Anodizing is the process when the aluminum is placed in a liquid and treated with electric current. That’s how you get the color. Different voltage changes the colors. It’s made to protect against corrosion. That’s why the honey badger looks so unique.
Nice review man! I heard Kevin say they had found adding color pigment to the anodize process starts to compromise the durability and that was the reason they went that route and considering all the SF guys these were designed for just spray paint them anyways.
@@NameYourBattle no it's a separate item you have to buy. They're called (paracord guides). You don't have to have them, but they make for a cleaner look hiding the paracord's knot.
Get a Trijicon MRO HD with a scalarworks mount. Or if you want something really light weight and low profile, get a Trijicon RMR with a scalarworks mount.
Have you ever run and gunned heavily? Most guys who talk about durability can’t run a 5k and haven’t shot 5000 rounds total in their life. Is that you?
For all kevin says about how you can't build something got 1/2th of a Honey Badger, i'll say I got a 9.2" PDW that would smoke his upcoming 5.56 honey badger.
I have one. I’m a fanboi and I was still impressed. Less gas, less recoil, and lighter than an SR15 that I sold after I bought this. No deflection on the handgaurd. Genuinely don’t understand the hate. First thing anyone says about it is ALWAYS “the Q guy seems arrogant.” Like who TF cares. All complaints from non-owners are always theoretical. Buy one and don’t look back.
Super slick. Personally I would use a micro red dot and a 20 round mag for a really compact package but I don't have one yet
Which?
My safety selector was stiff as well. After taken it apart & greasing it; works smooth like it should now.
I’ll have to give that a shot. Thank you for mentioning it my man!

Also the arm brace version that goes on any receiver also has three positions
love the vid and the advice bro! new sub.
Appreciate you watching through the whole video!! And TYSM for the subscribe. 💯👊
Is this considered a sbr or still a pistol?
I've got the version of that stock that goes on any lower receiver
Maybe I missed it, but what strap do you have on the badger here? I like the idea of not using QD mounts on a short set up like this.
You didn’t miss it totally forgot to mention it. But it’s from Edgar Sherman Designs. Awesome sling for the money.
@@KN_SBR89 does the sling come with those loop connectors or is that a separate purchase you made? Their website isn't clear

I’m running a reptilia mount with an Aimpoint ACRO on it now. Stupidddd light weight. 🤙🤙
Damn that’s spicy
sweet gun
I want to hold it!
All for looks. Not confident that the gun can withstand heavy running and gunning.
Based on what 😂

@@Metalkgoodive run and gunned plenty... In fact, I've seen plenty of Gucci ARs fail.
