- The wonderful folks at Triumph kindly invited me to a killer sesh in the Welsh mountain ranges, on the Triumph Adventure Experience. Blistering heat reaching 33°c, and 10 riders in total. Such a variety of dudes and dudettes, from worldwide female adventurers, to ex special forces from Channel 4's SAS Who Dare's Wins. Sharing the whole day with Henry Crew too, was badass! (youngest rider to circumnavigate the globe on a motorcycle) I followed his 55,000 mile journey, and it was insane! Blown away by how much I learned though, and how incredible Matt's tuition was. Wealth of knowledge and an excellent communicator. Honed in on my weaknesses, and I was sending bikes sideways by the end of the day. Amazing. Will be returning 100%!

We both came away singing the Tiger 900's praises, it really blew me away to be honest, as a Scrambler 1200 owner for over 2 years, I cant believe how confidence inspiring it is, a light front end, really flickable. Doesn't feel like you're riding a tank at all, handles everything you throw at it! Already sliding into Triumph's DM's and will be getting one to play on over an extended period, I cannot wait!

Great video! What's the difference between the tiger and the 1200xc when riding off road? I know tiger 900 is a better bike for that, but is the 1200xc that far behind?

Dude, looked like you a killer day! Those Tiger 900's are an absolute bit of kit, im going back to the TAE in october hope to try one out offroad myself, and if i get weather like you had... cannot wait. You reckon you could have a 900 over your scram?? Because I find myself thinking about that... alot. :D
Yes mate! It was genuinely one of the sickest days I've had on a bike! Learned so much in the time, Matt was a don. Honestly dude, the Tiger 900 is something else.. it really did blow my mind. I don't know whether I could have one over the Scram, but as an addition, 100%! Hopefully got something saucy in the pipeline with Triumph, regarding these Rally Pros, so stay tuned! 🤙🏼
Still mega impressed with the 900's off road capability, I found it to be considerably better than the Scram, more confidence inspiring, and the front end was lighter, overall so flickable. Just the weight distribution. I was ripping it through the rubble, tearing up shit I never thought I would on an adv bike! Powersliding too! Whacking it in Off Road Pro seemed daunting, but it came into its own and I felt at one with it. You'll see in October mate! Fill me in and make sure you let me know how you find it dude! 🤞🏼 for ace weather, 33°c was too much! 😅
That looks like a LOT of fun. How did you find the XE compared to your XC off-road? Also, 1.30 looks like you were seriously close to the action 😅
