I've just ordered one of these - Really appreciated the in depth, honest review! We have the X8 hybrid at the moment which we'll use upstairs from now on. Disappointed to see the roller brush get so gunked up. It feels like this is a problem that's been solved already so it's disappointing to see this not be a better implementation.
We feel the same way! Roombas with their dual rubber brushes do a great job avoiding tangles. Same for the roborock models that have that same style. Recently on the Dreame X30 they now have a cutting brush (we can't wait to try it) and we just covered the Narwal Freo X Ultra that has the best single brush design to avoid tangles. It is legit!
I just looked at their video on the brush detangler... It does the detangle during the bag empty process, so this isn't a fair assessment of how it functions. Please make an update looking at the function. Thanks :)
Thank you for the review. I had a Ecovas Deetbot Omni X1 with LiDAR technology for obstacle avoidance. However, it would not navigate under my kitchen cupboards which stand on stainless steel legs. There was more than enough space to navigate through yet it would not stay and clean under here. I surmised that it could be the lasers from the LiDAR being bounced of the shiny surface of the legs of the cupboards and saw these as an obstacle to be avoided. I have a Eufy G30 and this works fine in this same area. I returned the Deetbot Omni as it was very expensive not to have it being able to clean this area of the kitchen. I would be interested to understand how the Eufy X10 Pro Omni copes with this scenario. I plan to buy a quality mopping robot but not sure all the reviews I see truly cover a wider enough range of scenarios. Also, how easy is the connectivity to the WiFi. The Deetbot Omni regularly disconnected from the WiFi and had to be reset multiple times for the months I had it. I also note the height of the unit is 4.3”. This is higher than all other machines and will in many situations mean it will not fit under some furniture. My sofa is on legs and has a height space of 4.5” but this concerns me this X10 Pro model will not fit under this space. Its an expensive item to purchase to then find out is simply will not clean under some areas as I have described. There is no mention in the video what the cut of height is that the LiDAR will stop the vacuum entering that space. Finally, the water tank is 80mL. That is small. How frequent will the vacuum go back to refill?
You have fantastic questions and I will do my best to try and answer them for you! - super interesting about the stainless steel legs. I bet you are right with the LIDAR acting up... might be out of luck on that one for all models... -In regards to WiFi I have never had any issues but I have a massive network setup with really good signal strength everywhere. If you had an issue then it would be in your best interest to get a range extender! -At 4.3" it should be able to go under the 4.5" sofa. This gives me a good idea of something I can try to build out in the future to test. If it can clear it should go near lol - refilling varies and you can configure that somewhat in the app... it would probably go back 2-3x per clean to refill

I know the 1 reviewer is vacuum wars, he calculates efficiency by Sq meters of the area cleaned by the time it took.(battery efficiency also taken into account) Also if available depending on the robot app, shows what path the robot took to clean.
We love Vacuum Wars and Chris is a friend of ours!!@@gilberttheconsumerofrealit3968 We will defiantly work on working on efficiency! Hopefully with the time-lapse here 19:15 you can get a feel for the coverage pattern (row by row)
Ordered one 2 weeks ago with a $200 coupon. Got email today that due to high demand it will be sometime in April before it ships. They already have my money so very disappointed in Eufy for not conveying this when ordered

Would you happen to know if the app can be shared on multiple devices? For instance, can my girlfriend and I operate the device from either of our phones?
Question, did your robot to review map carpets on the map? Mine will not stop and raise the mop brushes when it hits any of my carpets. Eufy wants me to just get a refund saying the limitation of this device is not detecting every type of carpet...Mine detects none.
Yes it detects carpets and lifts the pads. You can see it at 8:15 in our video! Unless you have the most abnormal carpet ever I am sure you just have a deflective device/senor on your vacuum. Interesting that they don't want to repair it!
I was so disappointed in that feature. I had high hopes but it isn't any better than not having one imo! I thought with a few more weeks of cleaning that would change but it has not lol
@@geo30197 Yeah it really just depends on so many variables! Tangles on brush = less effective / bristles = better for hair pickup but more tangles lol
I believe the detangling happens when the brush roll spins in reverse at the cleaning station

Yes we know that! We could have made it more clear in the video but this exactly how it looks after multiple tries during self empty...

Yes budget wise you won't find anything better!

That is a killer deal! I love the narwal freo x ultra for its detangling brush. It has the best design we have ever seen for one!
I wonder why it doesn't use rubber brush? Detangler doesn't seem to work so good.
It needs to have longer sharper blades that actually catch the hair when it attempts to detangle

I have that kind of brush on other vacuum, hard to clean long hair, so I want silicone brush, easyer to clean

Where did you see that option? I contacted them and they did not say that, also they stated that x10 brush is not compatible with any other eufy brush
If it wasn't our comment section it was another eufy x10 review ha! I can't remember where but I guess if you contact them then case closed!
So the vacuum performance is average.
Average performance + some top of the line features all for a below avg price!
