Get the law in my opinion. I have one and I adore it! It is absolute perfection. I have no other way of rocking a 14.5” scoped SPR into a backpack without taking it apart. With the law folder you are literally chopping off the entire buffer assembly when folded
Depends on what the end goal is. A law folder will get you shorter than the brace but it’s also very heavy while the brace is crazy light. A folder lets you your normal stocks for a better cheek weld while the brace isn’t much of a cheek weld so anything scoped I would do folder but dot id run the brace. That being said have both, brace on a 10.5 and a folder on a 14.5. Im going to take the folder off the 14.5 bc the weight is too much and it likes to wiggle. I would only use it for a bag gun where size is more important than weight. The brace is super light but bc the added size my 10.5 doesn’t fit in a normal backpack anymore.
@@dylanwatson8468also can’t shoot the law tactical folded without the aric which is both expensive and I’ve seen mixed reviews on. Can shoot the brace fully collapsed.
@@adamg574 ya don’t get their bolt it sucks. I’ve never had a desire to shoot it folded anyways. It’s for transport only where deployment needs to be faster than splitting the upper and lower apart.
@@Disastrous.Affect I've tried finding photos of it flipped over, but haven't seen one. I hoping that the overall receiver extension tube is not completely covered (top and bottom) by the extension arms cover/guide.
Will this work on a non suppressed (for now) AR-9? I have a New Frontier Armory lower with a 10oz buffer and .308 spring mated to an Aero EPC upper. I’m running a standard tube with an SBA3 now and this compact design would be very nice.
@darkhorsemotorsports182 yes, I've noticed that. But I've also noticed that one of theirs specifically says not compatible with fx-9. The shape of the lower receiver is a bit different than most lowers. I want to be absolutely certain before I purchase
I just do not understand the purpose of these type of stock and braces. Not really saving any length and probably adding weight. Doesn’t make sense to me. Not a fan. But more power to those who like em.
Use aeroshell on the buffer tube threads, It Will let you apply more torque yet it won’t get stuck many years down the road!
What is the overall length difference between this and a folding adapter like the Law?

@@T20-c8flmao how big is the backpack that has a 14.5 going in it?

Where did the smyth busters go?
How do you stake the castle nut with this?
Is that possibly why they recommend thread locker?🤷♂ Perhaps the blue stuff is the right application.🤔
I believe you can flip it over and reach/stake the castle nut between the extension arms.
@@5.56Media Thanks👍

@@5.56Media What you said made sense. I went and looked at the photos at the manufacturer and I do believe you are correct.👍 Thanks again.

Know if the sbpdw brace could mount to the a5 system buffers system ?????
Happy Veteran’s Day Caleb.
Can you use an extension buffer tube on a honey badger
Is there any way I can do an upgraded spring, and where can I find one
Hahaha dude! I was just commenting on an old video about staking this exact brace Caleb! ❤️

So no buffer tube plate on the rear? The brace takes its place?
Correct
They should be half the price
Will this work with the cz been 2?
This looks like the same length of pull as a standard stock/brace and buffer tube
I left a question on the website about this, but I have not yet heard back. I'd like to know if this dohicky deal is compatible with the fx-9?
SB tactical has a different skew number for 9 mm platforms

Could you use it on a 10 m.m. build?
2:40 And i grit my teeth watching him tightening the tube with a crescent wrench and no torque spec.😂
It’s not that big of a deal
It does increase your odds of marring up the end up the tube. Using a 3/4 inch socket is preferred. 👍
I get it but with experience you can actually feel where it needs to be
Now the crescent wrench different story all together
Not gunna lie, I thought it said SB Tactical Hebrew 😂 shut up and take my money!
Nice...so i take it you don't stake it🤔🤫
Can we get that in a 1913 mount instead of the tube mount pleeeeeeeeese?
Just rawdoggin the threads lol. SMH
So they copied the Q stock??? Right??? Right???
Q makes all of it except the actual brace part it’s self.
It was designed by Q they didn’t copy anything learn to listen
