Loretta Young plays another duel role in this episode of Christine’s Children, also called The New Loretta Young Show.
Christine is rearranging furniture with several of her older children when she comes across an old manuscript written by her late husband. She begins reading it to her children. It's the story of a woman known as Diana Wellington who is kidnapped by a Middle Eastern sheik. Soon, In a flashback, Christine imagines herself as that mysterious woman.
Edmund Hashim plays the part of Sheik Ahmed. Hashim was born in 1932 in Massachusetts, known for appearances in Hellfighters (1968), The Green Hornet (1966), Tales of Welles Fargo, Wagon Train, The Untouchables, Gunsmoke, Perry Mason, Get Smart and many other popular series of the era.
Hashim died on July 2, 1974 in New York City.
Patrick Westwood portrays the character of Ramadan. Westwood was born on December 10, 1924 in Kingswinford, West Midlands, England and is known for his work on The Crime of the Century (1956), The Indian Tales of Rudyard Kipling (1963) and Space: 1999 (1975). In all, he has 107 film and TV credits to his name.
Westwood was married to Viola Merrett. He died on April 21, 2017 in Putney, London, England (age 92).

The opening entrance is even more grand than was previously the case with the earlier show. Such an entrance really became her trademark. She showed both the front and back of the dress at the request of her dress designer who felt her designs were not being fully appreciated with just a frontal view. That is how according to Loretta Young in one of her later interviews this famous entrance came about.

Thanks for sharing and I'm happy to see a little story again, though I do like Christine Massie & family too; but these espisodes especially this one is clearly written by a man, as women don't and wouldn't faint under extreme stress...otherwise they couldn't be capable of childbirth or multitasking ;-).
