"I did it out of anger" WOW Unbelievable that God needs the justice
The shifty eyes and fake crying is enough to convince me that she's guilty.
Yes... So fake and liar
Never saw tears fall
exactly.. reminds me of captain jack sparrow's ex wife performance in court
This is the easiest case I've ever watched on this channel. Guilty
Exactly.
Girl BYE!!!! You killed that man because he was leaving you!
Seriously…
Toxic femininity. lol
She looks like that Jodie girl outside and inside,
👏🏻
@@RichardWagner-hi4zn stop trolling
She's 100% guilty!!! What is wrong with those jurors!!!!
I have never in my life been able to spot liar so fast.
I have never been as shocked and disgusted with a verdict since the Casey Anthony case. The jury got this WRONG. They let a murderer go free. She was a psycho and dangerous... and a future risk to society. I feel so sorry for his mother! Justice was NOT served. SHAME ON THAT JURY!!
You’re absolutely right. And since she got away with this one she will get worse.
Nope.. casey Anthony case was another level... This won't come near that... I have never seen a case like casey Anthony where I wish I wanted to put that jury in prison... In this case mistakes r done by police... moving the gun and fkced up with confession video which made jurors to have reasonable doubt... Even they agree she killed her and she is guilty but not in prison..and here the victim also toxic towards her....and she was also...But in casey Anthony case... Innocent child died..and the beach got away and roaming free and giving interviews and shows for money
Yes and once again they dressed Casey in ugly clothes for the jury.... I wouldn't wear her court clothes and Casey usually in something like the blue dress in the bar contest would not either
But guys god will judge her for Sure! She will get punished for this crime in life! May in some other ways like illness or Family loses im pretty Sure
They were liberals. And we all know their poor little fee fees matter more than PHYSICAL EVIDENCE.
The 2 jurors punished the cops, instead of convicting a murderer. Disgusting.
Made me wonder if they had a vendetta against the cops. They didn't strike me as the wholesome choir boy type.
And the cops did nothing wrong except for moving the gun. It wasn't their fault that the technology failed. I think there should be improvements in interview rooms, but that's not up to them.
That's black culture for ya.
That is what cops get for being pushy, bossy, and dumb.
NASA needs to donate their audio system to the police. In 1969 it was crystal clear, calling Nixon on a landline...
Those two jurors might be the dumbest people I’ve ever heard in my life
You can tell she was lying since the beginning!
This woman is disgusting… first of all, you work at a gun store, where I’m sure requires training of how to handle a firearm & you claim it just went off? BS… then to accuse this guy of rape & abuse when you harassed him with nonstop phone calls & literally go hunt him down when he doesn’t come home?! Make it make sense… another case of injustice. RIP Steven
🎯🎯🎯😖
On target! And if you didn’t receive training, then you were not allowed to handle the merch. But she wasn’t employed just to clean the bathrooms as we know.
Those two jurors decided to follow anything but evidence. The couldn't even find her guilty of a lesser charge? Yet they agree she killed him. It's very sad for Steven and his family. If this victim was a woman 🙄🤔
Make it make sense 🤔
Reminds me of Arias
Such a liar. Crying crocodile tears
except no tears
It took years to go to trail and a few more to get to this interview. She's said but damn, it's been years.
I was here to say the same thing. Crocodile tears.
Yep, fake crying. Fake stories of abuse.
I wonder how many lies she told him.
Just for sleeping around, on him, she deserves a while in the slammer!
Not a single tear in this girls’s eyes. I feel bad for Everyman that encounters a woman like her in their life.
I feel bad for every woman that encounters men like her as well
NEVER TELL YOUR ABUSER YOU ARE LEAVING!!!! So sad this young man lost his life to this nutcase.
You can clearly see she’s pretending to cry, she definitely did it. She needs to be in prison.
I guarantee you she has borderline personality disorder. Everything they said about her reminds me of my ex-girlfriend. Just look up the symptoms of BPD and it fits her to a T. I 100% believe she did it in a fit of rage. Shame on the jury.
@@danieldavis3035 I agree 💯
She killed him in the heat of anger. She killed him is definite
Possibly but things were mishandled from jump
Most people have a soul? To live without one? I wouldn't want to live...
I agree. She got mad because he was leaving her and he was tired of her crazy behavior! Also, she's fake crying with no tears. She is a psychopath.
But the court or jurey gives a verdict with evidence.. not a what think and what feel .
@@Nagra007yes because people's emotions to not come into what decision the jury makes. And the judge always reminds the jury of this.
The smug smug look on the killers face and the face of these two jurors pricked my central nervous system---disgusting!!
I was yelling at the TV!
I sure hope and pray Stevens mother is getting through this horrible grief she has to endure I'm sending her lots of love and peace💞✌
what a joke of a jury, they should be forced to take an IQ test
Rumor has it that the other one was gifted a tooth replacement
Chris and Victor failed that mans gamily by introducing such ridiculous doubts to the other jurors. The other jurors are absolutely pathetic for going along with it.
100%. Who knows how 48 hrs edited the interview- but they came off like a couple of idiots frankly
Just because they say not guilty, doesn't mean they believe she is innocent, they just think there is reasonable doubt.
They should be investigated to see what ties they have to her, and to any instances of abuse against someone. Those two men had an agenda. The other jurors? They needed to be investigated too. And whoever had access to the audio of her interview? Find out who tampered with that. Maybe she had a lover on the force.
People actually killing someone by accident DO go to prison for involuntary manslaughter. The fact that they let this woman go is insane. This justice system disappoints me sometimes.
The jurors sound rather dumb. They have blood on their hands.
I wonder if “involuntary manslaughter” wasn’t an option for the jury. Surely they would have found her guilty of that.
She deceived the jury with fake tears
The prosecution probably didn’t give the jury that option. It was all or nothing.
Jurors can be so stupid
The most dangerous time for PEOPLE is when they are getting ready to leave a relationship.
This is so hard and painful to see a disgusting murderer walk free from consequences of her action! How could they do this ? Those who responsible for an obvious injustice! How can they sleep calmly at night!? I hope this will haunt them forever!
I think he told her that he's leaving in 2 days, and that sets her off.
yup! 100%
I definitely think this is the case and she snapped
If you are definitively leaving a toxic relationship. LEAVE. IMMEDIATELY! Never "pick a future date" because you are setting a "deadline" and that word is very instructional to someone who is mentally unstable.
100%
That’s it right there
The jury is an absolute joke.
10 got it right but couldn't take it further.
Dumbazzes poor Steven
This is scary to watch if you compare her recounting the story to Amber Heard’s testimony on the stand. I’ve never seen someone who is being honest saying “I’m sorry” the way they do when they are trying to cry while telling their story.
They are because the police fault
They hated the police so much that they let a murderer walk free
She was guilty. To say she is not guilty bc of abuse and alleged rape is so wrong. She 100% committed a crime and should have been convicted.
These outcomes make me angry at myself for being addicted to these crime shows. I should be Gardening, or Playing Basketball...
Same here
This woman is clearly guilty.
I just pray every single man in America will memorize her face so she never, ever, EVER lures and abuses another man again, may she never find love and rot alone. This is heartbreaking.
Yeah but he also played a role in being toxic they both should have walked away from each other before it got to this
She's so terrified that she chases him down in his friends car and screams for him to get home.
😂😂😂😂😂
David Begnaud is one of the best journalists out there. Tells the story like no other.
And asks the most crucial question in the end that she miserably fails to answer with due decency and humbleness.
A murderess went free. Horrible travesty of justice.
Rip Steven❤
It’s the most cringe feeling hearing someone fake crying and lying. It’s like hearing someone scratch a chalkboard
Exactly. I skipped past her interviews and testimony. She's unbearable!
Yeah she def killed that poor guy intentionally.
Yes it's awful
WW TEXTBOOK.
My shoulders literally scrunched up from the cringe
I cannot believe she got off. Its clear she was unstable and shot him.
America convicts a lot of innocent people to feed its private prison industry. America is corrupt.
Definitely seems corked.
Sadly, we can....
Women always get off or lenient sentences.
It’s because of the terrible police job. He clearly not an angel so me too i would feel guilty sending the woman to jail not knowing what he did right before he was killed 🤷🏽♀️. But anyway i think a little bit of jail time could have her think twice next time.
She told the cops she tossed the gun to Steven and then in the interview she said he lunged at her. But evidence shows he was on the bed the whole time.
She worked at a gun store and should have known not to point a gun at anything unless you plan to shoot.
If HE was abusing HER why did HE find refuge on his friends house?? She is an abusive liar that’s what she is! As for the jury… NO COMMENT!
Why she called him all the time 30 times? Because she was afraid of him? What a lier and m*rderer!

She got lucky also when the audio was bad! 2 times lucky ... what are the odds? It is suspicious 🤔
2 idiot jurors ruined it all
We are a nation of simps. What planet have you been living on?
Absolutely right.
Wow they were actually men not women that let a murderer free
Did anyone else pause to read the ‘horrible, hateful’ texts from Steven where his feelings are clearly hurt and he’s doing his best to respectfully communicate that and apologize for anything he did to cause it and she’s just gaslighting him??
I'm guilty of sending out some unsavory messages when I'm hurt. I think a good Many of us are!
@@SilkTieTourniquet of course! The texts they were talking about just made him look like more of the victim in the situation even though they were trying to say that she was the victim. We all say awful things that we don’t mean sometimes, but I don’t think that was an instance where he was doing that.
A lot of the texts were the same text several times for effect (assuming 48 did that to make it look like more). But I didn't read anything extremely foul from him. It sounded like Steven had normal anger responses. Heck, texts between me and my mate are WAY worse than his.
I don't believe anything she says. I want to shake female culprits when they do the "vulnerable, poor me, victim" act. She was the aggressor, not him. Every time someone says "the next thing I remember", it means you're dealing with a liar.
Poor Steven. So young, wanting to start an new life. His instinct to get out was right on.
Those two jurors were idiots. Pathetic.
It was more about them being right and proving the police and responders wrong than placing accountability on her.
They must be good salesmen then because they changed the mind of the other 10 “smart” ones.
The defense tries to get as many idiots on the jury as possible. Smart people ask too many questions and like puzzles
Why are they idiots?
The evidence was tempered.
You are supposed to check the evidence and not your emotions when deciding a case.
And as others said: how is it that they convinced the rest of the jurors?
This case was truly butchered by many people.
@@sarahdeshay1394 Although this young woman was not likable and laid the whining and tears on way too thick, there was reasonable doubt. There are two predominant emotions that abuse victims carry around with them: fear and rage. That would explain much of her behavior during the course of her relationship with Steven. His text messages showed his intention to harm her if she didn't obey She was not necessarily innocent but was found Not Guilty because her guilt was not proven beyond a reasonable doubt. Plus, this Steven guy was far from an innocent lamb. Far, far from it.
Never tell an abusive unstable person you’re leaving the relationship. Make a plan… keep it secret… and go quietly. Telling an abuser you’re leaving is why people get killed.
So true. Had to do that once--called a domestic abuse hotline. They were stellar. Had a young daughter and two dogs with me. I was able to relocate rather than go into a shelter, thankfully, but would have done what I needed to do. Then he tracked me down and had a couple years of stalking. Was told by abuse expert that it would be safer in my case to not get a PFA. Long stupid story. This was over a decade ago. Haven't dated since. Check about every 6-12 months to see if his address changes and for an obituary. (When he dies I can open my first-floor blinds again.) Daughter was affected but is living a successful mostly happy adult life despite my mistakes. Sure did learn a lot.

When it's a 10 - 2 vote for guilty, the 2 holdouts are usually the ones who change their vote to guilty. Fascinating how this time it was the 10 that changed their vote to not guilty. Audio going bad right at the point where there's an alleged confession and first responders moving the gun at the scene can both raise reasonable doubt. Even the prosecutor said, 'We failed that family.' Regardless of how guilty a defendant looks circumstantially, the jury is instructed to make a decision that's based solely on the evidence presented.

As a victim of domestic abuse I would NOT chase down the abuser. I also would not be burning up the phone wire chasing down the abuser.
Nope.. that's a true narcissist right there, she's the abuser who couldn't let go.. this was a bad case, the prosecutor thought it was a slam dunk and didn't do enough to show her narcissistic abusive behavior.. his friends should have been testifying against her as to what they knew and witnessed, the fact that they witnessed HER hitting him! And that they had evidence of her pointing a gun at him.. she was allowed to accuse Steven of rape and abuse with no evidence but Steven had no one to defend him in that trial. That’s why they need to grow up before moving in together (they should listen to Jordan Peterson's very good tips on living together before marriage). Also, they need to learn to read red flags, listen to their instincts about other people or situations, and not dismiss them. If someone is cheating on you, that is a red flag. Doing it with your so-called friend is a huge red flag, and this should have made you take your things and move out on the same day you learned what she did. Instead, he was confused between "loving" her and hurting her feelings, which eventually cost him his life.

@@redbandit7481The defense chose a really dumb jury.
Folks, this isn't how juries work.
The prosecution takes a case to a Grand Jury, who decide the charges. Then, the prosecution chooses which of those to bring to court. The jury at trial only gets to decide guilty or not guilty on THOSE charges. If a charge wasn't given to them, they can't find her guilty on it.
It said in the story there were lesser charges, the jury found her not guilty on all of them. Then the one idiot said "I'm not saying she's not guilty", no, that's exactly what you said.

What a colossal miscarriage of justice. Unbelievable verdict. This was a slam dunk imo. How those two jurors made up their minds despite her constant lies about what went down is truly baffling.
Wasn't just those 2 jurors. She was found not guilty. It wasn't a mistrial.
ALL of the Jury must agree whether you are guilty or Not guilty. If there are any hold-outs, then it's a mistrial because guilt or innocence has not been determined by every member of the Jury.
So for a Guilty/Not Guilty verdict, the entire jury is in agreement.
If a single member of the jury does not agree with the other members of the jury and there can be no resolve, then it's declared a mistrial.
If the jury verdict is Not Guilty they can not have another trial aka double jeopardy.... but if there is a mistrial then another trial can happen if the prosecution decides they want to go out it again.
The Double Jeopardy Clause in the Fifth Amendment to the US Constitution prohibits anyone from being prosecuted twice for substantially the same crime.
It is not believable that he was so violent that she was afraid of him yet constantly blows up his phone and physical tracks him down to insist he comes home. Her story doesn't make sense. Also his friends had seen her hit him on many occasions yet nobody ever saw him hit her.

I protected him and our relationship at all cause until I opened my eyes. I convinced him to visit his family members in Canada and I ran away when he came back I was gone , protected with my family and ready to file divorce. Went people found out , everyone was surprised and accused me of leaving him because they just couldn’t believe he was abusive and prefer to think I was the bad one. It’s been 2 years he has shown his true colors , and I have now heal And move on. I’m just saying this because for the prosecutor to use that she never said anything to anyone that could be true. Everything else I don’t know and I’m not defending anyone.
Same here
Unbelievable! She intentionally killed him, and they let her walk.
As she leaves the courtroom, she says, "I can't believe this is happening,"....meaning, I did it, and I can't believe I'm getting away with it.
That was my exact thought. She was shocked she got away with it.
@@LibbyinTexas Very shocked! I was too!
@@LibbyinTexas That was her O.J. moment

😂😂😂 strange comp
Absolutely… and hoping nobody notices.
@@christinek380That's a really well-known analogy actually. 😂
bingo.
@@SM-cg5uy and a beautiful one at that.
This goes to show us ....if the police do not follow rigid procedure...a GUILTY person can walk free.... SAD!!!
She takes so long to answer questions bc she’s trying to remember what story she’s told.
When his friend said, "As soon as I heard what happened to him, I knew she did it," that's when I knew she did it. Those closest to victims often know the truth
Exactly. The signs were all there. He probably really loved and trusted her despite having every reason NOT to. She's 360° of disgusting.
How two clowns convinced 10 no clowns to become 12 clowns. UNBELIEVABLE . RIP justice.
Absolutely unbelievable 😓
No justice was served here.. and these two clowns were very proud of themselves for pulling this off
How do you kick someone in bed so hard they flew out of bed?? These lawyers be lawyering 😂😂😂😂
Whoa! This is disgusting. No justice for the victim or his poor mom. God, please give the mom peace.
What a load of crap. Shame on that jury. She will answer to the good Lord.
if it is a boyfriend that shot girlfriend in the neck and the same story is told, how will that jury rule?
Ameeeen to that
The jury sat through the trial. You didn't.
It’s tough because I’ve heard other cases where police claim the person confessed, but they don’t have proof. I believe them in this case, but without the evidence there is some reasonable doubt.
that’s because she cried n subtly played to the chivalry of the male jurors as shown in the video.
Her resemblance to Jodi Arias is crazy. She’s like a fat version of that other psychopath.
Such a sad, sad story. Poor Steven 💔
That was exactly my first thought!!
They don't look alike really at all .
So true ugh!
i don't trust this phenotype

Her attitude, not her looks.
You're so smart! 😅
All of us: Gather what you want to keep, leave, and revel in freedom!
The two jurors are clowns
Every responsible gun operator, which she was supposed to be, knows you NEVER toss a gun, not even if it's unloaded. Treat EVERY weapon as though it were loaded!
Good point on never tossing a gun. If that's what happened, it should have been a manslaughter conviction.
How about just not keeping a lethal weapon around to begin with.
Exactly,smh...
@@c.t.2252At least negligent homicide,smh...
@@RevLeigh55precisely...
The fact that the parents said that as a child she was basically an entertainer, someone who loved being the center of attention, to me, screams someone who was good at acting. Enough to convince the jury, anyway.
Absolutely!!
The drama queen! It was clear that she was a narcissist and always needing to be the center of attention..
Just the 911 call. Look at me. Look at me! That's a narcissist right there.
She was a horrible actress. I’m not sure if I could have cringed any more. Having an interest in something or a passion for it does not mean you’re good at it.
I thought the same exact thing!!!
no she wasnt... no TEARS... i havent seen so bad fake crying in my life... like so fake.
She acts 10x better than Amber Heard, I tell you that much.
Also if you can see the "suspect" being interviewed in some swanky hotel room, you should already know she was acquitted.
For all the scenes of this girl crying, you'd think we'd at least see an actual tear.
Jurors don’t understand “beyond a REASONABLE doubt” not “beyond ANY doubt”. Why don’t lawyers explain this better?! These jurors are a prime example of not understanding this!!!
Right. They said their decision was based on the law but it wasn't and they weren't corrected. Not even by the other 10 jurors! They probably just wanted to go home. It's sad this guy didn't get justice and they let this crazy woman out to wreck some other poor man's life probably.
I agree. And there was lots of reasonable doubt in this case. Even convicting on a lower charge would have made sense if they were conflicted. Jury got it wrong this time.
You WERENT there! You are watching a 45 minute video. And you cannot lock someone up based on your own gut. You actually have no idea what evidence they heard in its entirety. Grow up. This is an ignorant, immature comment. You don’t know anything.
It works both ways
On the contrary
Those jurors say "oh, she's guilty alright, but we can't let the cops get away with a sloppy job". So, they've put a murderer out onto the streets.
If Steven had done nothing and the abuse was all hers, he wouldn't have stuck around long enough to get himself killed. He participated in the so-called "relationship". He one-upped her and threatened her with violence. That was obvious in his text messages. Maybe he just liked the drama. Ever think of that? We'll never know. Anway, the accused is convicted -- or not -- on evidence. The jury found reasonable doubt, which essentially means not enough evidence to convict.
@c.t.2252 hopefully you apply that logic consistently.
@@c.t.2252 nonsense argument and logic. Every female murdere creates the rape and abuse story. How convenient is it that is this apparent bruising but no evidence of it. Although I agree that the police should've tried harder to get her to confess again... I'm in total shock that they find her not guilty on all counts 😡😭
