Original airdate: 2-25-63
This dramatic episode of the series begins when Christine Massey (Loretta Young) visits her publisher's office in New York City for a promised surprise celebration. Instead she discovers that Paul Belzer (played by James Philbrook) suffers an ulcer attack that puts him near death in the local hospital.
Also in the cast is Allen Emerson, playing Belzer's assistant Doug. Emerson was born on March 4, 1925 in Brooklyn, New York, as Allen H. Epstein. He was known for appearances in That Girl (1966), Bewitched (1964) and Get Smart (1965). He died on August 23, 2007 in Selma, Alabama
Barbara Drew plays Paul Belzer's office manager, Julia. Drew was born on February 11, 1916 in Canal Zone, in Panama. She was an actress known for appearing in films like Some Like It Hot (1959), The Rebel Set (1959), and Matinee Theatre (1955). She was married twice, to Louis Lubin and to Worthington Hipple. She died on September 17, 2001 in Irvine, California, from complications from a stroke.
The part of Belzer's hospital nurse is portrayed by Ann Morrison. Morrison was born on February 15, 1916 in Los Angeles, California, as Anna Mae Parrott. She was known for The Brothers Karamazov (1958), One Step Beyond (1959) and My Pal Gus (1952).
She was married to Frank Harford, the piano player who was hired to play during her Sunday radio show poetry readings. Her husband also wrote songs with Tex Ritter. Morrison died on April 18, 1978 in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles.
Trivia fact: Ann Morrison tested but didn't get the part of "Mrs. Olsen" in the Folgers coffee commercials from the 1970s. Instead, that part was cast with Virginia Christine.

Ms Young and her trademark entrance through the doors in her fabulous wardrobe and hair style . A most glamorous grandmother . She was about fifty years old here .
The doors are the only thing I remember about the show.
My mother must have watched the show.
NO!! DO EXPECT MIRACLES👍👍👍; GOD IS OMNIPOTENT ALL CAPABLE & SPECIALIZING IN MIRACLES ✨💜❤️👍. AMEN
"Well you eat it and shut up"
🤣🤣🤣
She must’ve studied ballet 💜💜💜
If Loretta had gray/silver hair in this episode she’d look just like she did in the 1980’s movie Christmas Eve. Did she ever age?
That's some bedside manner!
Loretta's only opening gown I didn't like. 😁
