I hope y’all love this video!!! If you ever have any questions about healthy eating or where to start please DM me on Instagram or comment on this video!!! Love y’all!!!
Grace Sorrell yes it’s a great source of protein and iron! It’s a less lean source of protein however so I personally wouldn’t eat it everyday - I try and eat red meat 2x a month!
I'm from San Antonio and its good to see someone from Texas have a fitness channel. I used to work out religiously for 2yrs straight a few years back but got lazy. Time to get back into it glad found your channel. Just sub to you today.
Eleanor Goad totally understand and appreciate your concern. She addresses it in the video. Says she has reusable bags but accidentally forgot them. Hopefully we’ll see more reusables in the future!
Same, girl. i love grocery shopping. It IS so therapeutic!! and oh my word YES when i go there are mostly old people are there too and i love it so much
Kylie you are so inspirational and have motivated me to see a functional doctor for my gut health. I have been struggling for years and have been eating healthy but not the right way my gut needs. It’s so nice to see someone on the same journey as me!
A tip for Bronson and dog poo, I use a compostable plastic dog poo bag that breaks down! In the UK I use a brand called Beco, but I'm sure there's something similar in the US. :)
Not picking up dog poop is being not courteous to those around you or their property. Not trying to shade, please don’t take this the wrong way. I just wanted to give a little info about what I had read: dog poop actually takes awhile to decompose. Dog poop, or any other fecal matter, contains harmful bacteria and parasites and when rain washes the poop into the soil, it goes into the drainage system which leads to rivers/lakes and contaminates the water. This is why we have water and waste treatment facilities to provide us clean water to drink and bathe in. Plus, imagine the poor gardener finding the poop or the kids playing in the grass! Tapeworm or pink-eye anyone?
I’m the same way! I love grocery shopping and I feel like no one else does. I love seeing all the healthy food and picking what I want and thinking about the food I’m going to make! I just had a baby though so grocery shopping is a littleeeee but harder now which I’m sad about. Just found your channel and I really like your videos!
if you're low on iron I can really recommend beetroot and oats. Your body can 'absorb' it better if you eat something with Vitamin C with that, like put lemon un the beetroot or raspberries in your oats. There are other great plant-based iron sources tho in case you don't like beetroot
You are really really inspiring. I haven't been so productive in my whole life. My life changed because of you thank you so much and hope you can see this comment that will mean so much
So excited for this video. Being a college kid on a budget is hard to eat healthy all of the time!! Loved the video and can’t wait to try some of the things you buy 🥺🤍
Thank you so so much for sharing with us what you eat. I really enjoyed seeing the different types of foods that you like to eat. Keep up the good work and stay safe and healthy. Thank you Kylie.
Hey! I’m not a big fan of red meat and rarely eat it but spinach, kale, and legumes (beans and lentils) have A LOT of iron. I think some people forget that plants have a ton of iron as well! 😊
I used to eat those oatmeal bites alllll the time in high school! My coach would make them for us. And she just used mini chocolate chips, oatmeal, peanut butter and honey. You can probably find a recipe on Pinterest for exact measurements but they are super easy to make!
Girlll!! Please tell me you’ve had chickpea or lentil pasta?! It’s so great, lower carb, and high in protein. If you want to go ultra low carb then palm heart spaghetti is super great too. And ofc zoodles are great ahaha
Who else couldn’t bare if Kylie only posted once a week, at least for me It’s ages waiting for her two videos a week if that makes sense😂. But also Kylie your frickin killing it being so busy and then having two RUclips videos a week soooo that’s honestly amazing thank you for taking the time to do all this!
I hate shopping, but love grocery shopping... but that only changed since i'm trying to live and eat healthy... and since we have children - because: alone time! Crazy but sadly true 😂
bronson, nut job on poop issue. if you are talking about your property great. but since you were talking about it and not at home i assume your dog dropped one. agree on the plastic issue in general but they do make 100% biodegradable bags for this very thing.
Hey Kylie! I don't know if you'll see my comment but a really good waterproof mascara remover would be coconut oil. Just apply a little bit and message your lashes lightly and it will melt right off and its super cheap and effective ;) your welcome haha
I don't drink green juices. Period. Well, if it has more of the fruit element, MAYBE. But everything else looks good. 👍 Somewhere when we get into lotions (the girly factor)... Well, don't worry about it... 😁😁 Ah, the OTHER grocery stores (first one was Trader Joes?)... I'm not really a tomato or bell pepper kinda guy (same deal with eggplant (nightshades))... Zucchini, yeah, yeah... 😁😁😁 Great raw veggie variety. Also cooked veggie variety. You clearly love fruit. 😊😊😊 I'm REALLY picky with steaks. I don't do lunch (deli) meats... Of course, chicken and turkey at the deli, not bad, you could do a LOT worse there. Oatmeal cookies... 😏😏😏😏 No kombucha for Ben... I don't think almond milk is esp. a positive or negative. Its like whipped cream, even some other healthy grass fed dairy stuff, high quality vanilla ice cream, etc., its not BAD, but not exactly pasture raised eggs/dark green salads/berries, etc. How do I eat compared to you? 😁😁😁 My diet for the last year and a half has been a fair bit different than before that. BUT... (Anyway...) I eat pasture raised eggs. Less than Dr. Berg. More than my mom. 🤷♂️ I eat organic dark chicken. Probably more than you. 😁 High quality dark turkey when I can find it. I eat uncured bacon here and there, not often. 😁😁😁 Regarding red meat, I'll eat Whole Foods, Sprouts and higher quality stores' Mild Italian sausage, bratwurst, etc., beef skirt steak, tri tip steak, sometimes pork ribs, sometimes other cuts, but it HAS to be FRESH!!!! HAS TO BE!!! Aka, my main gripe with less than premium stores in this regard... (Ribeye is overrated... Tri tip is where its at...) Roast duck is AMAZING, as is fresh wild boar meat... Lots of ground red meats including grass fed ground bison meat out there that just isn't quite the same deal as a fresh bison STEAK... (EXPENSIVE, yes...) I eat prob. a little bit more seafood than you, but not by much. I'm a wild caught salmon guy, also fond of w. c. shrimp, crab, rockfish, halibut, sturgeon, sushi, etc. With sushi, def. gotta have crab, sushi grade raw or seared salmon, spicy mayo, those orange fish eggs, that crunchy topping, shrimp tempura, etc., but NO CREAM CHEESE!!! Cheese and I do NOT get along... Pretty much hardly any dairy. At all. Except a bit of ghee butter maybe. And the occasional vanilla ice cream. Also that occasional dark chocolate, sure. Hardly any grains. No pastries. Not very much beans. But I don't completely ignore beans. I eat a good deal more peanuts, cashews, pistachios and almonds compared to you. (All roasted and salted) I eat quite a fair amount of this stuff... We both eat veggies, both raw and cooked. I emphasize dried seaweed, celery, broccoli, green beans, watercress, fresh cilantro, onions, shallots, prob. a bit more than you, but you do more nightshades, smoothies and green drinks, prob. more zucchini and carrots as well on your end... You def. eat more kale than I do. Instead of kale, I do collards. We both love fruit. 😊😊😊 Apparently a lot of the same kinds of fruit... I LOVE oranges, also dark/purple grapes (thomcord, concord, champagne, etc.), berries, pomegranate, cherries, kiwifruit somewhat, mangos, passion fruit, pineapple, nectarines, pluots, etc., its just that I try to eat fruit a bit more like a dessert now, emphasizing lemons/limes, raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, pomegranate, etc. I use extra virgin first cold pressed olive oil from ONE country of origin for cooking, along with ghee butter with Him. pink salt on occasion. I drink purified water, and use a lot of herbs and spices in my cooking. 😊 The greatest cuisines in my opinion come from Iran, India, France, China, Korea, Japan, Vietnam, Cambodia, Germany, some Danish and Polish, etc. stuff, also some British and Italian dishes, (prob. Spanish and Moroccan food as well), Peru, Pakistan, Colombia/Venezuela, some Mexican, some American Indian and Polynesian foods, and even Ethiopia in some respects... Also the Philippines, Thailand somewhat, have heard amazing things about Malaysian and Indonesian foods, etc. Cajun food is great too. 😊😊😊
I hope y’all love this video!!! If you ever have any questions about healthy eating or where to start please DM me on Instagram or comment on this video!!! Love y’all!!!
Is eating red meat good for some who is trying lose weight?
Grace Sorrell yes it’s a great source of protein and iron! It’s a less lean source of protein however so I personally wouldn’t eat it everyday - I try and eat red meat 2x a month!
i dmed you:)
I would try that green juice you was drinking
Could you please do a how to do a top knot/half bun in your next vid?!? Mine always falls out and yours looks SO cute! Thanks!
I find grocery shopping to be so so therapeutic!!! Even with instacart and all the other services, I still like doing my own shopping!!
Sam Elle yes I love it!!!! 🙌🏼
Me too!
I'm from San Antonio and its good to see someone from Texas have a fitness channel. I used to work out religiously for 2yrs straight a few years back but got lazy. Time to get back into it glad found your channel. Just sub to you today.
i don’t understand why people dislike her videos. she’s literally my icon. she’s so pretty and funny.
I think they’re just jealous in most cases. She honestly seems like she’s just such a nice person!
Eleanor Goad totally understand and appreciate your concern. She addresses it in the video. Says she has reusable bags but accidentally forgot them. Hopefully we’ll see more reusables in the future!
Eleanor Goad she forgot them! She’s human just like us 🤷🏼♀️
She’s awesome 😎
C Fit agreed
Same, girl. i love grocery shopping.
That is why I luv u. I can not believe how excited u get when u go food shopping. What a girl!!
A tip for Bronson and dog poo, I use a compostable plastic dog poo bag that breaks down! In the UK I use a brand called Beco, but I'm sure there's something similar in the US. :)
Not picking up poop is a total D move
@Kylee Daniels it was a bad move
Not picking up dog poop is being not courteous to those around you or their property. Not trying to shade, please don’t take this the wrong way. I’m the same way! I love grocery shopping and I feel like no one else does. I love seeing all the healthy food and picking what I want and thinking about the food I’m going to make! The bioavailability in those sources aren’t that great …oat has alot of anti nutrients that will inhibit some of that absorption..
I love grocery shopping, but all the people make me nervous haha. I love to make a cute lil list and bring some coffee with me!
I’m a simple girl. I see Kylie upload, I watch and I like :)
