Check out the Sylvan Arms folder. Makes for a great backpack gun. I use 300 Blackout for my EDC in the truck. With a 5.5" barrel and a folding brace, makes for a nice package.
Get the SCW brace setup from Maxim if you want one that looks like the one in the top but is shorter than the one on the bottom. Use the Maxim hatebrake along with the 5.5” barrel and an adjustable gas block so you can reliably run subs and supers with and without a can on it 💯
@@tacticaltray4907 the hate brake will increase back pressure to help it run more reliably, it’s like adding a can to a rifle almost. I’m running the SCW with an h2 buffer weight on my 6” 300blk 1:5 twist faxon barrel and aero precision adjustable gas block. If I tune it for shooting with my can then it won’t cycle 100% of the time unless I put the Hatebrake muzzle device on, or I retune the gas block. I tune mine for the can and run the Hatebrake with supers and I run it with subs when I use my suppressor. And it works great for me after a lot of trial and error. I hope this helps
@@tacticaltray4907 you’re just buying the name with that gun. It’s actually heavier than other options out there and less reliable than many. These days you can throw together some quality parts and build a 300blk that’ll outperform the sig all day long. I know the ammo and the cans are expensive, so don’t spend your money on overpriced parts that won’t do what you really want them to do. All my 300’s are short barrels with cans and very light and compact, because that’s what I feel 300blk is best at. I’ll jump up to a 308 with a longer barrel if I want to take targets at longer distances. Every gun and every caliber has its place. There is no one gun to rule them all.
Great video! I feel the same way when you mentioned the Sig Rattler. 😫 But how are those pistol grips working out for you? I was thinking of getting the same...
Which Maxim brace has the JP SCS in it? If you’re shooting 300blk subs suppressed with a good can, the sproing from a traditional spring will be louder than the action (to me).

Both braces are the top 2 braces in the market.

What kind of hand-stop is that? Do you have a link for it?
