Thank you for this review and flip through. We are coming off a year of Biology with Apologia in a co-op. Thank God for the co-op for the labs! That course was too intense for my daughter to do another one like it. This course looks interesting, but I'd like to know how much time daily did you spend reading? About an hour?
Also, how did you assign a grade?
I was a little laidback with this. If you do as said definitely not
more than 1hour. He liked to read or we read together and answer questions same day. Some questions we discussed. I really graded on effort and attitude with
this subject. He had a science to fulfill. Science is not his subject but there is a lot of interesting things taught and he really learned a lot🤗
I'm also wondering if you did a science course from the "101" series with the son you did this Astronomy class with?
Yes he did the Biology. My favorite is the Chemistry 101🤗 which my other 2 boys did.
So will Biology and chemistry be ok fir California and including the Astronomy
I am not sure what California requirements are. I would check with HSLDA. My son needed 2 science with lab and one without. Also some will count videos as lab😉
