As a retired military veteran I have a question, what the hell was that dude thinking wearing his uniform to court? That’s 100% against regulations; he wasn’t testifying at a military court and he wasn’t testifying on behalf of the military.
Also, when a cop can’t admit they’re wrong and they double down, it brings a lot of doubt.

A woman who’s truly abused to where she was in fear of her life doesn’t confront their abuser trying to get into their house while the “abuser” is saying he’s scared of her and she is a toxic liar. That alone is almost enough, but with all the other evidence? She murdered this man.

Didn't she state that she was thinking that he was going to try to get her put away or something by saying she assaulted him and if I remember correctly then possibly that would affect her custody of her son. Didn't she want to talk him out of this. Any mother would take this chance of talking to the abuser to protect her child. I think she was abused by this man possibly psychologically and definitely physically and believes that he would do this even if it wasn't true. I think that having been in a relationship where they protect their image and destroy you is their goal is what I think I have heard a narcissist does. I think I may be true that it is common for the wife to look like the crazy one while the abuser gets off scott free for being guilty of his crime although she lived to tell the story with people not believeing her unless she lied. If what she says is true which I think there is reasonable doubt that she could be innocent, well at least she did not get killed but I wish that maybe she would have testified to say why she believed she was in danger for her life but he has beat her many times so may be this time she could see it in his eyes that he was not right in his head and could have killed her who know.

And he didn't care about getting fired, but gave her life away as he handed her the gun persuading her to use it cause he thinks she is beautiful wow women need to watch out and be smarter! Literally he handed her life to the prison itself without possibly of parole in this corrupt delusional government jurisdictional country and world, and she inexperienced, gave her life away at the moment she consented and took the gun, she had accepted then and there what her plan was. She needed to have just returned next business day to court and proceed with restraining order, but all because of this idiots officials fault, she the one inexperienced had fell for the worst. The worst part is she did it herself, be it self defense or not. And when there is another person involved that gets no part in the penalties... Wow. This is Georgia, where guns serve as gifts to friends and loved ones. Here up north, when we’re looking for a present to give somebody on a birthday or anniversary or to celebrate an important holiday, we usually think of flowers or candy or something from an Amazon Wish List. But in Georgia and other southern states, people tend to give guns as a way of saying, “I care.”
Of course on very special occasions, high-school graduation, for example, or release from prison, loved ones usually give a machine gun. They say it’s “the gift that keeps on giving.”😂

      Its odd.
His injury however, on the back of the head, bleeding, alledgedly her hitting him with a hammer, thats not something you see as self inflicted.
Its not all that hard to make some bruises on your arm. Black eye is a lot harder, but the pictures shown are not fresh and through black eye. Its the remnants of it and can easily be faked with make up.
I dont think what you state here was in the video. But it corroborates the suspicion i had wrt her injuries.

She was the abuser in the relationship and the day you choose to leave an abuser you are in BIG DANGER. I‘m floored by so many aspects of this story! I can’t believe that it seems to be legal in the US to show up with cameras at a scene where one person just died and spill details of an ongoing investigation and then have that aired before the defendant got a fair trial?? The fact that the detective was ok with doing a show like this shows her lack of morals and professionalism. I doubt that this would be legal in my country and I wish the law could come for her in some way! In this case she might have at least been right in her conclusion but imagine how much damage she could do working like this!

I thought the same thing! Not sure which country you live in but here in the U.K. you can’t even film in court due to causing bias…so can’t imagine how a T.V crew are allowed at an active crime scene, just totally bizarre!

The problem is our legal system, it’s almost always assumed that the woman is often a victim, men can also be victims of domestic violence. I’ve seen this happen to my brother in a previous relationship. She was narcissistic and manipulative, thank goodness he left her.

    • @mwahha6965

That’s because statistics don’t lie, women are often the majority of victims - take a look at the other 48hr episodes. I’m not saying it can’t work the other way around but it’s pretty clear in this case both were abusive.

Sheila Ross is an outstanding Prosecutor. A very commanding presence. Her choice of words in her opening and closing statements for me made the case. She saw right through Victoria. Even the judge, when passing his sentence, didn’t hesitate to in imposing maximum punishment for Victoria.
