    Regarding the battery, it is the same as the Godox V1. Here's a link if you want to check out that light as well: amzn.to/2N2otXI

    Love my AD 200 with the round head attachment for real estate. Best of both worlds.

    Put a handle on the 100 and keep it as a back up with my speed light if I need some extra juice for my run and guns.
    Speedlite I use works as a transmitter for the 100

    Thanks for the review. Just bought a 2nd ad200pro when this flash was announced. I definitely think it was the right decision based on versatility and portability of those 2 lights.

    Nice video again Nathan.
    I bought AD400 and asked you about the flash trigger but maybe you couldn't catch it.
    I bought your book #1 but still there was a question.. but now it's okay.
    Finally I just bought Cactus V5 used, and have similar setting with yours.
    YN trigger is not going well with X2 pro, so I bought Cactus V5, even it's discontinued.

    Thanks, this answered my question and confirmed my suspicions. The AD100 not really for me.

    love my ad100, i dont need that much of a power since im a natural light photographer but inside a room lit with only dj lights ad100 is a perfct light to give me a bit of bump on ambient lights.. plus portablility is a big factor too

    I weighed my options quite a bit and from your videos and others I decided on two 200's with an assortment of heads and modifiers. Have you used the B2 head that combines two 200s into a Bowens mount? I'd be curious your thoughts from a real estate perspective.

  • @caseyhartman7094

    I like the magnetic mount for modifiers. Will the V1 control the AD 100 or 200 or does it require its own transmitter?

    The price difference between a speed light with a magmod system and the ad100, makes the ad100 a head scratcher, for me.

  • @mdhazeldine
    @mdhazeldine 3 года назад +9

    Seems very overpriced for the amount of power it puts out. I like the accessories, but you can also use them with the V1 and the AD200 with the round head can't you?

    The real question for me is; what kinds of light stands are those? I need some good, sturdy, strong but lightweight lightstands and those seem to fit the bill.

    Hello Nathan your real estate editing tutorials are awesome and very helpful. Thanks a lot for that.
    I wanna ask you use lightroom presets for final touch up after editing in photoshop. Can you please tell me where I can buy or download those presets.

    hi, does one transmitter work with all light?

    • @NathanCoolPhoto
      @NathanCoolPhoto  3 года назад +1

      Yes, and no, depending on what lights you use. Search my RUclips channel for "triggers" and you'll see a variety of videos that talk about how to use them, which ones to use, and how to avoid AWB problems that some can cause.

    Hi Nathan,
    I’m looking through your videos and can’t find anything about tripods for virtual tours. I’m looking for used tripod and I get my eyes on Velbon 7000, Manfrotto 055XDB, K&F Concept S210 (it weights only 1,5 kg but can hold up to 7 kg, is it to light to be enough stability?).
    Can you recommend any of those? Or maybe something else? I have 100$ for tripod that’s why I’m looking at used.

      This is a bit off topic for this thread/video, but I have a DIY video on pano heads where this might be best answered, take a look at ruclips.net/video/BIBMEk5zgvo/видео.html

    How do you trigger your camera & flash remotely??
    I have a Sony camera and Ive been using the xPro trigger with the AD200, but to trigger the camera I use a separate camera remote - which SUCKS!
    I tried using the Sony app, but it has limited features, its slow, and disconnects... How do you trigger and control the lighting intensity?

    • @NathanCoolPhoto
      @NathanCoolPhoto  3 года назад +1

      You can search my YT channel for "Trigger" to see a variety of videos on this subject, but I'd recommend downloading my e-book on interior photography which not only discusses this in-depth, but discusses various options. Here's a link to that if you'd like to check that out: amzn.to/3bhRxDd

    Q was the camera locked off on a tripod and all light tested fitted to a stand with the front lens of the light measured the same distance from the ceiling?

    • @NathanCoolPhoto
      @NathanCoolPhoto  3 года назад +1

      Since the tests were done with a light meter, a camera wasn't involved. Each light was placed on a stand that remained static while the light meter remained static at the other end of the room; thus, there was a consistent distance and repeatable setup for each light and power tested. Each flash was controlled with a remote trigger.

    It hurts a lot less when you drop a $75.00 speedlight. My only comment. Have dropped a few over the years.

    So then, might as well get a Godox V1 over the AD100

      No, different tools for different jobs. In fact, here's my review on the V1 that explains why ruclips.net/video/QU-1iTbbL6U/видео.htmlsi=xQ7NmhMyAeFcjUWy
