  • Here are several strategies you can use to manage these feelings and prevent going blank:
    ✅ Prepare yourself thoroughly-
    1. Research the Company and Role:
    - Understand the company’s mission, values, and recent news.
    - Know the job description inside out and identify key skills required.
    2. Practice Common Interview Questions:
    - Rehearse answers to common interview questions like “Tell me about yourself”, “What are your strengths and weaknesses?, “Tell me about a time you failed”, “describe a time when you worked in a team,”, why do you want to work here?, where do you see yourself in 5 years?
    - Use the CARL method (Context, Action, Result, Lesson) for behavioral questions.
C - Context - Background Information - What was the situation and what were you asked to do?
A - Action - What steps or actions did you take to resolve the situation?
R - Result - What was the outcome of your actions?
L - Lesson - What was the key takeaway from the situation?
    3. Practice Mock Interviews:
    - Practice with a friend, family member, or mentor.
    - Consider recording yourself to review your answers and body language. Send the recording to your friends, professors, or anyone you trust to get feedback. . They can point out areas where you can improve, such as clarity of answers, posture, eye contact, or tone of voice.
The more you practice, the more comfortable and confident you'll become in real interviews.
    ✅ During the interview:
    - Take deep breaths before and during the interview to calm your nerves.
    - Pay close attention to the interviewer’s questions.
    - If you don’t understand a question, don’t hesitate to ask for clarification.
    - It’s okay to take a moment to think before answering a question.
    - If you truly can’t think of an answer, you can redirect to a related topic you’re comfortable discussing, showing your knowledge and skills in a different area.
But if you still find yourself going blank, you can say something like, “That’s a great question. Let me take a moment to think about it.”
➡️ You can also try to refocus, because sometimes rephrasing the question can help trigger your memory.
For example, “Are you asking about my experience with project management?”
    That’s all.
Following these strategies will help you manage your anxiety and perform more confidently in your interviews.
