I hate the idea that some people think that if you eat healthy, you're not allowed to have anything you enjoy. Like you have to either eat junk all the time or just veggies, people don't understand the balance most of the times which them makes eating healthy off puting to them.

I'm only 11 and I've been insecure for my body for years when I found out about glow up diaries it honestly changed my life the only that I'm struggling with is trying to hide the fact that I wanna be healthy from my parents and family since I'm young I can't buy my own groceries and stuff so it's been really hard no expecially since my parents are the reason I'm insecure

~ALL RECIPES~
Banana smoothie layers: 🍌
2 bananas
1/2 cup almond milk
1/2 cup Greek yogurt
Ice cubes
~Blend all ingredients for about 45 seconds.
~Layer with granola, blueberries and peanut butter.
Three ingredient pancakes:🥞
1 banana
1 egg
Handful of oats
~Mash banana in bowl, stir in egg and oats.
~Heat a pan on medium heat.
Tip: Make smaller pancakes (pour batter onto pan), they are easier to flip.
~Top with berries and maple syrup
Spinach egg whites and green smoothie: 🥬🍳🍵
~Cook a handful of spinach in a greased pan on medium heat. Sprinkle with salt.
~Pour in some egg whites and stir until ready (usually takes a couple of minutes)
For the smoothie:
Blend together 1/2 a frozen banana, 2 handfuls of spinach, 2 sticks of celery, 1/2 cup almond milk, 1 apple, some mint leaves, and ice cubes.
Peanut butter banana rice cake:
~Spread peanut butter on a rice cake. Top with sliced banana.
Overnight oats:
1/4 cup oats
1/2 cup almond milk,
2 tablespoons Greek yogurt
~Mix all ingredients, refrigerate overnight.
~Top with fruit
High protein sandwich: 🥪
~Toasted bread
~Handful of kale or spinach
~Sliced avocado
~Fried egg
~Sriracha sauce (optional)
Assemble all ingredients to make a sandwich
Chocolate chia seed pudding:
2 1/2 tablespoons chia seeds
1/2 cup almond milk
About a tablespoon cacao powder
Agave nectar to sweeten
~Mix all ingredients in bowl, refrigerate for a couple hours.
~Top with raspberries

Yess I've been tired of having the same oats everyday and this helped me so much staying healthy and have more creative dishes to share that really taste food and feel good.
So I wanted to make the pancakes but we were out of bananas. Substituted for a peach and it came out really good! Thanks for the inspo 😋

I started giving myself a self care day, and I stared meditating, doing daily yoga,and walks, I still do wanna put in more habits, but like you say “ start small and go big” I don’t really remember what you said tho. Alivia thank you. You have motivated me to move forward with my life. At first it wasn't easy and I'm still struggling when it comes to battling my addiction to sugar( bad foods) and motivating myself to exercise. But you have taught me that there is always room for change, we can always be better and there is nothing wrong with that. I've set the mindset for myself that " There is always tomorrow ". I'm young and this is just the beginning of my journey to a better health so thank you for letting people all over the world know the raw and true process of becoming healthier. And remember aim for progress not perfect.

I have to be honest and say that many of these recipes are veeery low calorie. I think they would suit better as snacks and not a complete breakfast
