Thanks for the look inside, I think we will be trying this as well. My son does phonetic zoo too, I like that the audio makes it mostly independent.

Considering this for year 2025/2026 for my son. Thanks for a look inside!

Thank you for this look through Rachel! I've never looked at this before, and now I am interested in using it, so I'll be watching and waiting for your updates to see how this coming year goes. Please keep up your videos!

I agree that the curriculum is not pushy. It is really wonderful and I love that my kids are being spiritually well-fed. We are skipping the 5th day of each week.
The days do not take my children as long as stated in the curriculum.
My kids really enjoy the books that go along with each level of the curriculum.

I’ll be doing Level 7 with my daughter this year. We’re coming from alternating years between using TGTB and IEW. THANK YOU for the flip-through!

I am in the SAME boat! I used LLFALE in 2nd grade and I said I would never use it again. I just really did not like it. My sister in law needed something different/easier for her son so I went to Masterbooks level 7 which is what he would need and I was pleasantly surprised! It was nothing like what I had used 5 years ago but I liked what I saw so much that I decided to do it with my son this year and give it a try as well! Hope we we like it!

Thanks for the flip through, but does the book include reading comprehension?

No this does not. I do think you will show your understanding by your writing from the scripture.
We also use written narration in our history. If you are looking for a good 7th grade book study “To Every Nation” from Not Consumed looks good. We have not used because we have read through most of these books already😉 You could also find free comprehension work sheets online if this is a concern😉

I looked at the level 2 or 3 for my youngest for the 2024-2025 year and decided against it. I just don’t care for it. But we started using 5, 6, and 9 last month and love them overall.
Levels 8 and 10 are supposed to be out by the fall of 2024.

Looking to switch my daughter’s LA curriculum to this also. Do you think this alone teaches enough grammar?

I am going to be honest, I cannot say until he uses it for a while. I will
plan to answer this after he uses for a some😉
