Hey Mikey, great stuff and all the secrets out! One trailer you didn’t talk about and don’t sleep on will be there zoom tiny fluke. Great action with that fork tail.
Have you not tried the power ned worm yet?! It doesn't bulk the bait up but that flat/tapered tail WIGGLES. I've thrown spunk shads on the minimax and they don't move like the power ned.
The Komodo mini trailer works great. Had a couple of short striking fish. Bite the tails off the. So you'll be going through a lot of baits. Well, just like the old Doritos commercial used to say. Don't worry we'll make more.🎣.
Bro I just caught a 5.55 (5.9) smallie on a 3/8 pearl w/ big bites baits zero drop minnow (basically a baby fluke with s forked tail instead of split- they’re killllrr on the back… been catching absolute trophy 4-5-6 lb river smallies on miniMAX this year.. I feel like it’s perfect for smallmouth and spots
first off, Mikey, love the hat! 👍👍 I agree, I find myself throwing the minimax more than the regular size chatter bait these days. Another good subtle trailer is the RE shiver shot. Tight lines!
Thanks! The hat is my secret weapon for catching fish 😉 Glad to hear you're throwing the Minimax Chatterbait more often, it's definitely a game-changer!
You talked about the using the mini like a rattle bait, does that mean you would use it in the early spring also and not just the late summer and fall?
Consult the moon and the tides. Burn a black candle and wave a dead crow over it. Prick your finger and wipe the blood on the Blarney Stone. Or you could use a MiniMax with one of the trailers Balzz just showed you… 😁
@@jessevowell2554 ok bro I was just kidding around. I actually have no tournament experience so I respect you for that. Good luck out there and I’ll say a prayer for you
If there's any BFS anglers, a micro chatterbait with a 2.8 is really fun to throw. And works with a super slow cadence.
Gonna try a mini with the 3" Berkley stinger
Once again, hit it out of the park. Can't wait to try this. Thank you!
i have a few of the minimaxex but havent used them. those hog farmer spunk shad are great chaterbait trailers.
3/8 Candy crush micro chatterbait with the watermelon candy fluke is on point in the rivers around here in North Kackylacky !!
Smashed it Balzz! I love throwing a chatterbait, especially the smaller ones! Thanks as always Space Balzz crew 🎣
Great breakdown on this bait. I dig it 🪬 the video edit was solid as well 📸
A curly tail grub works pretty well on that bait as well
Love that hat! Nice vid, love the large Komodo on the chatter bait elite. Lots of great options for the mini. A super fall small bait imitator!❤️

Hey bro where I get the komodo jr. I can't find them anywhere
If you have any influence with Val at Gambler get them to bring back the green pumpkin 5 " weebo finesse worm.
Mikey, are you throwing the mini on the same rod/line as you use for your other chatterbaits?
no a little bit lighter rod - still 15lbs flouro but a medium instead of medium heavy rod.

yup, just like a lipless crankbait.
Do you trim the skirts on the mini max
Definitely
I was wondering this too. I decided not to trim and glad I didn’t because after a few bites the fish trimmed the skirt for me.
Hey buddy, I have a tournament on chick this weekend, what should i do?
