End Music by: Diego A. R. Delfino - Кино
One of the greatest sequels ever made. We all tear up at the end. I still do.
I just did
"I won but I didnt beat him!" Thats a perfect line for Appolo Creed's character.
And Duke "I saw you beat that man like I've never seen any man get beat before and that man kept coming after you. We don't need that kind of man in our lives".
The only one being real and protecting his fighter. Tony Evers was such a great actor.
Apollo is a First Class Opponent, If you notice at the end of the fight, Apollo raises Rocky's Hand/Arm, and Congradulates Rocky....
For sure, even the way he called Rocky out to fight was very very tame. It’s a good emotional literacy test, he’s the antagonist but he’s not evil he’s just a competitor.
He really is! When there is TV he always put on a show. The few times we see Rocky and Apollo together alone he is totally different. The scene at the hospital when Rocky asks if he did his best comes to mind. He is quite angry in Rocky 2. But it is understandable. He is under a lot of stress and pressure. Apollo Creed made these movies so entertaining.
I'm sure the subtitles are wrong.... It sounds like rocky says to Apollo "you're great" not "yo creed" .... And that makes more sense for his character and for Apollo to raise his hand....
@@kvassrockyeah and if he didn’t fight rocky because he’s afraid he’d lose, thats what would make him a bad champion. Respect.
@@iad77 Yeah, those subtitles are wrong. It's definitely "You're great." Another wrong bit I see frequently is during the fight the subs claim "Balboa's on his way," but Stu Nahan actually says "Balboa won't quit."
All those kids ran the last 500 yards. Rocky has been up since 3AM 😂😂😂
The best line in this movie is when Rocky takes Adrienne to the zoo and asked her " what are doing for next 40 or 50 years, if you wouldn't mind marrying me too much."
There’s is no character in cinema history with more heart than Rocky. Seriously my favourite movie character.
Rocky is probably the most inspirational character I've ever seen in a movie
I just love watching people watching the sequal of "Rocky" .... When the count gets to 10 in that final round and the music hits ... I still tear up 😂
Eye of the Tiger is in Rocky III.
No spoilers.
I like how Coby's good at anticipating what's potentiallly going to happen, but it still emotionallly wrapped up in it as it plays out.
Stallone was actually injured while training to shoot Rocky 2. He tore his pectoral muscle on his left, which is real reason that he wrote in the part about Rocky fighting right-handed. The injury hadn't healed yet and fighting right-handed would allow him to rest the injury on the long days of shooting the fight scene.
Rocky movies got so much heart.
Will always be one of my favorite movies.
"Yo adrian, I did it" delivery will forever give me chills
They got heart, but they ain't got no locker. 😉
Who would have thought, the final words in sports/ Boxing movies is 'I love you' for Two Rocky's running.
Pure love story with a bit of boxing thrown in.
Above all else. The Rocky movies are a love story!
Rocky 3/4 are my favorite. Sly has said he hates it when Rocky is called a boxing movie-it’s a love story with boxing in it. Rocky is the best franchise there is💖 I’ve cried at several spots in each Rocky movie. Huge Sly fan
Rest in peace Carl Weathers, there'd be no Rocky without Apollo!
Coby, seeing you get so invested in the fight makes me happy. When you and Adrian were saying, "Get up", knowing what was going to happen, I still said, "You better listen to Coby". Those happy tears you shed got to me, I don't mind admitting. Thank you for another wonderful reaction. Until next time, have a most wonderful day.
Part two for me is the most inspirational movie of all time. Top 10 in my book.
Cobe probably doesn't read the comments but her reaction was so adorably cute.I love how the movies have turned out to be so much more than she thought coming in
She reads the comments 😜
Agreed, it is cute but one has to actually watch the movies and stop trying to guess what's going to happen and talk less....
@@JohnDAmico-ci2hz I agree with some of the predictions but you're not going to get talking less on a reaction channel
@@popcornroulettereactions *Well Thanx 4 tha reply😘*
C’mon Rocky c’mon!
Love, Love, LOVE your Rocky reactions!!! Please, Please, PLEASE keep going thru the entire franchise, I promise you will not regret it!
Rocky 2 & 3 🔥🔥🔥my favs of the series!! R.I.P. Carl Weathers ! Apollo Best Skilled Boxer in the series!!
Dont feel bad. Grown men are crying at the end of this movie.
Me and my sister watched the Rocky movies over and over when we were kids in the 80s. I'll never get tired of rewatching them.
Coby, as someone who has been around the proverbial block, it's easy to see if someone is genuine and real vs. someone who isn't. And even though you are in a profession (acting) that is notorious for phoniness and duplicity, AND living in the mecca of the entertainment capital of the world (Los Angeles/Hollywood), you come across as a VERY down-to-earth person with genuine emotions. And that vocational/personality dichotomy that you possess makes you VERY endearing, which makes you even more attractive than you already are.
If u don’t cry in every Rocky movie then ur not human ! I’ve seen this movie literally 50 times at least in my 55 years and I’ve cried alligator tears every single time. Including this one. Cant wait to come back for 3. Hopefully very soon⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☑️
When Adrian says Win!!! Best movie moment ever!!!
Always been my favourite, and the first Rocky film I ever saw. As you demonstrated, it is even more emotional than the first film. I prefer to think of Rocky and Rocky II as one story, which was the story of how Rocky became champion of the world. Watching the two films back to back is even more moving. And they manage to fit stylistically together, even though one cost less than a million and the other $7 million. Rocky II is definitely cleaner, crisper than the first film.
Great reaction!
Adrian didn't just give him her approval to fight; she told him to "Win! Win!" She never approved of his fighting, but in the first one Rocky just wanted to prove he wasn't a bum. Adrian knew that Rocky needed to win, and that gave Rocky something to shoot for. At the end of the movie Rocky yells, "Yo Adrian, I did it!!" celebrating the fact that he was able to fulfill her request. I love this movie.
The song "Eye of the Tiger" aired in Rocky III.
What a natural beauty this girl is.✨️
when grace meets beauty=art
Without even trying🌟
Love your reactors attitude too.
Definitely a sub
I can't tell you how many times I've seen the Rocky movies (all of them). I still cry. These movies are so well done. I hope you do the rest of them!
this was the best.... everyone thinks all the rocky movies are about boxing. it's really an amazing love story
When Rocky is speaking after the fight, and a voice yells out, "We love ya Rock," and he says "Yeah, I love yous too, ...... that was unscripted. It was one of those spontaneous emotional moments, and it fit so well it stayed in the film.
i can't count how many times i've seen this film, but each and every time on the line " yo adrian i did it!" i tear up every time.
I saw this movie when it came out, I'm 59 now, and I still cry at the end
One of the best sequels ever. Better than the first movie. One thing I'll mention that I hadn't seen anyone else mention yet I think....
The writing.... Did you notice a difference between Rocky and Adrian's personalities? They are acquiring each other's strengths. He's getting smarter and she's having more confidence.
The writing of these two characters is just brilliant. And it's so truthful to how a great relationship should work... Growing together and becoming better from it.
Better than the first? I dont know about that. Almost every scene in Rocky is a classic.
To me, the writing of Rocky and Adrian's homelife was a little silly. It was too soap opera-ish. It's like he was trying to make Love Story in a boxing movie. There was not enough ugly between the two and when a couple gets stressed out over money, they can get ugly.
That's why I think Rocky Balboa is the best Rocky movie after the original. It feels far more natural. Its Rocky that has always been the most fascinating and wonderful part of this franchise. Stallone figured that out when he made Rocky 6 and brought back the magic of Rocky Balboa.
And that speech in Rocky Balboa is possibly the best writing and acting of Stallones career.
@@LukeLovesRose I agree with all of that.
Eye of the Tiger comes in Rocky III. When they (Survivor) were writing the music for the movie, they were rushed and couldn't come up with anything that quickly. They talked Sylvester Stallone into watching the uncut movie to get a feel for what they needed to do. At one point in the movie (and you will see it), Apollo talks about Rocky having "the eye of the tiger". That's stood out and that is how they come up with that song.
No spoilers
❤ So stinking cute Coby. You had all angles covered but Sly got you anyway. Happens to us all, kiddo. Eye of the Tiger
Great reaction, Coby. Dont worry. You aren't alone. These movies elicit tremendous emotion. Glad you love the Rocky movies. They are excellent. Definitely, deserve a sub. Remember, we didn’t have VCR tapes to rewatch the movie at the time. It was years before we saw the sequel.
You have such a super infectiously uplifting and kind hearted spirit lol.
It’s ok to cry at the end of this movie!! Best ending ever
I remember when this movie was being filmed and the call went out over the radio for kids to appear in the movie. All they had to do was show up at the various filming locations (Independence Square, the Ben Franklin Parkway/Art Museum, etc.) and they would be in those scenes following Stallone as he runs. As you could see, a lot of kids (and their parents) responded.
When my father fought professionally in the 50s, my mom said she saw him fight once and that was enough and she couldn't watch again!
"YO ADRIAN, I DID IT!'
Rocky Balboa, 1976.
Actually that line is from Rocky II, 1979
I love the line "and i love you'se too" ❤️
The best movie ever. The best reaction ever. The cutest youtuber in the whole world. You're awesome!!!
R.I.P. APOLLO you were a true champ!
To address some questions:
1.Regarding the kids running up the steps...
My father, who grew up in Philly, said that Rocky ran approximately 10 miles distance from where his home was. However, the way the film is cut is not consistent with locations in sequence.
2. Eye of the Tiger is featured in part 3.
3. Taping of hands in boxing protects the knuckles and the wrists. It is hard. But not "rock hard".
yeah if you go by landmarks.. if it was chronological it would be a 30+ mile run
@@jamespetkwitz8737 neither of you explained that the kids didn't run the same distance that Rocky ran in Rocky 1. And Mr. Collopy, you don't need to tell her Eye of The Tiger is in the next one, let her be surprised when she hears it. Don't you think that would be better?
No spoilers
@zig_zag____1265 that's not a spoiler.
A spoiler is revealing a plot development.
Not a song featured in the movie. And was used in the marketing of said movie.
There is rarely something more beautiful than a first time reaction to Rocky II
We agree!
Your comment @ 15:36 Is spot on, and one of your followers (petok70) said properly, Apollo is a true champ. Coming in and going out. He was more than show; he was fighter with a burning desire.
My entire life...guys like Rocky and Apollo become great friends after years of fighting for fight sake. Respect leads to admiration.
Great reaction, and good health to all.
Give Rocky a little credit with those stairs. That’s the END of a couple mile run that he starts early in the morning. The neighborhood just fills in behind him near the end.
Right .. Rocky is only like his 6th mile while the kids are on their 6th block 🤣
The guy singing at the fire while rocky was carrying adrian home is his brother , frank stallone. 🙂
7:32 the guy (actor) singing at the street fire is Frank Stallone, sly’s brother.
The last three minutes are the greatest three minutes in all cinema.
Rocky 2 and Field of Dreams, best emotional endings in movie history.
Eye of the Tiger came out in 1982 which is the same year Rocky 3 came out. Rocky 1 came out in 1976 and Rocky 2 came out in 1979.
It was written for the movie. So was Burning Heart for Rocky 4.
@@jonlandin2440 I know. Did you notice she kept mentioning Eye of the tiger? That's why I addressed it 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
A lot of 70s-80s sequels began with the last scene of the movie before it. That was back in the day when people didn’t have VCRs or (obviously) streaming video. Many people wouldn’t remember where things left off 3 years prior when they saw the movie in the theater.
13:09 Paulie was just taking over the payments
i love your reactions because how real they are
Who all fell in love with this girl at the end (@37:49) with that wonder and BEAUTIFUL heart melting laugh (her happiness) when Rocky wins? How could you not fall in love with her (WOW - Best part of the movie).
(I know I did)
7:20 Lead singer is Frank Stallone, Sly's brother.
That was a great reaction. The way you were rooting him on at the end, I would have sworn you had money on the fight if I didn't know better. I hope you keep going.
I'm looking forward to the next one.
his movie pulled you right in. Didn't it. I saw these films when they first came out. 'Ive seen this one many times and I still tear up.
That guy who sings by the fires in the street is Stallone’s brother, Frank.
thanks for the reaction, Coby! Love watching you enjoy these movies! Wish you could do more and can't wait for Rocky III!!!
If you cried in Rocky , u will defo cry in warrior
2:09 Eye of the tiger is used for Rocky III - IV
No spoilers

None given, just obvious - expected feature song of next part “Dont melt”
Except for my kid being born, this is the greatest night in history of my life! Yo Adrian!! I did it!!! 😭😭
Great reaction! I truly enjoyed it! I've seen this a hundred times, still gets every single time! ❤😭
It's fun seeing how well the movie still works all these years later. Proves how great they are and how they will last forever.
Get ready for Rocky 3 which is what I believe to be THE BEST in the entire series! Eye of the tiger baby!!!
U were like Adrian watching this.. "Hit him back!"
We all cry in Rocky.
Coby is the real Champ!!
You knew it was coming, & it still got you; a tip of the hat to great writing, score & ….your lovely heart.
Rocky II is great. I remember my mom (RIP) telling me that everyone in the whole audience cheered when he finally beat Apollo.
But to me, Rocky Balboa is the best movie in the franchise since the original. He gives a speech that is the best acting and writing of Stallones career.
“Crying in a boxing movie.” Yup, you get it now. You’re one of us 😊
Yayyyy!!! Was so excited to see you watching this so fast!! Yes!!!! We’re going the distance!!! All six Movies plus Creeds⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Winning isn't everything. It's the journey not the destination.
Good one, Coby! These are really good movies. The last one, Balboa, #6, is my favorite though, Thanks for sharing this one. 🙂
He didn't hold him up at the end of the fight - in some fights (depending on which rules are selected by each boxer's camp), you can be saved by the bell in the last round. The bell saved Apollo from getting knocked out, which is why the reporter asks Apollo "did the bell save you"
Favourite Rocky movies order. 1, 2, 6, 3, 4, 5. And I'm sure others have said but if you are waiting for the movie Eye of the Tiger was written for, you have to wait for Rocky 3.
Don't let the lower order movies stop you. Anything in that list besides the last one I would still watch any time, and that one is probably worth seeing once.
Have you seen First Blood (Rambo)? Sly's other emotionally-charged character. There's some duds in the Rambo movies to my mind, especially Last Blood. But the first one is iconic and personally I also really like Rambo (the fourth movie). Other fun or great Sly movies. The Creed movies (which are follow-ups to Rocky), Demolition Man, Cliffhanger, Cop Land. Plenty more.
So cool seeing a reaction to this from someone not knowing the end, even though you guessed right. Your reactions are fantastic
RIP Carl Weathers aka Apollo. RIP Carl Young aka Paulie
Coby, the prettiest woman there is! Love your reactions!
Great reaction, Coby! Crying is something that a lot of people, who didn't want to watch a "boxing" movie, did anyway! Really enjoyed...even more than the downing of a dozen doughnuts! :)
In the sport of boxing its against the rules to tie each other up. That rule was long forgotten about. I wish they refs would stop it. Loved your commentary.
My parents bungalow home (new construction) in the 60s was 12K ...
In 1979 [well, '76 when this movie takes place], houses were that cheap. Their unaffordable price today has nothing to do with inflation and everything to do with unbridled greed. People still had some scruples back then.
I saw these in the theater as a kid it was like being at Madison square garden. Epic memories
Apollo is a true Champion.
I cry every time at the end
The song, "Eye Of The Tiger," is in Rocky III. It's an 80s song that came out in 1983, like Rocky III did.
No spoilers
@zig_zag____1265 How's that a spoiler? I didn't say anything about the movie. She already knew _"Eye Of The Tiger"_ wasn't in this movie.
Sylvester Stallone has said that it's not a movie about boxing... It's a movie about love.
Great reaction.
"Yo Adrian, I did ti"! Its almost imposible dont cry.
Great reaction, you seem so genuine! thanks for keeping me company while I work from home :)
That was Rocky’s real baby!
“Oh man, crying about a boxing movie!” We’ve all been there, said that, us guys as well 😜
Some trivia for you, the group of guys singing around the barrel the guy in the middle with the leather jacket and the fro is Frank Stallone Sylvester's brother
The singers on the corner around the burn barrel featured Sylvester’s real life brother Frank Stallone
BEST REACTION TO ROCKY 1 & 2 EVER!!!
The hand wraps are layers of cotton textile covered in athletic tape. It's done to protect the fighter's hands from injury. The wraps are inspected before the fight by the boxing commission overseeing the bout to make sure the wraps are legal.
There have been cases of fighters illegally using plaster and other foreign objects to increase the damage done. Mickey talks about this in the first movie when one of his opponents had used a nail in the thumb of the glove
I knew the ending of this one would get to you Coby, it's a cheerful tearjerker:-) Movies like this were made for people like you, it's a joy watching your reactions girl..... still plenty of good stuff ahead...😊
