This is exactly how i feel.. I told my mom that i would like to eat Healthier and more balanced, and she says she supports me but then she buy so much junkfood, candy, chips ect. I find it really hard to restrict myself when i know it’s there, you know?
You should tell her to limit buying it. You don’t have to restrict just learn to control yourself and reward yourself once in a while. If you fully restrict all junk you might end up binging when you decide to have some again. Eat healthy with a little junk if wanted and think of it as a diet that never ends 😂
Buy a ton of healthy snacks that are better than the junk food. I LOVE popcorn so I buy Skinny Pop. Everything seasoning cashews are dangerous. Veggies Pretzels. Bean Chips. Dried fruit (high in sugar but I still think they are better than straight candy). Yogurt and granola. Smart Sweet branded anything. There is a lot of food you can snack on that has no work except pulling them off the shelf. Keeps me from snacking on what my parents buy. EDIT: Good luck! They're making it extra hard for you but you got it!
If that’s the case just try finding loopholes. Either order a pizza with veggies and no cheese or suggest making pizza yourself or just asking if you can eat a salad

Do you think they'd be open to you cooking for yourself? If so, try to talk to them and negotiate a budget that you could get weekly to make all your food for yourself. Since you wont be eating their food anymore technically you should be saving them money, that they could give to you as your budget! Good luck x

Alexix Martinez dairy is your worst enemy I did my research went to dermatologist tried everything from coffee grounds to every medication nothing worked but eating more veggies and no dairy and no sugary drinks just water.... boom my skin is so clear and smooth and btw if you have cellulite it’s mainly due to bad lymphatic drainage and you need 4,500 mg of potassium a day to help with the drainage..... that’s like 12 bananas. But if you blend kale spinach and beet stems together that’s a lot of potassium right there. And boom clear skin too and you feel better.

I have never wear a crop top in my life … This was my baground story But lately i went on vacation with my family … the day before when i was packing my bags i tried every piece in my closet and everything looked disgusting… i cried myself until i felt a really bad headache …even my bathing suit looked more disgusting than normal … this day i didn't eat anything and before traveling i was so hungry so i ate half a sandwich and mom was judging me …. During the trip she was judging me every minute ( she's skinny and she doesn't eat as much as she can as if we are in a competition) even though dad payed for only breakfast and dinner and we ate nothing in between ( nearly 12 h without eating) i didn't even eat thet much at this two meals …. But she was judging how much i eat being proud of herself that she ate less …. I swear i know that she loves me and i don't want to beleive that she's toxic …. And if i said that I'm excited or that i am hungry for the next meal she say that how am i hungry and that she can't anything ….. she's saying that she's joking but she's truly hurting me since i've struggled with my weight for years i barely loose any weight … She's also always comparing her weight to mine ( i am way heavier than her) ….. so at the last meal in the vacation i was thinking about ordering soda … she looked at me and said why are you drinking too much soda what's happening to you even though she litteraly had soda an hour ago or something and she doesn't say something for my brother who's drinking soda 24/7 ( she's convinced that she's joking and i didn't want to ruin the trip so i was responding with other jokes ) but this time i showed her my real feelings and i tried not to cry but i accidentally cried . . At first she was like sorry and i was saying that it's okay but than without even doing anything else she started ignoring me and crying and playing the victim … all of that because i cried once in front of her … trust me i didn't want to cry in front of her i wanted to cry silently in my bed bcause mom gets mad if she saw me cry or having any negative feelings but this time i couldn't hold my tears until i go home … and now i don't know how to fix the problem since she's refusing to talk to me and she gets offended so easily . I was thinking of trying to become anorexic and ending up at the hospital so she can see the consequences of what she said but i am worried about that she will get mad at me if i ended up in the hospital ( iam sure she will as she got mad whenever i cry … . Hye i feel rlly bad for you although i don't have the same struggles but i think you will feel better with the support of someone. I'm just gonna tell a bit about myself first, so because i'm a twin and we were born rlly early we always have been skinny and even underweight for awhile. But now I'm 16 and since a year or two we just have a normal body weight for our length and age. I live in a family where we all like to snack and eat chocolate for breakfast you know.. But lately i wanted to eat healthier for a better skin and also for mental health, because i realized my moods depend a lot on the food i eat. I can definitely tell it's not easy to cook healthy while you're living with your parents so yeah.. I want to believe that your mother rlly loves u and u love her, but i think it would help you a lot if she was more supportive. My tip is to just ask her help for eating healthier, because i guess her opinion is important for u. Idk if this helps you but yeah, i rlly would like to help you.. I'm definitely not completely healthy yet, but i recognized a lot of improvement. Trust me food is not only bout your body, it mentally changes so much. It's okay to have some fat, just keep it healthy as much as u can.. I also learned that i have to let myself have a snack, but not too much of it. That's kind of the struggle I'm having, once i begin to eat it i can't stop.. So sometimes my parents get mad at me for it. But it will get better, it do takes effort and try to make it a habit. You'll be happy and proud of yourself you did it.. Oh yeah just one more thing, make sport a fun thing. Listen to your fave song while you are going for a walk or something else. Your brain starts to recognize it as a fun thing to do and after awhile you will feel excited to go for a walk. Hey! Don't listen your mom when she said bad things like that. Be carefull: healthy is a balance between "good food" and "bad food", you don't have to eat only vegetables and judjing you because you eat a cake or something else... Of course sport is important but you have to take plaisir in it, it doesn't have to be a punition because you think you have over eating. My mom rarely buys healthy stuff. Every time she gets groceries it’s a pack of grapes, a thing of bananas, lettuce, and them two whole other bags full of chips, cookies, chocolate, etc. Ever since I was young she’s enabled me to having bad eating habits. When I was in 4th grade she always gave me 4 brownies (180 cals each), a bad of cookies, and a sandwich for lunch only! Of course I ate it cause I was a little kid and her always also buying those bulk size candy bar boxes (the ones they use at gas stations to sell each individually) I’d always have junk to eat when upset or bored etc. I’m almost 17 now and because of COVID I won’t have my license until many months after my bday in June and the closest store near my house is a 15 min drive away. By my school there is a grocery store but I get picked up right after school and don’t have time to get anything even if I do have money. I also am unexperienced with cooking and when I ask my mom to buy ingredients so we can actually have a meal that’s healthy (not just carbs, breads, or fast food) she complains about it sayin how much extra work it is. She also now never takes me shopping with her because I’m always advising her to get some more healthy things and it gets her mad. I always feel ill after I eat because I don’t get enough nutrients and it’s only carbs and sugar because that’s all we have. I’ve also starting to lift weights and need nutrition to support that and I just want to improve my health. But what’s so funny is that my mother spends 100s of dollars on these “revolutionary” health gummies and protein powders and all these health pills and weight loss supplements instead of actually buying vegetables and fruits and I don’t trust anything like that and I don’t want to only get nutrients from those things. I’m sick of feeling gross after every meal and always being bloated from what I am eating. The healthiest thing I’ve had in many days has been a subway sandwich that my mom got me with extra sauce and extra salami (gross I know) and I’m done. At least in the summer we have a garden so we have kale and lettuce and tomatoes and beans but we don’t have that for a while. I just feel trapped

i do swimming and soccer and the hardest part is to eat right especially after practice when you're exhausted thats why i love just meal prepping once a week just having some chicken marinating all the time really makes it easy to just add that with some veggies and pasta or rice

I always thought that my family would be averse to me eating healthy, but as time has passed my parents buy me the groceries that I need and encourage me (not all the time though lol they're not perfect) I think a big part is making foods that I could share with them and allowing myself to have one meal a day where we compromise and all have a family meal

Tuna pouches are my favorite lunch item and I mix mine with avocado 🥑 yummy 😋. Also I have just discovered how amazing frozen mango 🥭 is!!! I will eat it like a snack as well, I also add it to my vanilla protein powder and a little almond milk ( tastes just like ice cream 🍨)😁

Be carefull: healthy is a balance between "good food" and "bad food", you don't have to eat only vegetables and judjing you because you eat a cake or something else... Of course sport is important but you have to take plaisir in it, it doesn't have to be a punition because you think you have over eating. My mom rarely buys healthy stuff. Every time she gets groceries it’s a pack of grapes, a thing of bananas, lettuce, and them two whole other bags full of chips, cookies, chocolate, etc. Ever since I was young she’s enabled me to having bad eating habits. When I was in 4th grade she always gave me 4 brownies (180 cals each), a bad of cookies, and a sandwich for lunch only! Of course I ate it cause I was a little kid and her always also buying those bulk size candy bar boxes (the ones they use at gas stations to sell each individually) I’d always have junk to eat when upset or bored etc. I’m almost 17 now and because of COVID I won’t have my license until many months after my bday in June and the closest store near my house is a 15 min drive away. By my school there is a grocery store but I get picked up right after school and don’t have time to get anything even if I do have money. I also am unexperienced with cooking and when I ask my mom to buy ingredients so we can actually have a meal that’s healthy (not just carbs, breads, or fast food) she complains about it sayin how much extra work it is. She also now never takes me shopping with her because I’m always advising her to get some more healthy things and it gets her mad. I always feel ill after I eat because I don’t get enough nutrients and it’s only carbs and sugar because that’s all we have. I’ve also starting to lift weights and need nutrition to support that and I just want to improve my health. But what’s so funny is that my mother spends 100s of dollars on these “revolutionary” health gummies and protein powders and all these health pills and weight loss supplements instead of actually buying vegetables and fruits and I don’t trust anything like that and I don’t want to only get nutrients from those things. I’m sick of feeling gross after every meal and always being bloated from what I am eating. The healthiest thing I’ve had in many days has been a subway sandwich that my mom got me with extra sauce and extra salami (gross I know) and I’m done. At least in the summer we have a garden so we have kale and lettuce and tomatoes and beans but we don’t have that for a while. I just feel trapped
I feel sorry for you. Hang in there, adulthood is around the corner and you’ll soon be able to eat whatever you want. :)

i do swimming and soccer and the hardest part is to eat right especially after practice when you're exhausted thats why i love just meal prepping once a week just having some chicken marinating all the time really makes it easy to just add that with some veggies and pasta or rice

I always thought that my family would be averse to me eating healthy, but as time has passed my parents buy me the groceries that I need and encourage me (not all the time though lol they're not perfect) I think a big part is making foods that I could share with them and allowing myself to have one meal a day where we compromise and all have a family meal
