''Gee, it's kinda dark in here...'' ''Did you bring a light, Kirby? I'm scared...'' ''No...? Oh, wait, there's a giant light bulb here! Maybe that can help!'' A new twist on an old classic, indeed! And yeah, the track itself has such a unique feel to it that I love.
@@jclkaytwo Cue Bandana Waddle Dee just giving Kirby and Elfilin a ''I'm right HERE, guys'' look. He might not have a flashlight on him, and neither do any captured Waddle Dees in the area...

fuck yes it wasnt just me. ngl i think the developers gave the light flash that sound SPECIFICALLY because of how well it fits with both this theme and the one in the canyon
There was a Planet Robobot level theme I thought was referencing an Egg Engines theme from Return to Dream Land but I’m not sure so I know the feeling.
It's a remix of the main theme of the game which contains the triumphant return theme from superstar which is also remix din triple deluxe That's as far as I can guess
Eek, Ghosts! Seriously. This Place Is Haunted. (Plays during the dark parts of 3-3, The Most Haunted-est-er-est House Ever!) - Waddle Dee of the Stars: Discovery!
not sure how right i am about all this, but i love the usage of the seemingly old synthesizers in this track, it’s fitting for the aesthetic that this level’s going for, with all it’s bleeps and bloops, and the Yamaha DX7(?) electric piano.
every time i play the game even after I 100% it when i here this song im talkin back to the night were i first heard it. was was jumping at every shadow every move. this song gave me NIGHTMARES... and yet i love it....
Day 32 of the haltin days This place is even more haunted! Everything is dark and there's a lot of fenceless spots where you can fall into, but of course the non-entertaining ghosts love this place. This area has been freed from corruption (the corruption involving slavery), next stop will be a place full of mechanisms in the dark that are currently turned off
The theme of getting up in the middle of the night to get a snack from the kitchen armed only with a cheap flashlight...
You close the fridge door and Soul Forgo's nasty undeveloped fetus-ass self is just fucking floating right behind it
Yea
Sillydillo is in your house...
It's crazy how they manage to slip the major leitmotifs of this game into so (so) many places, and make it have such a unique feel every time!
In space, no one can hear you "Poyo!"
They somehow managed to make a darkness level that doesn't suck, that's how you know this game is great
I love the way they made the main leitmotif, usually so cheery and joyful, into nightmare inducing
This really has a Octoling vibe to it somehow
i thought the same thing no clue why
I can totally see that. It's got that same spooky, dark tone to it, especially with the arcade-like chiptune bits.
It actually sounds like something that could play in an Octo Expansion level.
oh it does!! that’s nice, combining my two favourite franchises together :)
it sounds like dedf1sh made it for some creepy octo expansion level

God I can hear it in the Hotel Mario voices perfectly
maybe a waddle dee can lend us his! if we... persuade him...

If you weren't mashing the light button to the beat the entire level you played it wrong

LEGIT
I tried but I have no sense of rhythm
Wait… I should do that. I can’t believe I played it entirely wrong the first time… this should be corrected.
This is textbook eerie and I can’t get enough of it
this one and the distorted one are creepy. this should have been the song for the main boss. or discovering the main boss that is.
it sounds so different to a kirby game. thats why its cool
Why is this like the only song from the soundtrack not on Spotify? It’s a genuine banger
Okay it might just be me but I swear this song has a leitmotif of something from Triple Deluxe. I can’t prove it but I feel like it is in there.

Are you mad?
Amazing game with amazing music
People when they first discover Kirby: aw so cute!

This used to scare me a little bit when i first played Kirby And The Forgotten Land But Only At The Start
This is like the Kirby version of Fakery Way from Sonic Adventure in that it's a creepier section of a theme park level.
Sounding like Terraria music
I know right

Especially from 1:18 on, we get those signature chiptune synths...very reminiscent of that game.
