Are you ever going to bring this to the USA?
I feel that if you offer this, you can show the capabilities of your bikes to potential buyers. I own a 900RP and would do these classes in a heartbeat. Already took a course with Shaw Thomas and am scheduled for a course with Brett Tkacs next March.

When is this coming to the US?

    • @glenhardy4770
      @glenhardy4770 3 года назад

Purely my opinion but I believe this activity will not come to the United States because it would be too costly for the average Triumph owner / Triumph Corporation.

@@glenhardy4770 Thats not true. This is intended for Tiger owners. When you spend close to 20K on a Tiger, you can easily spend 1K on training if you are serious about off-road.
They can show RC do the jumps and crazy stuff on the 1200. Most 1200 owners wont take them off-road, still training is good to have.
BMW operates at a big level here. They have their own facility and run tie ups with several off-road training centers like RawHyde. Plus there are several others not connected with OEMs like Dragoo. I am attending a pvt session at the BMW performance center in Nov. Cost me 1.1K and I dont even have a BMW.
Triumph does little to no marketing in the US. Even demo trucks are rare and first time I am seeing them at IMS.

@@glenhardy4770 Triumph USA HQ is in my hometown of Atlanta and mountainous land start just 50 miles north of us. BMW already runs popular on and off-road road school courses in our neighboring state NC. The standard of living is better in the states so the average Tiger owner will have more disposable income for such training.

@@ajojoseph6052 You can say “not true” all day long, it does not make it not true. It has been 13 hours plus, and I do not see Triumph messaging you to tell you when their people are coming to any location in the United States to accept your estimated $1k for some off-road guidance. And bringing Bavarian Motor Werks into this discussion is irrelevant. They are from Deutschland, not England. No disrespect meant towards anyone, I am just pointing out what is obvious to me. The plates on the bikes were of the United Kingdom, or possibly Europe. Enjoy your BMW experience. 😀

Truimph Tiger needs the new triple engine 170 horsepower.
With chain, and 17 inch wheels for touring on street. The Tiger is to heavy.
Right now it's to heavy and not anough horsepower. Drive shaft is lame, to heavy and looks horrible. Needs a chain to make lighter and look cooler.
WE WANT A SPORT TOURING MOTORCYCLE!!!!
    17 inch mag rims.

Personally I think Sport Touring as a terrible category bike. They don't know what they want to be, and terrible at sport and touring. Get a sport bike, or get a touring/adventure bike. Personally, I love drive shafts - reliable and durable.

    • @ajojoseph6052

The sport touring class is being revived as we speak. Suzuki and Honda just announced brand new products in this class.
BMWs held on to this class while Triumph exited fully. Remember they had the Trophy back in the day. The Speed Triple platform can be adapted. If the Tiger 660 sport is any indication, we will likely see a larger sport touring version.
