I have the same issue! I have had so much listed for sale..and cheap! No one seems to be interested. I would think , now more than ever, moms would be looking for a good deal on curriculum.
Agree.
Yes I have also run into this problem. That is why I am debating on how long to keep it. I may also try ebay with “or best offer” as someone suggested😉
I have sold a lot of curriculum over the years. I have noticed there are better times of the year than others😉 I have been blessed to buy the cheap used curriculum, it is always a blessing!! ❤️
When you are selling, in your listing description, make sure to list the price you want but that you are also taking best offers.... I'll say something like, "Price: $50 OBO" That way the buyers know you are open to offers. I list them on eBay and on FB Marketplace. I give it one month bc I hate clutter. If it doesn't go, I sell them at a homeschool bookstore about an hour away. Just decide what is worth your time.... my minimum is $25 items and above for me personally. I sell A LOT of our stuff to pay for the next year, if I can. ---> This is a GREAT time to be listing curriculum.
Yes I need to give the OBO😉
I have sold a lot on ebay over the years😉
I live a little over an hour from a homeschool consignment store. They only take current editions of curriculum. Older things can be put in free bins. That has worked well for me.
That is awesome!! I think I would want to check out the free bin☺️
I have this problem every year! I have tried every year to GIVE them away in like new condition popular curriculum in current edition but NO ONE WANTS THEM! I do understand because we all know what we are specifically looking for but i hate to give them to good will when someone could use these. Selling on line went well for a while but recent years have been dry. Go figure!
Yes it use to be easy to sell on ebay. This is so true and so interesting 🤔
It has helped me and others to sell stuff so we can buy for the next year.
Yes I need the inspiration. I have a bunch of old books/curriculum I am ready to get rid of but is still currently on my dining room floor 😂. Debating going to my homeschool consignment store but it's about 45 minutes to an hour away so it's like do I devote that time or just donate and sell on eBay ugh the struggle right?!
This is what happens to me. Sometimes I donate books and sometimes they get put back in a container and stored🤪
No going back😳☺️
I just did this very same thing now that I only have high schoolers. I did a HUGE shipment to Thriftbooks this week - they have a buyback program now! What they didn't take, I took to the library for their monthly book sale. I still have more to do, but I got a HUGE headstart this week!
Thank you so much for sharing this information--I had no idea that this was an option!
I was looking into that but what I had was only pennies? So you think it is worth it.?? How do you pay shipping?🤔 I may need to look at again😉 thank you
@@learningwithboys7431 shipping is free - I made $40 - depends on what books you have I suppose.
Their prices fluctuate daily based on stock. I had an Apologia book they offered me almost $8 for and that was the most I was offered.
@@brittanym58thank you!
Keep until September if you can. Some people shop late.
Yes this is true, thank you for the reminder 😉
