those!!! Nice work and great vid keep em coming
Thanks! Will do!

Holy Ephin 💩 what a stump!
It was pretty big but got some nice slabs out of it maybe I’ll make a coffee table and keep it live edge.

I got the Echo 2511T and it's a pretty mean saw for its size but the limiter caps that come on the carburetor adjustment screws made it run like sht right out of the box. After a slight modification I was able to give the saw a proper adjustment and to my surprise now it starts with one or two pulls! My point is if you don't already know about the limiter screw caps you may need to modify them.
I’ve already removed the limiter caps and installed anti lean jet in the carb thanks!
having one stock myself i can definitely see in improvement honestly still think they lack in power but for the price and a saw that'll push 24 inches kinda hard to beat
That 590 is Strong nice sounding Saw . :-).
If you can spit out a 3D model you should be able to contact a print farm or independant 3D printer owner to print a model for you on your filter design.
That's a strong Timber Wolf!!!!
It looks like this saw is a decent budget saw.
👍 Stronger sounding Saw now.
She runs really well
I like the one hand just after 4:25 because It's lets me & others know what's really doing the cutting. Maybe something to keep in mind.
Check out my most recent one did some one handed cuts and let’s the saw do its thing.
👍🆙C
By the time I bought my second Echo (CS400, then CS271T) I decided not to replace the bar & chain on the gutsy but IMO clunky old Stihl 031. David loved it and it went to a happier (to have it) home. My Echoes will be RTR until I'm too old to use them. Great stuff OOB.
👍🆙C
Did you get the proyama 68cc cylinder kit for your Joncutter?
Yes should be here today or sometime next week. Will post a video soon
I'll be interested to see that. Do the two saws have the same stroke?
I would assume they all have the same stroke but I may be wrong. I didn’t roughly measure mine and didn’t add up so well just wait in see. Maybe the 62cc version and 68cc version have a bigger crank and it’s possible the 68cc has a bigger stoke than all of them.
Looks like it's running great. Good job!
Yeah it’s running pretty well still need to be “properly ported” base cut but I’ll take it. Wish it was a closed port design.
I think the overall goal should be to stop and/or prevent cylinder wall scoring; but I don't know if this's even possible with these single piston ring rigs. OR ... Once the piston wall is scored, can and/or how far, if at all, can the cylinders walls be taken off to take out the scoring; which also likely means a larger diameter piston & ring is needed, to get some more life out of the cylinder head, instead of replacing the cylinder or scrapping the entire saw. Thoughts on this?
I never really thought about that that but you may be completely right. They do offer a dual ring option and I’ll have to swap it out cause there is light scoring already.
@@brainiacproductions357 The heat buildup might be faster & hotter with two rings - a point to keep in mind, but why not try because the single ring clearly isn't working out - just like similar cheap saws I've used & seen first hand. Only they aren't cheap anymore because the corruption has hiked up prices again to keep the scam going instead of an actual reasonable way of life. So if you can get the two ring version & it's not absurdly priced, & you got the time & patients to try it out, I would give it a go & encourage other to as well. Thumbs up.
@@01mustang05 I’ll have to order one up soon just really isn’t on the top of the list. But will get to it sooner or later. Inflations only gonna get worse sadly.
I've used a couple red barn pop up pistons. They were both really heavy and I had to shave a lot off to get the weight back down but they definitely made a little more power.
What areas did you remove?
Is that smaller than the 620 filter? Thats what I went with on my 590.
I don’t think it has as much flow as the stock filter. Couldn’t be much less though.
That's really good chainsaw ❤
