I don t think this is concludent because of the temperature of the oil. You have to be close to the temperature that the engine will run. At this temperature you ll run only for a few seconds. Thats it. Just an opinion . Please share your toughts
Silly test. You are doing these tests at room temperature. Your oil runs at close to 100 degrees C.
Shear strength test is very important. The heat affects are nil if shear measures up.
Liqui moly is the best oil among all types...i used for 17 years ago till now no any problems...and i will never try any oil yet

Test oils on high temps... Thats trick, not test. I ve seen oils in room temps to be much worst after been heated due to enginge stress. LM is very good but Motul is much better...
Fake video 1,35 runs oil together...and 1,36 the oils big difference just 1 second.. 1,35-1,36 look the video stop and start again..Redline and amsoil the best oil ever..I have 20vt engine on my car and 670 ps the mystake is change oil ever 5000-7000km and your car run for much years..

Motul semi synthetic oil cut my engine heat in half on my Yamaha FJ1200 air and oil cooled motorcycle.
My engine on Castrol would heat up and shut the engine off. And I was stranded in traffic. Motel it never shut off.

From personal experience, I have felt Motul operate smoother than liqui moly. I did use the 5W-40 variant because the vehicle used is a German automobile, Mercedes Benz CLA 250. Both lubricants work very well and are worth the money. Can't wait to see where this series goes. I personally love Valvoline but the competition is only getting more fierce. Thank you for these oil test.

NATES INTERACTIVE AUTO Valvoline 0w20 synthetic is garbage. I tested it. In Kentucky they make better moonshine. 👍
Hey friend. I have skoda octavia 1.9tdi diesel 2006 clocked 1 lac kms on odo. I recently used mobil1 0w40 fully synthetic has vw 502 and 505 approvals. Its good oil. But 5w40 is recommended .so can you please tell me which 5w40 vw 505 01 is best brand for skoda 1.9tdi diesel?

Why did you use the VW Specific Motul oil over a xclean or xgen of the same weight? just a bit curious as the LiquidMoly one was a multi vehicle oil from what I can see

You should include cold pour tests (below zero Fahrenheit) & also how much burns off when heated super hot. Living in Chicago we had a -59 day this past winter so cold performance is huge to me.

Interesting comparo. Thanks for posting. Suggestion: for the flow test, a better experiment to rule out cap orifice differences (don't assume they are identical) would be to swap containers and run the test again.

I am watching this test and in the light of my experience with car mechanics, this test does not prove anything. The engine produces so many different physical conditions during operation, which cannot be even 10 percent transferred to the test shown. As evidenced by the speed of oil flowing from the menzurka... about nothing.

These experiments are completely ridiculous since the conditions in the car engine and what you are doing - have nothing to do with each other. I suggest in the next experiment to fry fish. From an airline pilot.

Don't use Imperial measurements! All chemistry tests are done in SI units. For weight use Grams! Oz is cumbersome! Why bother with hundredths of an Oz when you can use whole numbers for grams!
The Bearing scar test has absolutely NO correlation with internal engine wear and is an invalid test for wear protection in a motor oil. Once the bearing is scarred the oil has failed. So, the load being applied is excessive for the material under test and not relate-able to components in a modern engine. You viscosity test just shows which lubricant has a lower viscosity at the tested temperature. Some engine would respond to less and other to a greater viscosity - so there would be no clear winner here. I see someone trying to model his channel after another successful huckster on the Tube and ring the cash register. I wish you good fortune nonetheless.

@@WISHBONEL7 European oil must meet the Manufacturer's Approval Like: Porsche A40 , VW508 or MB 229.51 or BMW LL01. That means it already meets a high Standard Nothing much YOU can do other than run the oil in your vehicle and monitor Fuel mileage, engine noise and consistent power production from low end pull to high RPM passing power. You can also have a lab run a Used Oil Analysis like CAT or Blackstone but that will cost 30-40 bucks. Cheers! - Sandy

I saw on other channel amsoil won while motul n liquid moly did not make to the final. There is another channel showed that motul beat liquid moly. Who knows.
Test only on how fast u can drink oil :D. This test says nothing. U should test it in -30C and then on +100C all the frictions, and most important is to test how strong is oil's skin during the friction.
How about when the oil get 210 F and up, that cause wears when oil loose the viscosity on hot engine
Just don't do 4 ball wear unless you're testing for an ohc. But as for abrasion testing the ASTM D4060 is usually what people want to see but I like the ASTM D1894 better. ASTM G77 is a better test than the D4060, IMO But let me back up..I don't think there's going to be 10,000 miles of distance better overall as long as the oil you use for your application is the specified weight and API rating. People are too wrapped up in a brand when how often they service and the quality of the filtration is probably more important.

Subaru's are known for using/evaporating oil between changes, can I know how much oil u added between changes?
@@ANDREWSAMY562 My Stock 2011 WRX with 75k miles uses not a drop of oil, Oil doesn't evaporate, it get's burn't. One of the side effects if your piston rings are wornout because the owners didn't do frequent enough oil changes, or the vehicle was modified. The main reason I keep mine stock.

Does this motul 2100 eco good enoght? Or better change it to moly 5w 40? Another question, does the castrol 5w 40 edge better than moly and motur. Thank you.
Motul eco is their entry stuff/ or cheaper. Better go for motul x-cress since it could handle better in high heat and it’s their fancier stuff. I wanna see a heat stress test on motul and pennzoil platinum 😬
Stay away from anything that has eco in its name if you want good performance. Motul 2100 eco is their entry level oil and maybe its good for its price but definitely not a good oil that would protect your engine
