I had just recently discovered the music of Jefferson Airplane/Jefferson Starship, which I grew to love. That particular Loverboy concert made a profound impression on me being a Jewish kid from West Texas and later California ( L.A/Hollywood), my having been raised on Classical and Baroque music. Afterwards, I went to see Styx live and was blown away. A whole round of '80s music, followed by Nirvana, Pearl Jam, STP, etc, I'VE BEEN ROCKING EVER SINCE...
Good times for rock!
First band I ever saw in concert, Hollywood Fl, had to ride in the back of a truck on a highway for an hr plus late at night, was freezing, will never forget it! I was only 14. It was an awesome venue. I went to so many more concerts after that experience.
