These resurrection contests always go harder than the normal sls
prolly cause everyone is just having fun no pressure for scores and trying to inch ahead lol
Such a great concept
yeah they do
First session is too 🔥
this is what the skaters wanna see lol
Let’s be honest if The Berrics did something like this it would have had a month long ad campaign. Thank you SLS for just putting out solid content in a timely manner.
Yeah... this is my format. Thrasher always comes through, but the death metal quick edits are getting tired. My War is always sick though. Berrics has been a bust for years.
Haha so true
🙌🙌🙌
And then shamelessly sell off pieces of rubble to leech every penny from the poorly educated. Vile
And thank you for being honest
I love Beagle so god damn much. Man is actually the Bob Ross of skateboarding. Protect him at all cost!
YEH
Hell Yeah! Beagle is the best!

💯
Baker 4 life
Man Jhoncarlos is skating this like Braden skated Hubba Hideout. Everything within 3 tries and just tore it up. That gap wall ride just sealed it for him. That was an epic contest.
Dude was absolutely shredding that spot such a good run 🔥🔥
He landed everything within 2 tries. So fucked up
he literally went off the wall..
Beagle is so seasoned he just bent his ankle to avoid the board 8:20
thank you so much for this
30:45 more seasoned footy
@@onetwotrippz207the smooth af turkey escape straight into the solid pound. Legendary
Meanwhile Nyjah gets a board to the shin. Lmao that's the difference between them in a nutshell
Gotta have the hi tops on dog
Man this contest was crazy, really hope there's more in the future 🙏
Right! Too bad Carlsbad gap is no more.
@@eneyeseekayI have a feeling Carlsbad gap will be the next one.
@@NittyGritty420 either that or El Toro I think
@@cohngo Gonz gap would be cool
Nyjah getting shinned and everyone laughing a bit feels so wholesome 💀
Do you maybe have the timestamp of when he gets the shinner for me?
@@David-bf7rk 31:11
haha yea Instant karma
Bro shows up in flops and still gets hurt😂. I love skateboarding
dude.... i straight up have NO IDEA how decenzo is still jumping like he does at his age i think hes 37 man. thats absolutely incredible smh
I’m 39 and skated bank on Monday and today is Thursday and still can’t walk straight 😂😂😂 … he’s a different breed for sure
Just focusing on my fingerboarding and art now. Which is a lot of fun .
I’d go as far as saying he’s going harder and skating better then he ever has, bros basically the Canadian Reynolds 🤷♂️ not that Reynolds is better now then when he was younger, they just skate very similar, and very similar bag of tricks
Yeah! Thats unbelievable! How is he still doing this?! And he looks so controlled and effortless. I am the same age and had my gap/stair years at the beginning of my 20s. I still feel my injuries to this day and avoid impact skating as much as i can. (; He is really a different breed. The contest was mindblowing. How in this world are these guys landing their trick within few tries on a 15 stair rail? That blew my mind! Keep on the great content!
..smh but yea idek decenzo ain’t playin lol
So dope seeing how quickly skaters land tricks when the homies are there to back each other up! 👊🏾
I know this is said too often but I'm literally mind blown at the tricks going down here with 1-2 tries. Insane level of shredding
I just said the same thing... Im older. Im 41 seeing how much skating has progressed is mind blowing. The fact that my era of skate heros that are now legends makes me really appreciate the mid 90s style even more. And the sht Kosten was doing, Kareem, Santos, The list goes and goes.
that's gotta be one of the best spot replicas ever made
This session is so sick. Got the crew dropping hammers and hyping each other up. Shout out to Beagle for being a legend✌️
I wish this is what actual street league was, just a different legendary spot or even some cool new spot every time
Gabe’s hardflip was the catch of the day!
Was so perfect!!
I went into this video hoping someone would hardflip it. Man that was beautiful.
Best SLS I’ve watched. These resurrection vids are sick! This one was especially wholesome.
^the perfect comment!
Let's keep these going. Resurrection party session contests are a nice contrast to the normal sls contests.
Such a great event! More of these, please!
Have Beagle for all of the resurrections dude. So Hype and fun watch this contest, and then hearing his reactions.
It really is a testament to all these guys that they could land their tricks within a few tries, and also even when they bail, they aren't getting broke off. Much respect is due to everyone.
Dude...never stop recreating these spots PLEASE ! I cant express how sick it is to see what modern day skaters can do on classic spots that are no longer able to be skated. The nostalgia alone makes me love it.
Right! Just like Begale said, skating keeps elevating! Truly awesome to see this sport and others advance with human revolution and just the once unthinkable to unfold!
Whoever came up with the idea to not only replicate legendary spots, but also make a contest format around it deserves MAD props. what a fucking amazing idea
SLS, you outdid yourselves this time. You keep doing these, and you will keep making the skate community happy.
Agreed 100%... more of this, please.
Man that dude wallride is sick he was hungry for sure
Too insane. Keep doing the resurrection series. I vote Carlsbad gap next
Then El Toro
I was going to say Carlsbad and then Love gap
@@thirdvisiongarage9148 love gap would be epic
This was completely insane. Best ever. Thank you! What a show man sheeesh
Beagle is the man
Jhan Carlos!!! El mejor!! He’s a beast and and is in his own zone!! thanks for this Sls do more
The level of skating is absolutely insane it’s hard to even accept that this is really happening
thank you for putting this together, such a good vibe. 10/10 session.
To say you don’t know which one is harder is cap. Ryan is so underrated. Clearly every skater knows going over the handrail is way more buck. Johnny is sick af too. Love seeing him rep ‘eS.
Sometimes I forget Ryan is 37. Hes not slowing down at all.
It’s kinda the same though. And Johnny was trying it first.
Staying to one side makes the stairs narrow with limited angles of approach for a frontside flip. If you go over the rail it opens up the natural angle of attack for a fs flip while also removing the space restriction of a narrow stair set. The added difficulty of going over was minor compared to the added benefits in my opinion. If his normal fs flip will clear the rail every time then why does he have to worry about it being in his way. Get that pesky rail out of the way by going over it. (this theory does not apply with most tricks or Rails)
Wiltshire was not ready for all that
Front 270 front feeble was jacked
Switch crook next level
Backside wall ride mind blowing
Nollie backside flip
sw 270
im 14 mins in and i can say with confidence this is in the top 5 most heavy street competitions ever wtfffff
The first 15 minute session was one of the craziest 15 minutes I’ve ever seen in any skate contest ever. Hammer after hammer 🤯🤯🤯
Thanks for doing this can't stop coming back to watch this again. So many heavy tricks back to back
The future of skating looks very bright 🔥
This was so dope. Seriously wouldn’t mind Wilshire 15 being a recurring spot/event. Beagle’s hype made this even more enjoyable to watch.
That was absolute insanity. We need a lot more of this. So great!
such a solid selection of skaters and tricks thrown down. Love these contests 🎉
Absolutely blows my mind how good these guys are. So sick! Such a great idea to bring back spots.
Love this series, sooo many spots to legalize or bring back to life
Thank you for putting this straight to youtube!
This was such a success. Perfectly made and so many great tricks went down. What an amazing turnout
This is such a sick event! PLEASE keep the resurrection contests going! Love SLS!
I absolutely love what SLS is doing for our sport.
Thanks for everything. ❤
Dude the energy for this sesh was off the charts. Everybody was just landing stuff back to back. So many incredible tricks going down at such a legendary spot.
This was such a beautiful competition. Full of love and positivity. Insane tricks went down and love the Cameo guests.
Love these resurrection contests - also love Malto's arc rn, such a great vibe for a host
Skateboarding is the fucking BEST! All these guys are so incredible...and it ends with the essence of skateboarding when one guy comes in to hype up the other and they both do sick tricks! Awesome event!
Love these events and the vibes, I liked skating spots in as a jam vibe when I did, feels like a concentrated dose of the true essence of skateboarding. I applaud all involved 👏🏽 . ✌🏽
Dudeeee, what!!! This was the best contest I’ve ever seen, beyond epic. This is how contests should be done!! Lets gooo SLS thank you for this one
one of the coolest skate series i've seen in a minute
Love this resurrection series. Connecting the skaters today to the historic spots and skaters that pioneered the sport is great for skateboarding. More of this, thank you.
The Nostalgia was insane! Never thought some of these tricks were even possible down Wilshire but skateboarding will never stop persevering! Such a sick contest and everyone ripped! My fave was the Nollie back bigspin lip!
Absolute 10 out of 10. Thank you so much for this. Keep them coming!!
These contest are so special man. Nothing else like it!
Great event! Fun to watch! First session was gnarly! Great job SLS. Look forward to the next one!
Skate videos are the only videos that I smile all the way through them
these capture the essence of skateboarding like no other contest ever could, seshing a spot with the homies, getting hyped on each other landing tricks and feeding off each others energy.
Bro Felipe entrance at the end is EPIC !! 🔥🔥
Wow this was an incredible contest. The level and consistency of tricks is mind boggling.
Seeing footage of Wiltshire at night is so atmospheric compared with other spots
Absolutely amazing. This spot featured heavily in pro skate parts while I was a teenager - amazing to see the young bloods absolutely tear it up!
As a dude that grew up on baker 2G and baker 3 I really like this. Thanks SLS
THAT WAS NUTS! All BANGERS! Everyone KILLED IT
Amazing session, skateboarding's level in 2023 is so crazy. Big props to SLS, MOB Grip and Accelerator Active Energy for putting together this legendary format.
That switch 180 front feeble was the best trick imo. The idea of stopping that rotation on a rail, especially a rail that big, is mind boggling. Anyone whose tried it knows how the rail will keep pushing your rotation going.
Sls resurrection is insane. Thanks to everyone involved!
Such a sick contest. Props to all of the skaters!
This is one of the best Skate-Content I‘ve seen in a while, so sick 🤙🏻
Man SLS Dropping back to back bangers🤍 prelims , finals, now this yo keep it comin
Yes, Definitely DEFINITELY NEED to do another one of These "Resurrection" Vid's in the NEAR Future! Theyre friggin Gnarly AF!!!💯💯💯💯💯
That's awesome to see modern level skateboarding on legendary spots! Plz do the same with Carlsbad or El Toro ;)
Crazy to think that what once was an epic trick down a huge stair is considered a "basic trick" or warmup today....
Carlsbad for sure
the skill is unreal man, fkn gnar to watch these lads pop off like this
This is so rad! SLS has so much potential!!! Can’t wait to see it
That Formate ist soo the coolest Thing ever. Rebuilding iconic spots that are closed for skating by now.
Keep on doing this.
Can't wait to See the Carlsbad Gap
Wow that was incredible honestly 🤯everyone killed it 🔥!
This format is the BEST! Timed runs in a normal contest is almost unwatchable compared to this. This is sick!
Damn, this was waaaaayy better than any SLS contest, I watched every second. I was hoping Nyjah would have skated but I have mad respect that he has a cat.
Best video concept ever. I love the energy of this vidéo
This was insane! So many NBDs went down. The nollie barley grind is nuts.
We need more of these!
Wow, what a legendary event!
This is probably the gnarliest session to ever go down
Keep em coming! This is a sick series!
See this is what skateboarding needs and always have, jus old school jam contests, all good fun, homes jus vibing and skating
This was beyond AWESOME
There’s a couple thrasher stair jams I’ve seen recently too. Badass format. Love it. Kinda more exciting than a comp
Love these. Whoever thought up this idea, genius.
Back in 1998, my dream as a young skater, 16 yrs old, was to build a park, but build it all as re-creations of the best spots at that time. Always thought that’d be the coolest skate park ( if done correctly ofcourse )
This has to be one of the great moments in skateboarding, it really encompasses the elite level and quality of the best in world, but also puts the togetherness and inclusion that we skateboarders give to each other freely because of our mutual love of our sport!
Yeah dude, I feel the same. So much consistency, and everyone skating at such a high level. Pretty incredible.
This was better than the contest actually…good vibes, good skating, good times.
holy cow man. I haven't been that stoked on skating in awhile. .
This format is rad! Feels like a session with the homies or a local comp. Also Beagles positivity so damn contagious! 🤘
Dude. Holy. These guys are RIDICULOUS.
This was sick. Wondering what spot people would be interested to see next. I can’t help but have Carlsbad come to my mind.
What a great idea. Also, that hardflip was amazing.
I started skating in 2003 and I never imagined the sport getting to where it is now. The fact that we have the cash in the industry to rebuild Wilshire for a night is incredible. Like a dream come true. And to have real heads like Beagle there to set the vibe - I give this event high marks. Very entertaining stuff.
This is of the craziest events I've ever seen! This squad is beyond, wtf?!?
I hope these resurrections become a regular staple of SLS. Everyone was having a blast, everyone pushing each other to go big.
Shout out to the homies.
This was so siiiiiick! SLS, simply the best!
Couldnt have gotten a better judge than beagle! He should be the judge/commentator for every skate event!
