    If you're really trying to keep it lean, you can use egg white only for the dredge and switch out half the mayo for greek yogurt without too much impact on flavor. It would up the protein a bit also.

    Cornflake crumbs are great! I started using them many, many years ago instead of breadcrumbs because my son had a wheat intolerance. He was under one year old when he started reacting to wheat, getting really bad asthma. I still always do chicken snitzels with cornflake crumbs and he is turning 40 soon and although can tolerate wheat better now, doing it with cornflake crumbs is still his favourite.

    Chef, I made this for dinner tonight and for the next four nights and…wow! So delicious. That sauce is better than any burger sauce I’ve had. I love burgers but I’m also trying to lose fat and gain muscle, so gotta modify a little bit. But I didn’t miss my usual burger order. This totally hit the spot. Can’t wait to try your other recipes! Fantastic recipe, thanks Jack!
    These are great to keep in the freezer and fulfil that burger craving we all get. Super filling as well, unlike McDonald's, where you are hungry 30 minutes later.
    To all the people saying this isn't healthy and you can't lose weight. You need to understand CICO (calories in calories out). These burgers are filling and high protein, so keep you full for a long time. If you are in a calorie deficit, you lose weight.
    He isn't saying eat these for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It's about balance. Use this as a tool on your weight loss journey. Make sure you are eating a balanced diet from all the food groups, planety of fruit, veg, complex carbs, and healthy fats. Track your calories and lose weight.
    If you try to be 100% perfect, then you won't be consistent.

    Hey Jack,
    Love your videos. I like it how you come down to the level of the 'general non chef public people' and present your content (for eg: ''most of you may not have big pans to fry all chicken at once, so do them twice in separate batches"). Many chefs fail to understand this and think that their viewers have pots and pans that can only be bought if you migrate to the ends of the world, which is why I think you have a unique style of content.
    Keep up the good work! Looking forward to many more cooks!

    What I like about is this is you don't deep fry the chicken, I'm not shipping the oil spray but it's a nice alternative here.
    For something even healthier I would recommand a carnivore mayo made with whole eggs and very few oil, improved with garlic and tomato and you offer yourself the best sauce for burgers.
    Also go for goat cheese with chicken, the association is neat and goat cheese is less fat than most cheese.

    tl;dr Just made this. Tastes amazing. Adding it to my rotation of meals.
    I just made this. I had to use ground turkey instead of chicken because the ground chicken was crazy expensive and I wasn't trusted to clean the blender properly. XD
    2 points of interest for me with this.
    1. The sandwich sauce is amazing. I tasted it after mixing it together and I intend to make that for other things too.

    These look great! Adding to this, another way to lose extra weight eating these burgers, which look excellent, would be to source either store bought low carb buns, or find a recipe for low carb bread buns.and make your own, although i will say, Its harder than you think to get a good one, but once you do, and you replace high carb bread with the new low carb version, the weight will drop off. I had to go down this route as i had health problems I'm now diabetic so I did it for thise health reasons, but the weight is now dropping off me despite actually eating a lot more food than i used to. I saw results in days after switching away from carbs.
    I now eat plenty of meat, eggs, fish, cheese, butter, cream etc. and have low carb breads, i even have cakes and cookies that are made with low carb flour and use canderel sugar substitute, so i eat kits, and gave lits of treats, yet im dropping on average 7-14 pounds of weight a month. I've also been told by my doctor, at this rate i could be diabetes free within a year! If that hapoens i will still stick to my new low carb, zero sugar, high protein diet as i feel so much healthier!
    Also, despite me not exercising, my muscle mass has started to come back, and I've added a good 2 inches on to my muscle measurements.
    Seeing this video, i reckon i will give these burgers a go using a keto bread recipe i got off of 'putnuts kitchen' RUclips channel. Its a great recipe, and can be used for bread loaf's, hot dog and burger buns, donuts, naan breads, pitta breads, wraps etc. I love me a good burger so ill definitely give these ones a try.
    So, like i said, in my opinion the best all round sugar substitute I've found is: canderel sweetener
    And the best low carb bread recipe I've used can be found at: putnuts kitchen channel on RUclips, search 'putnuts hot dog bun recipe'.
    Thank you for this burger recipe, hopefully it will be going on my 'best of' monthly nenu!

    Bit late to the party but what’s the best way to reheat these??

    • @ChefJackOvens
      @ChefJackOvens  11 дней назад

      The way to store these, is to store only the patties and assemble the burger/sandwich fresh. Best way to reheat is either in a pan with a splash of oil, in the oven or in an air fryer. If I were to say one over the other, I’d go with the air fryer as the small heating space will be quick enough to heat it and get it crispy without completely over cooking. If all else fails, a microwave can also be used

    What is the best way to reheat the burgers after being in the fridge? Also do you just mean the patties or the entire prepped burger (in the fridge)? Yes I’m a noob

    • @kironet
      @kironet 3 месяца назад

      I think it's better to make them "fresh", just prep everything beforehand. Reheated burgers will never taste good imo. But if you want to reheat(patties), I'd reheat them in oven, not microwave.

    • @ChefJackOvens
      @ChefJackOvens  2 месяца назад +1

      You can store the entire burger in the fridge or just the patties and make them fresh each time. The patties can also be cooked then frozen and brought out when needed. As for heating, microwave, pan or oven depending on which you prefer

      @@ChefJackOvens @ilikeapples24 A little protip I picked up recently: use the (true) nonstick pan without any fat to reheat the burger patty. Faster than the oven, better than the microwave, and finally some other use for your nonstick other than scrambled eggs ;) For the whole burgers, you can still use the pan -- just make it fairly hot, drop a bit of water and cover it with a dome for a few minutes -- but probably the oven or the microwave would be more convenient.

    These would definitely be chicken burgers and not chicken sandwiches. Although a burger is a type of sandwich the name helps identify what you're getting. When you refer to something as a burger it's usually a ground product formed into a patty. When I think of a chicken sandwich it's usually a filet or slices off a larger piece. You hear people refer to a burger patty but you never hear them referred to a sandwich Patty. Some people prefer a filet off of a chicken breast, but I for one always prefer a patty. To each their own!😊

    that looked easy, definatley gonna try, but i would like my cheese(preferably one slice between the chickenpatties, like 3 slicesbottom, middle and top) and melted. should i use a propane torch for that? or throw on the cheese slices in the last minute in the owen?

    • @ChefJackOvens
      @ChefJackOvens  3 месяца назад

      They're so good! you can place the cheese on a couple minutes before they come out if you want them to melt over the patties. You can also use a blow torch or put them under the grill/broiler

    these burgers are awesome for hitting macros. Although your sauce macros don't seem right? 125g mayo has around 870 calories so one serving of that sauce will have around 170 calories not 56?
