Anyone else see that blatant Texas Scramble cheating from Fred there on 6? You don't PLACE in the rough! Honestly. Hannah you have to call him out for this stuff.... :) :) :). Excellent video though. Love the trash talk. Was expecting Fred or Sarah to break out singing "Since you been gone, since you been gone! I'm outta my head..." after a couple of Ben's drives! Or perhaps shout EIGHT! :)
You can’t place it in the rough in a scramble???
Always played that you drop when in the rough. Otherwise no penalty for missing the fairway. I also always played that whoever's ball you picked played first, with no drop OR place. So the selected ball is played as it lies then the following shots are placed on the fairway or dropped in the rough. Makes it more interesting and stops you taking the ball that was hit 50 yards further but in the rough and then getting a nice lie. :)
@@brookeadno chance anyone play by those rules in a scramble tournament haha. I do agree with what you’re saying though. That would make it more real.
@@FredrikandHannah I've played in many a pro am in the UK where those are the rules... It's quite doable. :). Normal local rules still apply, so in the winter if it's preferred lies the first to play would still get to "prefer" their lie in the fairway, but not in the rough etc. Swing by the UK some time and I'll show you. :) :)
