Nice recipe as always. For any commenters concerned about fat, use lean ground turkey and cut the cheese portion in half and you can drop this recipe down to under 20g of fat per serving. You can go even lower using only scrambled egg whites.
I love to see the difference between breakfast concepts around the world, as a Brazilian I would never see that as a breakfast. Here we eat bread with butter, maybe with eggs, sometimes cereals, cakes (simple and healthy cakes, nothing like American cakes), and of course coffee. This meal is basically a lunch/dinner in my eyes.
This looks great but imo i'd keep the pico the gallo aside, as it's usually better at room temp or cold to keep the freshness. Great recipe! will use it often.
This might be a stupid question but I've watched a few of these vids and have yet to see what size containers you are using, probably said it somewhere.
After watching a few of your vids, I’ll definitely say that your style of straight to the point direction and info is super refreshing. Two thumbs way up
I love the writing on your T-shirt. Here's one my mum always used:” Waste not, want not”. A good chef, such as yourself, will be skilled in making the most of food, even the left-overs from a previous day. I don't mean off people's plates. :) Thanks for all the useful tips and meal suggestions.
Love this breakfast meal prep...now i don't have to fret thinking what to make for breakfast.... would love some more of these breakfast series Chef Jack... Thank you so much...
This one right here is the one that I needed. I'm starting to do boxing in the morning and its training is heavy as hell, so you need to eat a good starting full on protein breakfast. Thank you as always!
Alternatively, you can mix all this into many tortillas and store them in the freezer (in a freezer safe bag) for quick on the go, breakfast option. Reheats in 1-2 minutes depending on size. Obviously just cut the sausage and any other ingredients to small bite sized pieces. Good video, easy recipe, but one thing that stuck with me: “You could store them separately, but that would lead to a lot of different containers.” He says this a few times. It’ll still be 5 containers. If you can fit everything mixed into 5, everything separate would also fit in 5. Or just get bigger containers, and fit each part of the meal into different containers. Obviously goes against a meal prep bowl, and just turns into storing leftovers.
I'm loving the knife skills chef!❤ I would sub out for sweet potatoes. But this breakfast bowl looks scrumptious and perfect for breakfast, lunch or brunch!❤
Awesome recipe. Thanks for sharing. I've been looking for an easy healthy breakfast option for winter. The only change I would make is that I would get fresh pre-made Pico de Gallo at the grocery store to save time. But I can't wait to try this one.
High calorie count but ingredients will satiate till late afternoon! At 5 or 6 pm would have full fat yogurt, Grape nuts, blueberries, raspberries, chopped walnuts, a bit of evaporated milk. 💥 Boom. Done for the day.
I have been doing something similar to this but a more lazy version, however I was frying the potatoes/onion/capsicums in a pan but your way is MUCH better. never thought of doing it in the oven with a sheet pan
I like You Jack. I admire that You show us recipes with good fats, meat served together with tasty vegeatbles. This is what i like the most to eat. Shame that last decades fats were discriminated. Continue that mission man. Today recipe is Perfect for breakfast to eat during a break in work. Tasty and filling meal after which no one will get blood sugar decrease.
I am so happy to have found your channel. I've been looking for nutritious breakfast alternatives. Even better that they look this good and are for the week
When I cut up strong chilli peppers, I've learned to wear feel-gloves. That juice stays on your hands for hours, even after washing, and if you touch your mouth or eyes......oh, boy! It stings like hell!! ☺️
Your videos game been a game changer ! My wife and I just recently had a baby and we are finding the only way to eat healthier good foods is to prep ahead. His name is Jack! Anyway, what size meal prep containers are in this vid? I'll be sure to follow your link in the description when purchasing.
Another tip to avoid overcooking those sensitive eggs - place them in the centre of your container. That way don’t receive the full power of your microwave.
Omg don't use the microwave if you can help it for reheating! Air fryer and stove is hotter! (In my personal opinion as someone who doesn't use the microwave and thinks they are bad for your health)
@@zoie4000 I'm glad you added "if you can help it" as I cannot. All I have access to at work is a microwave, a kettle and a sandwich press. And I'm not keen on eating toasted sandwiches everyday. When I'm at home a lean towards other reheating methods.
yum, I would like to make this, I'm gonna start meal prepping soon when I start working 2 jobs :( but there's no way I'm gonna get obese again! Thank you for this video!
Wow lovely recipe, healthy, affordable, but most of all super tasty. My only personal taste/suggestion would be to use a different oil or pan for the eggs.
Wow well informative video, layed out with easy instructions 👏 nothing but respect for this type of content. Thank you for sharing, i shall apply the knowledge
Tip: If you wanna save some calories on the meat, you can just take some ground turkey and make some kind of cevapcici (like greek sausages) out of it. Its about 240kcal /100g.
Pico de gallo, like revenge, is a dish best served cold. I'd keep that pico to the side so it doesn't get reheated with everything else. Great recipe otherwise!
Hey Jack! Youbreally got me into cooking with your indreible and easy recipes. Could you try something with mushrooms maybe? Chanterelles specifically? Thanks!
Hey man, great video! I’ve been making the sweet and sour chicken quite often now and it’s super easy to make too. I’d like to make one suggestion: in your video description, can you put links to the kitchen tools you used in the videos? As best as you can of course. Maybe even if you have a shop you buy your knives as well. Keep it up, thanks for your recipes!
Thank you for that! All the info is in the description under all my links. If you go to my website, I have a full list of most of the ingredients I use and my knives are also on that link
Another excellent meal prep presentation Jack! I’ll certainly be giving this one a try out in the near future. Thanks for sharing. Cheers and best wishes from AKL, NZL.
Lovely dish. And it' s a great idea create recipes that can be made by lonely and/or busy people to have great meals during the whole week. But I'm feel me obliged to say that this recipe may be not the best option to someone suffering from gastritis or acid reflux during night (me, for example). Maybe work if, for example, not use or substitute the bell pepper and the onions and roast the sausage in oven instead the fry pan (vegetable sausages maybe are good options). I guess that's the spirit, The Chef offers the path and we walk trough it accordingly our own limitations or tastes. Thank you chef, best regards and see you next video.
Great meal prep video. I'll def make this later this week ;) I think it would be better to leave out the pico de gallo and add it once you've reheated the food. Delish!

Bread, cakes, cereals. Sounds like Brazil is getting infected with western diets from up north. That is unhealthy bro.
I agree this would be dinner for me
