This song really represents the feeling of this area. The sunken ship is from a country long destroyed, and the vessel was left only to lay in the sea. However, despite that, there is still a sense of hope. A sense that not all is lost, and their is still something that can be done.
I could care less about Indol, but this place. THIS, PLACE. I loved it so much, every inch of it. The atmosphere. Whatever is left of Torna as a civilization. It sucked that we weren't able to come back here. This place gave me so many memories in such a short period of time. Locking off this place was a crime. Like, imagine getting off the Great Plateau after the tutorial and, "That's it you're done here, no going back, have a nice life". And the theme is amazing.
MAJOR XC1 SPOILERS If you listen closely you can hear bits of Zanza's theme in the song, just slowed down, it's an amazing hint at Pyra and Mythra's origins, same as the Monado.
Manami Kiyota really worked as the tone-setter in this game. This is the first exploration area, then she also did Gormotti Forest and Womb Center, the intro areas on the next two titans, as well as The Heroic Adventures for the backstory of the Aegis War.

There's not enough pieces like this in the game. I wish there were more. This sounds exactly like something you would hear in the original. There are a lot of great songs in this game, don't get me wrong, but they just don't really sound "Xenoblade" to me.
It's a distinct Manami Kiyota sound. The voices are a giveaway (the same ones that were in Zanza in the first game among others.) Frankly, her sound was Xenoblade's sound; after all, she played a major part in the soundtrack of XC1. In this game she got, what, this song and Spirit Crucible Elpys, with maybe another I can't think of? A bit disappointing.
Kiyota is truly amazing at creating a beautiful and mesmerising sound and bringing the emotions out with her music. It's such a shame she only composed like 2 tracks for Blade 2. Her contribution to the Blade 1's OST was what made exporing the two titans and the big cinematic moment feel so powerful and memorable and I don't think Mitsuda is quite able to fill for her.
This song is hella underrated
As people say: you are a man of culture.
It really is
it's only ever played in this area and you can't visit it again, so it makes sense why
@Dichali Nash You will know it.
The composer for this song is criminally underrated. I feel she really gives the game a Xenoblade feel.
Rex: [To Jin] "Um how are your injuries?"
Jin: "BETTER IF YOU DON'T THINK ABOUT IT."
It makes me laugh every time.
Did you know this was intended for chap 8 bc in chap 1 he doesn't have injuries whereas in chap 8 he does
@@Falto I mean chances are he'll get hit sometimes so in that sense he does get "injured".

Tfw Rex somehow goes back to the ship to look for Pyra when it should've been gone already.
