  • Hannah and Fredrik travel to Australia for five professional events. Two of these events were on the Ladies European Tour and Hannah managed to make the cut in her first ever LET event. Unfortunately the second LET event was canceled due to heavy rain.
The final event of the trip was... a special one. The 2024 Sand Greens World Championship! And yes... the greens are made of sand. Throughout Australia, there are approximately 400 courses that have greens of oiled sand or some other similar material, usually due to the high cost of maintaining grass greens by small clubs in rural areas.
This event was hosted by the WPGA and NSW Golf. We are extremely thankful for the invites to come play in Australia and hope to be back soon!

I'd love a hat. Sand greens sound intersting. Not sure if this is a cheap way of opening a dead course or some other reason. Love your content. Congrats on the engagement.

Spent your whole career putting on green, all of a sudden, you have to put on sand. The madness!! Congrats on the engagement!!! Oh, and I’m here cause you ate the vegemite and didn’t puke lol. Remember, spread a thin layer and add some butter to the toast.

It’s a cultural thing in Australia! They’re showcasing something that is pretty prominent in rural areas all over Aus. We thought it was very unique and pretty cool!

@@discr1709 Australia is the driest continent on earth, they can't grow grass greens in many places. It's sand greens or no golf.
