Can we just take a sec to appreciate the anxiety friendly videos you post? Stable camera, soft music, soft voice overs. My anxious ass loves them. Thank you!
same. my ADHD just soothes. the music alone would be too little and annoy me, but ade her voice, fast but not too loud and a nice stable timbre, and i can just chill.
That dress is breathtaking. I never realized how important a neckline was to a necklace. It's not silly to make something to showcase something else you love that have a lot of, especially since you have the skill to do so.
Another stunning creation. Wouldn't we ALL absolutely love that dress?!? As a more 'mature' woman I find that neckline choices are so limited in fast-fashion. The choices are either so (plungingly) low as to be unwearable, or simply to high to showcase the necklaces I have ... THIS is a beautiful alternative!
I don't think we'll ever get tired of the black dresses. This is one I would absolutely wear if I wasn't too lazy to make it. Such a flattering shape. I think this neckline would pair well with the sort of trumpet shape of the skirt from the lemon print dress as well, for some reason. I could also see this neckline paired with ¾ sleeves that end in fold-back pointed cuffs, so there's another spiky angle at the end of the sleeve. Maybe add a little more volume to the sleeve cap as well, to make that area puff/spike a bit. The Halloween potential of this neckline is considerable, so I look forward to seeing what else you do with it.
I absolutely agree with needing the right neckline for a necklace. I am a bead artist and make over the top necklaces for sale as well as for my own wardrobe. (btw yes I make moth and other insect/creature jewelry) I am always disappointed when there are design elements to a top/dress that can never be worn with a necklace, ie breast pockets on t-shirts, prints that only appear on the front and not the back, those damn plastic "jewels" glued around the neckline and then there are the actual neckline itself. Kudo's to you for making your own dresses. I do that historically but not in modern clothing. Thanks for doing this channel it is a lovely break from my "day job".
Such a stunning dress! It’s giving me Morticia vibes, but also “oh noooo, my extremely rich husband died, under mysterious circumstances, right after I took out a life insurance policy on him, tragic…”
You do look good in a dress! And I loved the posing at the end. About dating, I am the worst at it and for the last 2 years it’s been just impossible. Hopefully there are dates in both of our futures! Lol 😂
Totally with you on the “ necklace needs to match the neckline”. No weirdness there as far as I’m concerned. And an elbow dart! Gasp! Will wonders never cease! You videos about darts have been a revelation to a beginner like me. The dress is gorgeous on you btw.
Absolutely stunning as always! Don’t worry- Quick turnarounds are just as lovely as complex projects- they encourage me that not all projects take weeks to months to finish.
The green lights reflecting on your machine and bathing your fingers was lovely as is your little black dress. Absolutely gorgeous! I learn something new everytime I watch your sewing room.
Please continue to do hour long episodes! You always make my day when I watch you do your rearranging of a block pattern!I've learned alot from watching your blogs! Oh! I was taught to sew, sewing over your pins! I was EXTATIC to see someone else did this! Keep on sewing, & plz don't quit!
I just realized that green light you use kinda gives your filming a Beetlejuice kind of vibe and I’m so here for that! This dress is gorgeous! I love the neckline. I’m a huuuuge advocate of never having enough black dresses.
Thank you Amber! I just wish I could use purple lighting too, but the LED in some colors don't work with the camera shutter speed which is just beyond my understanding of how to avoid 🤣
It must be two years since I´m a follower and yours still remain my favourite tailoring channel. You look GORGEOUS in your dresses, but you really GLOW in black ones. A constant admirer from Madrid.
A black dress is a wardrobe staple. They're so versatile. I love the neckline on this one. It really does highlight your beautiful necklaces and looks so wonderful on you!
Oh my lord B you look absolutely stunning. Like just the aesthetics are AMAZING! I don't think I comment often enough to tell you how absolutely invaluable your videos are to me. You basically single handedly taught me patterning. You're wonderful thank you for all the work you do!
"I don't know how to date" you are killing me with the quotes. I appreciate the drafting tips I need to update my sewing skills so that I get better at hacking. Nothing ridiculous about having clothing that suits your needs.
Girl. You were on a roll with the presentation at the end! The poses, the facial expressions? EXUDING confidence and happiness, it's awesome! Fantastic dress, too, as always.
That neckline! and the shallow V neck on your dress in the Intro and Closing are both wonderful to show off necklaces, but of course the angled one draws more attention to the necklace, neck and face just beautifully. Bravo! The squared back neckline is so good to match it and be just out of the ordinary.
it cracks me up that you talk about fashion school the way I talk about architecture school! but that is a stunning dress and I am SO glad you make all these videos.
Thank you Paloma! The first university I went to also had a big architecture program and I always wanted to buy the funny model making materials in the school supply shop on campus ✨
"if you are examining my hem that closely, and that is what you want to talk about...*cough cough*" I love your jokes 🤣. This is a beautiful dress, I want to make one now. You have helped me so much in my sewing journey. Thank you.
This dress is lovely, I adore the neckline! It is perfect for necklaces :) I’ve recently started learning to pattern in Illustrator, and I’ve had your dart manipulation video on repeat. For some reason dart manipulation that is straightforward with paper is doing my head in when working in Illustrator. Thanks for showing the process so clearly!
RE: Live stream, perhaps a side hustling video instead of a sewing one? This dress is stunning! I never tire of a well made, well fitting LBD! You look gorgeous.
Great LBD. I love the fabric. My favorite summer top is made of a cotton pique with a little stretch. It's too bad it was hard to see the texture of the fabric in the video. You often denigrate your fashion school experience, but it is clear to me that you have mad sewing skills. Your sewing is much more refined than mine. I learned to sew in Junior High Home Economics class and went on to sew most of my High School wardrobe. I love your videos!
Thank you Beth! I suppose I really don't attribute any sewing skills I have to the fashion programs I attended. Most of what I have learned over the last many years has been self directed, outside the classroom through exploration or independent research!
I would want to examine your hem and talk about it. But not from a critical point of view. I just love seeing how things go together, the variations that happen because of materials, and I absolutely respect people putting the time and energy into the visible parts and structurally sound for the less visible parts. Yeah, beautiful interior finishing is lovely, if you’re in the mood to do it, but if it’s going to inhibit you from getting a project done, or reduce your interest in starting at all… that’s just dumb. The great thing, is I DO get to examine your hems and it’s not invasive or weird. :) Thank you Internet friend.
Most of what you show in sewing is how my mother taught me to sew. Pressing the darts towards the center, tying the threads at the end of the darts rather than back stitching are two of the things that you do that remind me of her. She never taught me to finish the inside seams. That is something that I have had to learn on my own. By the way. I think a trim of black velvet ribbon of about an inch wide around the neckline would look wonderful too.
With every new sewing tutorial you're motivating me to elevate my finishing details, which is something I am usually struggling a lot, so it never looks finishes enough
If it's just the blade on your serger thats broken (and not the mechanism) you can get replacement top blade for around $25 (bottom blades were $5). It was also very easy to fit. FYI the bottom blades are mild steel, and are designed to wear out, leaving the top blade (hardened steel) sharp. I found with normal use, I replace the bottom blade once a year, and I replaced the top blade after 10 years, just because it seemed like a good idea.
Oh, this dress is fabulous and you look very fabulous wearing it. I really like the neckline. I must copy it. My challenge, now; to create a garment that goes well with a potato shaped body. :) I am optimistic.
I just realized that if you replace the pencil skirt with an A-line or flared skirt, you've almost perfectly recreated the red dress from The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, which is just amazing.
the front neckline is indeed very dramatic, especially in black, and im so happy you decided for a simple square back pattern. the result is awesome, as usual!
This is STUNNING. NO need to apologize for the “simple” project, I think we all love it! This is not my own usual style but I suddenly feel a nearly irresistible urge to try a neckline line this myself..... 😍
I just have to say that you are stunning and I am in awe of your talent! I am teaching myself to sew and you've inspired me to learn about pattern drafting. I would really love if you would do like a sewing basics series for all our newbies
That's a great-looking dress and can imagine how it would also be great in navy blue or forest green. There's always a need to have a few black dresses in one's closet.
😍😍😍 So gorgeous! I'm glad I'm not the only one concerned with the accessories I'll pair with an outfit while I make my clothes 😅 Thank you for making me feel less alone 💙
Your videos are so informative and educational and maintain approachability despite teaching so many things, I don’t feel daunted by projects! Also, ummmm yes?? Who doesn’t need a dress specifically to show off fancy necklaces?
I love this neckline! I was hoping you'd make a full piece when you showed the mockup last time. Also love the reveal!! Yeah LEDS and the lighting SPIN TRANSITION! Epic!
WaBAM! That opening reveal shot nearly knocked me out of my chair! That has got to be the single most flattering garment I have seen you make so far. I need to get my sh*t together and finish developing my bodice block...
... I'm just not going to talk to them any more. Words to live by, for real. Guess I have to go get some of this delicious fabric and make my own fabulous necklace wearing widow dress. You are so gorgeous B!
Hi Bianca!! I wholeheartedly agree with you about needing the right neckline for the right necklace.. This dress is totally gorgeous.. Most of all you are totally stunning in said dress…. 💜💜💜🧵🧵🧵
I said it on the mock-up/demo video, but I'm going to say it again: that neckline is so flattering! Honestly, you can't go wrong with black dresses (right? 😉)
Hi, wow! Stunning lbd, and you look fabulous in it as always, watching you teach dart magic and then making a dress with the pattons you made is great, I'm just procrastinating about starting making clothes for me.💖
What a great neckline!!! That dress is amazing! Never really thought about the proper neckline for necklaces, but it make so much sense. Another fantastic job!
Can we just take a sec to appreciate the anxiety friendly videos you post? Stable camera, soft music, soft voice overs. My anxious ass loves them. Thank you!
So that's what it is!! My anxious brain absolutely mellows to TCH videos..
Thank you Emma ❤

That dress is breathtaking. I never realized how important a neckline was to a necklace. It's not silly to make something to showcase something else you love that have a lot of, especially since you have the skill to do so.
Thank you Rachelle!

Agreed on the Halloween potential? How yummy would a shimmery green fabric be?
Thank you Siansonea!

Thank you! ❤ I like accessories so much I can't help but design clothes purely to feature them 😅😍
Such a stunning dress! It’s giving me Morticia vibes, but also “oh noooo, my extremely rich husband died, under mysterious circumstances, right after I took out a life insurance policy on him, tragic…”
But of course!
Thank you! Noir dames always ✨🖤
You do look good in a dress! And I loved the posing at the end. About dating, I am the worst at it and for the last 2 years it’s been just impossible. Hopefully there are dates in both of our futures! Lol 😂
Thank you Sylvie! Yeah really wish I could just have a great person by magic and skip the finding and dating part 😅✨
I love how you genuinely look like you are FEELING yourself in this dress! Gotta love a banging confidence boosting dress ❤❤
Thank you! I am definitely in love with this one 😅❤
You make quite the 40s-50s femme fatale; the gorgeous little black dress, pearl necklace and white gloves provide contrast with your...arm tattoos!
On the point!
She would be the perfect choice for any neo noir movie.
Thank you!
Totally with you on the “ necklace needs to match the neckline”. No weirdness there as far as I’m concerned. And an elbow dart! Gasp! Will wonders never cease! You videos about darts have been a revelation to a beginner like me. The dress is gorgeous on you btw.
Thank you Carmelina!
Who’s looking like a real vamp there?! Wauw, this neckline, threequarter sleeves and tapered skirt *chef’s kiss* 🤩🤩🤩
Thank you Diana!
Absolutely stunning as always! Don’t worry- Quick turnarounds are just as lovely as complex projects- they encourage me that not all projects take weeks to months to finish.
Same!
Thank you Kelly! I have definitely gotten faster with practice and time as well ✨
The green lights reflecting on your machine and bathing your fingers was lovely as is your little black dress. Absolutely gorgeous! I learn something new everytime I watch your sewing room.
Thank you! I do love some colored lights ha 💚😂
Thank you Marcie!
I love your hair like this. And the neckline is perfect.
Thank you Mary!
After a couple years of watching you alter patterns, I feel better doing myself. Thank you for sharing your talents !
Thank you Marie!
YOU'RE SO GORGEOUS! I LOVE THIS DRESS! I also really love how you teach! 🤟
Thank you Gwenhwyfar!
GORGEOUS!!! I bet you feel like a million bucks in this!!!!
Thank you Sarah! A bit yes, it will become a go-to for sure 😂❤
There is no such thing as too many black dresses, especially with this neckline....GORGEOUS!!!!
Thank you Deborah!
I have a perfectly adequate black dress, but I now understand that I need a stunning black dress....and accessories. Wonderful video. Thank you B!
Thank you Dannie!
Stunning dress, Bianca! The fit is perfection. I do love a 3/4 sleeve!
Thank you Susan!

Absolutely perfect dress for necklaces...and fun drama xxxxxxxx
Thank you Alexandra!
A black dress is a wardrobe staple. They're so versatile. I love the neckline on this one. It really does highlight your beautiful necklaces and looks so wonderful on you!
Thank you Tami!
I love how this dress turned out! I hope one day you'll be able to wear your necklace collection out in the world (Panini pending, of course)
Thank you Chae!
There is just something about a black dress with pearls that exudes an understated elegance to it.
I like the look of a Bolero jacket over a dress. Then you can choose to highlight a necklace, a brooch or go crazy and do both🕷️
Oh my lord B you look absolutely stunning. Like just the aesthetics are AMAZING! I don't think I comment often enough to tell you how absolutely invaluable your videos are to me. You basically single handedly taught me patterning. You're wonderful thank you for all the work you do!
Thank you so much Lilian! ❤
The fit is excellent! This dress truly showcases your necklaces, while being everything all by itself 🖤
Thank you Susan!
That may be the prettiest dress ever created. It is lovely, perfectly fitted, and the shape suits you perfectly.
Thank you Roxie!
That neckline! and the shallow V neck on your dress in the Intro and Closing are both wonderful to show off necklaces, but of course the angled one draws more attention to the necklace, neck and face just beautifully. Bravo!

This dress is killer! Very Femme Fatale. Also, the necklace you chose to exhibit is stunning! It's just beautiful. *chef's kiss*
Thank you Crystil!
"if you are examining my hem that closely, and that is what you want to talk about...*cough cough*" I love your jokes 🤣. This is a beautiful dress, I want to make one now. You have helped me so much in my sewing journey. Thank you.
Thank you Amber! ❤
Great dress and love the reveal!
RE Live Streaming: I generally think hand sewing works best, so maybe some more brooches?
Thank you! Yes I think a beading project would be best for sure!
This dress is lovely, I adore the neckline! It is perfect for necklaces :)
I’ve recently started learning to pattern in Illustrator, and I’ve had your dart manipulation video on repeat. For some reason dart manipulation that is straightforward with paper is doing my head in when working in Illustrator. Thanks for showing the process so clearly!
Thank you! Yeah patterning on the computer instead is not my favorite 😅 I had to do it for class, then haven't since...
Not only did the dress come out beautifully, you look beautiful in it! Great style!
Thank you Denise!
Stunning!! That neckline in the black is just everything. Each necklace makes it a completely different outfit. Love, love, love.
Thank you Marie!
I adore this neckline! Just beautiful!
Thank you!
RE: Live stream, perhaps a side hustling video instead of a sewing one?
This dress is stunning! I never tire of a well made, well fitting LBD! You look gorgeous.
Thank you! I was thinking a beetle beading stream might work too 😂

Giving us mysterious widow at her husband's funeral vibes, how can we not stan? You look literally so stunning
Thank you!! 🖤✨

How fabulous are you.? Love your makeup and loving your dress Miss Bianca.
Thank you!
Love it Bianca - stunning silhouette. You look like you just stepped right off the screen of an early 1950’s film… 🥰
Thank you Tracey!
Loving this dress! and loving the sassy hair! And not silly at all!
Thank you!
Your modeling of the neckline and necklaces was expertly done. I adore your taste in lines and shapes!
Thank you! Figured I would show a few necklaces while I was at it 😂✨
You should make this dress in a light ivory/white for summer and have fun with your accessories. Say a great belt and necklace.
Lovely! Also, that silver and green necklace at the end! 😍
Beautiful, elegant and just a little bit vampiric - perfect!

I'm finding my best assets can be displayed by minimizing waist bulk and moving it down to the hips.
Thank you!!
I think this is one of my favorites so far this year! Beautiful! Ty for a great video!
Thank you Onesma!
That Dress is EVERYTHING!! 🤩 Fabulous!!
I just realized that if you replace the pencil skirt with an A-line or flared skirt, you've almost perfectly recreated the red dress from The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, which is just amazing.
I love how the neckline frames the pendant!
Thank you Ashley! I was hoping it would work for pendants and more collar like necklaces ✨
I love the neckline, looks so much better with the straight angle back. Gorgeous 😍
Thank you!
This black dress is adorably perfect for necklaces!
Thank you Rachel!
Not silly at all. Very practical. I LOVE the neckline. I have watched this over and over again. You make it look simple. Absolute WOW, absolute wow!
Thank you Michelle!
I just love that fabric. It is so beautiful. I typically do just rounded necklines and now I'm inspired to try something different like this.
Thank you Flynn!
the front neckline is indeed very dramatic, especially in black, and im so happy you decided for a simple square back pattern. the result is awesome, as usual!
Thank you!
This is STUNNING. NO need to apologize for the “simple” project, I think we all love it! This is not my own usual style but I suddenly feel a nearly irresistible urge to try a neckline line this myself..... 😍
Thank you Helena!
Sewing live stream would be awesome. Really any live stream would be fun lol
I just have to say that you are stunning and I am in awe of your talent! I am teaching myself to sew and you've inspired me to learn about pattern drafting. I would really love if you would do like a sewing basics series for all our newbies
It's fascinating to me to learn how things are put together. I enjoy your delivery, too, subtly "second lead in a 1940s film." Beautiful final look.
Thank you Luke!
Well done, gorgeous neckline and you wear clothes so beautifully.
Thank you!
That's a great-looking dress and can imagine how it would also be great in navy blue or forest green. There's always a need to have a few black dresses in one's closet.
Thank you Sheri!
I loved the try on clip. You can tell you are feeling yourself. You be working that dress.
Thank you Charlotte! I indeed really love how this one came out!
😍😍😍 So gorgeous! I'm glad I'm not the only one concerned with the accessories I'll pair with an outfit while I make my clothes 😅 Thank you for making me feel less alone 💙
Thank you Josie! Accessories are too much fun ✨
Stunning 😍 The neckline came out so sharp!
Thank you Rebecca!
Your videos are so informative and educational and maintain approachability despite teaching so many things, I don’t feel daunted by projects!
Also, ummmm yes?? Who doesn’t need a dress specifically to show off fancy necklaces?
Thank you! 🖤
You look stunning in this dress. It is perfect for what you wanted it to do. As usual a great show.
Thank you!
I love this neckline! I was hoping you'd make a full piece when you showed the mockup last time. Also love the reveal!! Yeah LEDS and the lighting SPIN TRANSITION! Epic!
Thank you Reina! I went a little hard with the outro this time 😂✨
Love love love the neckline on this dress.
Thank you Debra!
You look gorgeous in this dress! I love the neckline, it gives me witchy vibes. ♥
Thank you Iris!
I think it is so awesome to make something to showcase special jewellery. Go you!!!!!
Thank you Leanne!
WaBAM! That opening reveal shot nearly knocked me out of my chair! That has got to be the single most flattering garment I have seen you make so far. I need to get my sh*t together and finish developing my bodice block...
Thank you Anna!
Love, Love, Love this neck line ! Thanks for sharing your fabulous designs & knowledge with us.
Thank you Diana!
As you said, SO FLATTERING! You look like a movie star!
Thank you Stéfani!
Ooo eeee!! On fire!! What a dress, what a neckline! 😍 Stunning!
Thank you Rowan!
I can tell how much you were feeling yourself in this dress! Love it!
Thank you Gabby! I was having extra fun this day 😂✨
... I'm just not going to talk to them any more. Words to live by, for real. Guess I have to go get some of this delicious fabric and make my own fabulous necklace wearing widow dress. You are so gorgeous B!
Thank you Theresa!
love the dress, classic but with a twist. I can't believe how fast you finish projects
Thank you! I'm very lucky to have few distractions 😅✨
Hi Bianca!! I wholeheartedly agree with you about needing the right neckline for the right necklace.. This dress is totally gorgeous.. Most of all you are totally stunning in said dress….
💜💜💜🧵🧵🧵
Thank you Deana!
I said it on the mock-up/demo video, but I'm going to say it again: that neckline is so flattering! Honestly, you can't go wrong with black dresses (right? 😉)
Thank you! I am already planning my next black dress...😅🖤
Trés chic, magnifique!
Merci!
That slit in the back really ties in great with the neckline!
Thank you!
Gorgeous! Your tutorials are always so clear and concise, I thank you for your continued contributions to all of us who like to sew garments.
Thank you!! ❤
You can't have enough little black dresses, love yours. (And your make-up is stunning too!)
Thank you Diana!
Hi, wow! Stunning lbd, and you look fabulous in it as always, watching you teach dart magic and then making a dress with the pattons you made is great, I'm just procrastinating about starting making clothes for me.💖
Thank you Lesley!
Gorgeous. And yes the neckline is stunning on you.
Thank you!
THE MUSIC CHOICE! YES! Lovely dress (:
Thank you!
I love this dress, I love the neckline and I also really like the french darts.
Thank you Anne!
What a great neckline!!! That dress is amazing! Never really thought about the proper neckline for necklaces, but it make so much sense. Another fantastic job!
Thank you!
