Be prepared to que i spent 12 hours last time and 7 hours before that the 12 hour one i was first in general admission que unfortunately people who could afford VIP some turning up not long before they could get in pùt me 2 rows behind still got huge smile off Moa . 7 of VIPs where there about an hour before me and had just travelled from the show the night before .

It all started from a nyango star video (killing it at the kindergarten show 😂), then following the recommendations, discovered his RoR cover, that got me intrigued in the band, and here I am. Only listened to 4-5 songs so far, so much to discover...
Also, the specific version you mention seems blocked on YT, while the legend of 1997 live seems ok 😅

I'm going to disagree with the majority opinion on this.
IMO, It's fine to react to the music videos first and then follow up with a live version later.
That's how most of us experienced BABYMETAL the first time.
There really aren't all that many that are full on music videos, and not just concert footage.
Sometimes there's some interesting context you might not know about that's only in the music video.
In the 'Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!!!' video, Su whispers the "Ki-er-o" ("Dis-app-ear") line.
When it's performed live, that's a line that the audience always shouts out.
Although it's definitely worth while to make a note of which specific live versions are being recommended.
There's usually a good reason for that.
I've said pretty much the same in another reaction video. Without seeing this video people wonder where the neck brace comes from when they see it in other videos. When you see the MV for Megitsune and see the mic knife. Babybones dancing in Doki. The middle section from iine, which is usually different in most live shows, etc.

While the music video is good, you're going to hear from a lot of comments that the live version is better, as live BABYMETAL is best BABYMETAL! I'm really glad you enjoyed it though!
You need to see “No Rain No Rainbow” from Legend S in Hiroshima Green Arena, is something different, but it is, in my opinion, one of the best BABYMETAL songs.

Great reaction. This song was my introduction to the band back in 2013. I was a goner before Su stopped smacking her head into the nightstand.

Love the way you react to them. I think you need to know that in my opinion Babymetal songs are "growing up" as they're getting old. In the firts album (gimme chocolate, headbanger) their songs sound like badass and very childish at the same time, so adorable. In their second album (Road of Resistance, Karate) you can feel their growing up as teens in their songs, yui's and moa's dance coreography is doing less childish action. And in their latest album (Da Da Dance, Pa Pa Ya) you can feel they're now adults, Su is around 22 and Moa is around 20, less childish shouts, more like erotic. "Their songs are written exactly for them"

@@martinmetal7481 They do short sets, they can only fit so many songs in. They obviously want to promote the new album, so they have to do a lot of newer songs, they can't do all their older hits. The set list for their recent European tour included Gimme chocolate, Headbanger, Karate, Megitsune, and Road of Resistance. Everything else was Metal Galaxy.
Martinmetal those songs will never go away but they are growing up. They have said as much.

should have done live but this is good to see some early stuff. this is about a 15 year old girl going to her first metal show even though she was 14 at this time. live is so cool. the first videos are different than live and some is when they hadnt figured out the direction they were going. they still do this song live and it is great .it gets the crowd hyped up. and i dont think you are ready for Death legend 1997 when Su gets crucified.

Babymetal is the group that made me capsize in 2014 for metal and learn Japanese. All of their songs are great qualities. If you listen well the influences of all kinds of music are integrated into their songs like, punk, hip-hop, ska, bolywood, rock, dup-step, dance, house, etc. With metal, core death, black metal etc mix with base metal and j-pop. It's crazy but you have to have an open mind and you have it. A song list:

This is the BM song I mostly wish you could react to from your day 1 reacting BM Give Me Choco, I've been waiting for this for few months already. It is the same as I would imagine your behaviour during the reaction, headbanging, screaming, jumping, running around, leaving the room (almost), bottom-line is having great fun.
I think others would suggest you to react Headbangeeeeerrrr!!! Live Version for this, I'd also strongly suggest you to do it & I guarantee you won't be disappointed at all. Either "Legend 1997" or "Budokun Black Night" version would do, both versions are epic & have become two of BM live performance legends.

Even though ALL people here are begging for the live version, I believe that sometimes the music video provide some sort of context, and this is one of them. The neckbrace, the red moon, etc. But, yes, I also prefer live versions once I get all the context.

Fantastic reaction! I saw BABYMETAL in London in February this year and this song is awesome live! A current favourite of mine that they played is the awesome BxMxC.
Oh and if you like the guitar playing in Babymetal I'm PRETTY sure it's a dude named Takayoshi Ohmura who also has some cool videos on youtube, including at least one guitar duel with Galneryus' (the band I also recommended) guitarist Syu.

This music video and the live version of this song from the Legend 1997 concert is what hooked me on BM. I rocked this song nonstop for 2 days, then fell into the foxhole. Do yourself a favor and watch that live performance. The breakdown is longer and I just love how it works.
Yay- finally the Bangerrrrrr- But you really should do this song live! Especially the Makuhari messe version. So much energy in that! There are even versions (Moa's birthsays and Yui's birthday) where the two sing the 2nd half of this song. You can hear how THEY can sing- almost as good as Su, but the fans go crazy when they sing! Especially on the Moabangerrrrr version.
